“Gabby is fantastic. She is very responsive to messages and easy to work with. She treated our dogs like they were her own and took fantastic care of them. She went above and beyond combing and bathing them. Our dogs have daily medication needs, and she took care of this without any issues. We will definitely be using her again for our pet needs!”

“Alekzandra was awesome! We were able to fully enjoy our vacation thanks to her regular updates and pictures of our very happy cats. Great communication and follow-up, recommended sitter. 🐈🐈⬛”

About: My family has owned several dogs since I was a child and I have helped take care of them since I was about 12 years old. I also gained a good amount of experience working at the local SPCA for 2 summers, where I learned about proper dog walking, bathing, nutrition, and cleaning methods for both dogs and cats. I am also a certified Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College and worked in a Veterinary Practices program as a Teaching Assistant for 1 year. I have been dog and cat sitting for family and friends for over 4 years and love animals of all kinds. I can care for rabbits, ferrets and guinea pigs as well! I look forward to meeting your pets and giving my clients peace of mind while they are away! :) I petsit full-time throughout the year. Overnight care in your home requires at least two weeks' notice and are subject to a cancellation fee if you cancel less than a week before the service. Please contact me for more detailed availability, as it is subject to change. I meet with the owner(s) and pets prior to house sitting to ensure their animals and I are familiar with one another and I am informed of each pet's individual needs. I try to ensure dogs get a walk every day, unless they have alternative exercise needs. I try to make sure all animals have both breakfast and dinner, every day, and prioritize this. Potty breaks should be given every 4-6 hours at the most, again depending on the age, size and special needs of the dog. It is not possible for me to board dogs at this time. I've also found that dogs are more comfortable in their own homes. I can gladly send you pictures of the dogs and cats (if the cats aren't hiding) so you know they're doing okay (many clients have asked me to do this). Please discuss your pets' needs with me and leave care instructions in some format, either on notes that I take after meeting with you or in writing while you are away, preferably in advance.
“Our fur kids always love Eliza’s visits. She takes the BEST care of them and our home while we are away and takes special care of our medical special needs Frenchie as though he were her own. Truly cannot recommend her highly enough. She’s a true professional!”

“Erika is by far the best animal sitter I have had! She sent me multiple pictures every visit and spent quality time with my babies. She gave them toys for their stockings on Christmas and made sure they felt lots of love. When a bad windstorm blew down a tree in my front yard she cleared it out of the driveway for me. Plus, when that same storm broke a window on my chicken coop, she found my chickens that escaped and fixed the window so they would stay safe. She vacuums and cleans my place after every visit so I come home to a clean home. She takes amazing care of my babies and treats them like her own. I highly recommend her to anyone needing care for their fur babies.”

“Katlynn was so great with our dogs. We added a puppy to our family last minute and she embraced it head on! Our dogs loved her and even watched her leave. I would trust her with my dogs any day of the week! She should be your go-to-gal for this area!”

About: I have worked in the animal care industry since I was 14 years old. I grew up with my mother whom bred and showed various different breeds of dogs as well as we kept a small mixed livestock farm. I have worked as an equine manager, I have worked at TSC, and currently am employed at a veterinary clinic where I was originally working with boarders. My skills include basic training, basic grooming, administering preventatives and medication (including insulin), providing effective and safe restraint, and I have taken multiple educational courses on animal welfare, behavior, and stress-free approach to handling. I work full time, but only mid day so I am more than capable of doing morning and afternoon visits as well as mid day on the weekends. I take care of animals the same way I would want to be cared for: with patience, kindness and love but above all safely. Working at a veterinary clinic I have learned a great amount about safe animal care (including with reactive animals).
About: Hi!! My name is Saskia and I was born and raised in Germany. In December 2021 I moved to the US, with my precious little dog Lady, to live with my husband. I grew up with dogs all my life, dogs all sizes and ages. There was not one time I didn’t have at least one dog around me. Until my Dachshund Lady passed at the age of 16 years in early 2023. She was my everything and I miss her dearly. This is why I appreciate Rover. I haven’t quite been ready to find a new fur baby for me yet but I have so much love and pats to give. I was house and dog sitting (and cat sitting!) while I traveled Australia for about 9 months in 2019-2020. It was the best time of my life getting, to do what I love most: traveling and spending time with dogs! I’m experienced with giving medication since I was dog sitting a dog with epilepsy for a couple months. And later I also had to give my dog Lady oral medication. My daughter (3 years) is very gentle and patient as well as understanding with animals of all kinds. She needs some time to warm up (as you might learn when we have a meet and greet) but she will quickly earn trust and is always excited to have a buddy to play with. If your fur baby likes it more quiet she will understand that as well and just give some gentle pats and cuddles. With me you will be sure I will always treat your fur baby as the precious being they are, they will be like just another family member to me. Dogs give us so much in life, it’s only fair to give it back. I am lucky to be able to be a stay at home mom to my 3 year old daughter. We are mostly home all day. If the weather allows we spend time outside in the yard or go down to the playground/park which is only 7 walking minutes away from my home. I personally love going for walks everyday, so if your doggo needs exercise and loves going for walks we are a great match! Your fur baby is welcome on the couch as well as on the bed if not directed otherwise. If you wish your dog to be crated at any time I can do that as well. I live in a rather quiet area with lots of greenery around. We have daily visitors on our porch such as squirrels, chipmunks, bunnies, birds and sometimes we are lucky to see deer in our backyard ☺️

