About: I've spent my entire life taking care of pets. I come from a family animal lovers, so I've spent a lot of time around animals. Although I love pets of all kinds, shapes and ages, I find I have special bonds with older dogs and snuggly cats. I grew up with 2 dogs and 2 cats and they were my constant companions. I'm comfortable giving medications as long as I am provided with detailed instructions. I appreciate detailed notes about how to care for your pet when more then the basics are needed. I look forward to taking care of your pet and loving them as much as you do. I work my regular job from 6am to 3pm, but when i come home i love to play with my little boy, Meeko. Meeko is a 13 year old Bengal that we rescued in 2014. He was abandoned and we spent a lot of time making him comfortable with us. Now he's the most loving boy. Meeko gets dry food throughout the day and wet food for dinner. He requires his water getting changed out multiple times a day, which we provide from his favorite source, the shower. For now, I am only offering to go to the clients house and not taking them into my home. My cat has some health issues and I don't like to cause him stress by inviting other pets into our home. but I do live next to a very nice park for walking around and I live near a dog park. i love going on walks with dogs and playing fetch. Running around them them and getting out their energy is definitely a goal i reach for.

About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
