“Samantha was absolutely wonderful. We were very nervous about leaving our senior dog and very soon in to taking our little dog in we were good. Samantha really did an excellent job making sure he ate and giving him his medicine. We will definitely recommend Samantha to take care of your dog. We will be using Samantha again.”

“Dixie clearly loves taking care of dogs, and was a great host to Sunny for an overnight. Her place is large, and though it's unfenced, she keeps an eagle eye on her guests while allowing them to patrol, with the aid of a 50 ft leash. If we come back this way again, I'll be happy to sign Sunny up with Dixie again.”

“I have been very pleased with the service and communication from Ellen M. My older black lab seems very happy when I drop her off. The pictures and communication I receive is very reassuring.”

“Samantha was amazing! She was able to help me out last minute and was super communicative! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the pets she cares for. Highly recommended!”

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
“Kate was great with our 2 dogs' second experience with Rover. Our smaller one is an anxious rescue who takes a while to get comfortable. Kate was patient and understanding with her. I definitely recommend boarding with her.”

“Tim and Kathy are incredible people! They took such good care of our Caesar when we went away for the night. They sent pictures and sweet notes and we knew he was in the best of hands. If I could give 10 stars I would.”

“We left for our 4 day vacation a little nervous upon leaving our pup Jasper for the first time. As a rescue dog he is very nervous and trembles, especially around new people and environment. Heather was great with him. She kept us posted on his well-being by sending us pictures every so often. Although he was excited to see us, he was very calm and happy. I would highly recommend her and will certainly be using her again. Thank you heather for your care with our baby. Yolanda and Isaac”

“It appears Nicholas enjoyed his time with Mary too much! He has been moping around the house getting used to a home without more people and pets. It was great receiving daily pictures and the care couldn’t have been more loving. I will definitely try to book with Mary whenever I travel in the future.”

“Jeff was wonderful with Topher. He's got a very calm demeanor and seems to understand dogs very well. He watched him for several days and nights for us and kept us updated regularly.”

About: At an early age, I understood animal care to be a meaningful and important aspect of my life. Growing up in Texas, I often found great joy in caring for the animals around my grandparents farm (incidentally the roosters often found great joy in chasing me around said farm, which in retrospect was quite humorous). Of course, growing up with dogs and cats was also something I greatly cherished, as they all shaped my heart into something more loving, compassionate, and grateful. In my professional experience, I’ve co-managed a pet store, then went on to work in both general and emergency veterinary medicine. At this time, I am accepting reservations for drop-ins and walks. If your reservation requires special accommodations, or if you have additional inquiries related to availability, please feel free to message me. Safety, trust, and respect are paramount components to my ethos. For peace of mind, I am open to answering any questions that you may have, regarding myself or my background.

“Our dogs had the time of their lives with Sierra! She sent us pictures and videos every day. Our boys got tons of outside time and many new adventures while our family was on vacation. I will definitely be booking again for our next vacation!”

“Our dog Casey had a wonderful time with this provider! She was welcomed into the family making friends with the host children and dogs. They went on nice long walks each day and had outdoor play time. I would definitely recommend using Ema!”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kyle and Max! They took amazing care of our golden retriever, Harry, for five days and treated him like he was part of their family. From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. Kyle and Max kept Harry entertained, active, and happy with plenty of adventures, playtime, and attention. The photos and updates they sent gave us so much peace of mind and made it clear just how much love and care they were giving him. Harry came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that they took the time to get to know his personality and made sure he felt comfortable and loved while we were away. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, we highly recommend Kyle and Max. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did for Harry and would not hesitate to book with them again! Thank you both for giving Harry such a fun-filled and loving home away from home! He misses you already.🐾❤️”

“Destiny has a lovely home that is very practical for petsitting. She has zones and rooms that can be closed off. Her beagle and cat both did well with my cat, no one was traumatized. But the best of course is the loving family my pet enjoyed. They doted on him and tolerated all of his quirks. I felt like he was so well cared for.”

“Carol is wonderful!!Excellent care for our minature schnauzer . We received a picture with a note everyday . We called to check if she had any questions and she was very receptive and kind. Very safe clean environment . Beautiful back yard for walks . Carol is very knowledgeable about dogs!! Highly recommend !!”

“Amazing with our pups. Respectful of our requests. Our one dog recently had surgery and Dianna and Matthew were great with him and his needs. You also get great photos. We will definitely be using their services again in the future.”

“Sara was amazing! This was the first time I boarded my rescue and I was nervous to leave her. Sara put my mind at ease! We had a meet and greet, which went great! She has two other dogs and my tons of energy furbaby had a ball with her 11 month old. She has a huge "high" fenced in yard and chicken wire 3 feet below the fence, so dogs cannot dig their way out! She has a great set up! When I dropped Rosie off for vacation, Sara knew I was sad and nervous. She kept telling me it would be alright and promised she would keep an eye on my dog. Within in minutes of leaving, she sent me pictures and updates! I got daily pictures, videos and updates, which I looked forward to seeing! She put my mind at ease and both my pup and I enjoyed our vacations! Sara is a kind hearted and wonderful person. I would use her again in a heartbeat. If we lived closer, I would drop my 1 year old off more often. Sara is amazing! You will not be disappointed! Thank you!?”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Waterloo
This is the first time using Rover and using a sitter. What a great experience! Dixie is the BEST!!! Her property is back from the main road and lots of yard to have a sniffari and playtime! She has all kinds of dog toys , leashes, bowls, kinda like a day care. I really didn’t need to bring all the stuff I brought for my two dogs. Everyday she sent a text update with pictures or a video. That made me feel secure and happy that they were having a good time. By the end of the week my one dog didn’t want to leave he felt so comfortable. I would definitely re-book with Dixie. She makes sure your babies get everything they need from food , walks , play time , and snuggles. Thank you Dixie for taking care of my fur babies ,so happy we met! ❤️
