“Dorothy was great - she and her family made Bruno feel very welcome and secure and kept us updated while we were away. He has a special diet and daily medication and she was great with giving that to him. Definitely will book again.”
“We are so grateful for Michael! This was the second time he watched our three dogs in his home for the week, and they had an absolute blast. They were so excited to be back for another stay, and we were completely stress-free knowing they were being loved and cared for like family. Great communication, plenty of photo updates, and so much playtime for our pups. We feel so lucky to have found the perfect home away from home for our fur babies. Highly recommend!”

“Phenomenal care! Amber is a wonderful sitter, very caring, kind, empathetic and truly loves dogs. My Dante got a lot of love and attention. Amber communicated well, plenty of updates, pictures and videos. Best care for your furry kiddo! Highly recommend Amber as your sitter.”

“Summer is the best of the best. She took such good care of our two pups and when one of our pups arthritis started to act up, she loved him and took care of him like he was her own. She was absolutely incredible and we will most certainly be rebooking and I would highly recommend Summer to watch anyone’s pups.”

“Karyn was absolutely terrific. My puppy was extremely comfortable with her. Karyn treated him as if he was hers. Sent many pictures and kept me informed about Fitzy several times a day. She has a great fenced in yard which gave my dog freedom to run. Fitzy and her dog got along well. Would highly recommend her. Can’t say enough of good things about this experience.”

“Colette was absolutely wonderful. Winnie loved her! Her fenced in backyard is perfect for a small dog who loves to feel “free”! She sent us multiple photos and updates. We’d definitely use her again!”

“Josie loves dogs and took great care of our Pip. The family made Pip feel good about spending the weekend with them and seemed to love her, even forgiving her for getting food off the counter. 😬 we feel fortunate to have found them.”

“Our dog just stayed with Patti and family and had an amazing time! Patti’s daily messages and photos were great, and reassuring. It was clear to us that she was being well cared for and that our dog was in a knowledgeable, experienced and caring home. We’ve already booked again and will continue to do so! Thank you, Patti!”

“This was our first time leaving Moxie alone for more than one night and without us close by. HE did so well and he had such a great time!!! I could tell by how worn out he was when we got home!!! :) James and Mallory were awesome with all my check ins on how he was doing and for sending videos and pictures. I've already booked them for our next vacation next month.”

About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. I understand different dogs have different needs and I will cater to each pup as needed.

“Austin was great! It was our first time and Brody had the best time. We will absolutely be using him again!! He was awesome with all the dogs and they were truly a part of his family!”

“Absolutely great experience, consistent communication, and really just a pleasant experience! We definitely highly recommend and we will be using Novlette again!”

“Arrow had a wonderful time staying with Karl. We had a meet and greet which was very professional and welcoming, and Arrow got to meet Karl's (super sweet) dogs while I checked out the accommodations and shared details about Arrow's needs. Drop off and pick up or a breeze and while we were away we got plenty of pictures of our boy having fun. I recommend this sitter.”

“Our senior rescue pup, Blake, had another great stay with Kristin! Roger and I are so happy to have found someone who truly loves dogs and provides such a safe and enriching environment for the "pack." Blake loves being around other dogs and he is very comfortable being at Kristin's home. Highly recommend!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
