About: I have loved animals my whole life. growing up with dogs, cats, fish, and birds, I enjoy pets of all kinds! I have experience with both pet boarding and pet sitting! I have worked with several different families with multiple dog and feel totally comfortable with that. Going to the dog park is always fun but I know some dogs aren’t comfortable there. I also have lots of experience with cats and birds. My roommate is allergic to cats so they can’t stay at our house but I would be happy to come to yours. Walking pups is a great way to explore new neighborhoods. Through these kinds of experiences I have learned that it is always more fun to walk around and explore with a four legged friend. I work a pretty consistent schedule but I am lucky enough to be able to flex it. I can adjust it to meet your pups needs. I have a fenced in yard that I spend a lot of time in during the summer. There are no other dogs in the building
About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. I am pet CPR and first aid certified through Red Cross. I am a very cautious and risk-aware person, always mindful of keeping doors and gates shut and ensuring the environment I’m pet-sitting in is safe and secure.
About: Hi! I’m Courtney. I’ve always been the person who ends up spending more time with the pets than the people. I love getting to know every dog’s or cat’s personality, whether they’re playful, goofy, shy, or happiest snuggled up on the couch. Honestly, hanging out with animals is one of my favorite ways to spend a day. Friends and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether that means walks, playtime, belly rubs, or just keeping them company while you’re away, I’m happy to meet them where they’re most comfortable. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pet! I currently work, but I have a flexible schedule and can often adjust my hours to fit your pet’s needs. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, or overnight care, I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that keeps your pet comfortable and cared for. My biggest priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible, keep a close eye on them, and make sure they always have what they need. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, and while I haven’t had the opportunity to give injectable medications yet, I’m more than willing to learn if you’re able to show me your pet’s routine. Every animal is different, and I enjoy getting to know what helps each one feel the most comfortable so they can feel at home even while you’re away.

I would love to meet you and your pup—reach out today to schedule a Meet & Greet! 🐾 How Pet Care Fits Into My Routine 🐾 Because I manage my schedule carefully, your pets will receive consistent, predictable, and highly attentive care right on time. My weekly routine is designed to seamlessly accommodate the unique needs of both dogs and cats without rushing: • Morning Blocks (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM): I start my day by welcoming any Doggy Daycare guests and running my first round of morning cat drop-in visits. Pups get immediate outdoor bathroom breaks, fresh water, and breakfast according to your exact instructions. For kitties, I handle morning feedings, refresh water bowls, and scoop litters so they start their day fresh. • Mid-Day Breaks (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM): This is my peak window for active dog walking and mid-day drop-in visits. If your dog is staying with me for daycare or boarding, this is our dedicated backyard playtime block. If I am visiting your pet at your home, I arrive during these hours to break up their day with a solid 30-minute neighborhood walk, potty break, and lots of affection. • Evening Blocks (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM): This is wrap-up time! Daycare pups are picked up by their owners, and I conduct my second round of evening cat check-ins for dinner feedings. Boarding guests get their evening meals, followed by a wind-down routine of couch cuddles and a final yard let-out before bedtime. To keep your routine stress-free while you are away, I send a comprehensive daily update between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM featuring 3 to 4 high-quality photos and videos. This ensures you know exactly how much fun your pet is having without having to check your phone constantly! 🔒 Safety & Care Standards First Whether your pet is staying at my home or I am visiting yours, their safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a completely secure environment with strict supervision, separate feeding stations, and dedicated spaces for rest. If your pup is a runner, rest assured that doors and gates remain locked at all times. In your home, I treat your property with the utmost respect. I follow all security, key, and alarm protocols perfectly, ensuring your home is locked up tight after every visit. For cat drop-ins, litter boxes are scooped daily, and food areas are kept tidy. For dogs, walks are tracked securely via the app so you can see exactly where we traveled!

“Shylina, Shyliiinaaa! Top notch! We are so blessed and thankful to have found such a good person to check in on our fur baby! We can’t sing her phrases enough! Our cat has diabetes and needs a little extra care and attention around feeding time. Shylina gave us peace of mind while away for one of his feedings & injection. Binx was so well taken care of, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Shylina gave us a full report and sent pics of Binx. The drop in visit went without hitch and we couldn’t be more happy. Shylina is so professional and good with our pet. She is a true animal lover. Honestly, in terms of finding a pet sitter it’s more of a question of: Does she have time and want to come back than, would we have her back? We wouldn’t hesitate. Again, we are grateful to have found someone trustworthy and who cares about our pet. 😆 Shylina is the best! Thank you Shylina!”

“I have a special needs senior dog and had a last minute emergency. Breanca was available to drop in and check on my dogs. It was so very convenient and she sent me pictures and videos and made me feel at ease. :) 5 stars”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Waterford
Ada did an OUTSTANDING job taking care of our cats and home when we were away! Our boys were so well cared for, and I can tell from all the photos that they treated our cats like they were their own! We were in a bind when a friend told us last minute they could no longer watch our cats while we were on vacation for two weeks, and Ada was just what we needed. They were respectful, attentive, and we felt comfortable having them in our home while we were gone to look after our cats. We left a laundry list of instructions and weird little tidbits, and they knew just how to take care of everything the way we would. They paid special attention to details and had a ton of experience caring for all kinds of pets, ages, and medical situations which made us feel good. They also very kindly helped us with extras like grabbing our mail and sending us photos of our house when one of the doors was damaged (not by them). I seriously cannot recommend Ada enough! We will gladly be using them again for future sitting services.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins.