I have experience caring for pets of all sizes and truly enjoy spending quality time with them—whether that’s going on walks, visiting the park, or watching them run around happily. Every pet in my care is treated with patience, respect, and genuine love, as if they were my own. I’m currently just stationed out here. Got some weekends off. But always willing to stop by after work if needed. But open schedule on the weekends I have provided care by stopping by and letting the fur animals out and feeding them and have stayed with the animals for a few hours at times.
About: Hi my name is Averi, I have been around animals my entire life but have the most experience with dogs and horses. I do have a charcoal lab of my own who is very spoiled and always looking for a friend. I recently got back from traveling abroad and am looking for a side job to back up my part time job! I have a 1 year old lab of my own so she gets 2 meals a day, plus plenty of exercise to tire her out at night. I make sure to take her on at least one big hike a week to make sure she is getting that experience, and am always taking her into public for socialization I treat others animals as if they were my own, I take pride that I treat animals very well and am always willing to do anything to make sure the owners is as comfortable as can be. I believe that in order to make an animal act right they need to feel comfortable and safe, which requires patience and a soft hand.
“Michele was wonderful with my, separation anxiety beagle Toby. She spent the day at my house, taking care of Toby even taking him for a Starbucks happy puppy ice cream. Toby and I will look forward to using Mechelle services again.”

“Dino was wonderful with our dogs and communication with us. Having never had anyone stay overnight with our dogs, Dino helped put our mind at ease, updating us multiple times through the day with pictures and videos Our dogs had a blast and were very well taken care of. Dino was very polite, punctual and our dogs have a new friend. We will definitely look for Dino for any future visits!”

About: We have three dogs who are more spoiled than our children. We dont like people, but we love animals 🤣. We love walking and playing, and so do our pups! Our babies are spoiled rotten and we can't help it. Our pups have their own doggie pool that they can use any time in the summer. We have tons of toys and one of our favorite things to do is just be home with them and de stress. We sometimes go to the dog park or take walks on the Black River Trail, too! We care for our own fur babies every day, having extra in the house is just an added bonus. Our animals are loved all day long, and we promise to deliver the same to yours. We have a large fully fenced in yard in a rural area, so we have lots of room for running! Our pups go in and out as often as they want. We do allow pets on the furniture, always! We do ask that younger pups are in a crate at night time unless they are exceptionally well behaved, for safety purposes. If your pup shows behavioral issues that make it difficult to maintain safety, such as biting or excessive aggressiveness, we will add on an extra charge to the booking. This is almost never an issue, and we are able to separate dogs as needed. When staying in our home, your pups safety is always our number one priority.
About: I’ve had at least one dog since I was a teenager. Raised them from puppies until seniors, making sure they were well loved and cared for. I’m currently working on but can be flexible to provide excellent care for your pet. The comfort and care of your pet will be my first priority. Having numerous pets, I know how important it is for them to maintain their routine in their own environment. Your pets will be cared for just like when you are there.

“Kylie was absolutely amazing with our dogs! She was able to give them their anxiety medication and actually spend a lot of time with them to make sure they were doing good! She sent lots of pictures and updates of their weekend, and followed all care instructions exactly. Letting someone into your home to care for your dogs is nerve wracking and stressful, but Kylie made it so easy for us!! We will definitely ask her to come back in the future!”

“Nicole is absolutely amazing!!! Took fantastic care of my Minnie girl, who had just come home from the hospital and been diagnosed with pancreatitis. My dog is active and Nicole kept her entertained all day while I was gone. I loved the picture updates. Nicole was a life saver and as a small business owner and a military spouse it can be difficult to find a doggy sitter. Our Minnie is our child and we our so grateful for Nicole, we will definitely be using her in the very near future. I highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies.”
