“Winston had a wonderful day with his new friends James, his wife De and their dogs Charlee and Chloe. James did everything we could ask for and more to make Winston's stay a success. We received lots of photos throughout the day showing all the fun Winston was having. That allowed my wife and I to enjoy our day together knowing Winston was being well cared for. This was the first time we used Rover.com and it was a great experience. We will definitely be booking with James again.”

“I had the pleasure of having Valeria watch my fur baby, and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. She was dependable, communicative, and clearly experienced with dogs. My pup was well cared for, happy, and calm when I got back which tells me everything I need to know. Thank You again”

“I'm so glad that I found Linda on Rover. She watched my puppy, Morris, on a Saturday afternoon, and he had such a good time! He came home so tired from playing all day, which was exactly what he needed. I highly recommend Linda and will be booking another stay soon.”

“Took me and my baby as a last minute add on for daycare and we've been back every day since! So much space for my dog to run around and she comes home ready to sleep every single time! Patti and Matt are awesome. Everyone should book here for daycare or boarding because they'll take great care of your fur babies like they're their own.”

“Delmina was amazing. I received details about the house and fenced yard. I was updated all day with photos and detailed texts. I will definitely be a repeat customer!”

About: Hello! I’m Logan and I live in Loganville, Georgia. I’ve been around animals my whole life. I have previously worked at a dog and cat kennel in Loganville for 3 years and have been a Rover user for around 8 years while also doing private caregiving for many pets throughout my life from Dogs/Cats, Birds, Horses and Goats, Chickens, Reptiles..You name it! When it comes to my property, I have a trail in the woods behind my home that my family has cleared. I also have a large fenced in backyard that dogs love! Furthermore, I am experienced with administering medications to many different kinds of animals. Personally, animals speak to my soul and are the best stress relievers and that’s why I love my job. I hope I can be of assistance to those who love their furry family members and I am always available to chat or you can call me at anytime through the Rover app. I have just recently graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with a History Degree. I am currently looking to begin a career so until then, I will be at the house everyday to care for client’s pets. I have experience caring for all kinds of pets and I have over an acre of land. A portion of my land is completely fenced in for pets to run around in. I care for my client’s pets by feeding, playing with, walking/running/exercising with pets and making sure they have everything the need. Overall it’s a fun time with all furry friends while also maintaining proper care and abiding by any requests that clients have provided.
“Ariana was super respectful and always responsive. If you’re looking for a sitter who responds, replies, shares updates, shared pictures. Pick her! She’s absolutely amazing! She was very sweet and took excellent care of Teddy. I think Teddy very much enjoyed his stay with her.”

About: *Update: In regards to the new weekly feature, I can only do so in YOUR home. I am a cat person but I also love dogs. I'm an equal opportunist lol . I've taken care of cats, dogs, even hamsters, fish and plants for neighbors, friends, family and later on for clients through apps like these. I started taking care of pets at age 10 which was around the same time I got my cat, Allegra. I loved her like my own child. We would even take walks together. She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. My home is not open to animals at the moment and I can sincerely vouch that I will treat your home respectfully like mine or anyone else's. I'm also fully vaccinated and take Covid seriously. I don't mind wearing a mask for long hours or at all and will abide by any covid restrictions you personally have. My goal is to build a trusting relationship and to have more repeat clientele!
“This was Kings second time seeing Mika but first time at her place. he went right to her and never looked back at me. Made my heart smile because I knew he was in good hands. She sent pics of him throughout the day. He had a ball and made a new pup friend. Thanks again Mika. We can’t wait to see you again soon!”

“My fur baby wagged his tail as he went into the house and he wagged his tail as he got into the car.. he was exhausted from a great day. Thank you Felicia!!”

“Butterscotch absolutely loves Mary Jane. He looks forward to going to visit her every time. He loves Nala, who is his big sister and protector? This is a great place to bring your little fur baby.”

About: At 28 Years Old, I have nearly always had a dog living with me. 8 dogs have been apart of my life in the past and currently 4 reside in our large loving home. Nearly every single one of my dogs have been rescued and cared for, where I try my best to change my own routine to better fit their needs rather than trying to change them to fit my own. In the past years I have boarded relatives' dogs at my own home and would like to continue helping dog parents with any dog care they might need. Because I've had so many dogs in my life, I have had to experience both the beginning and end of their lives. I especially enjoy giving extra care to senior dogs to make sure they are most comfortable in the golden age of their lives. I am working only part time so I have plenty of time to give your dogs as little or as much attention as you need. My schedule is extremely flexible. Weekends or Weekdays are perfect for me. My home sits on a hilly and forested 3 acres, with fenced in portions as well as a long circular driveway perfect for walks! In the fenced area, there is a pool perfect for any water loving dog in the summer! There is also an enclosed run of chickens that are unbothered by any rambunctious and curious dogs. Currently we have 4 dogs, one an outdoor Rottweiler dog that is all too happy to play with another dog, but with her own separated fenced in area. We have 4 indoor dogs, 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Chihuahua. All of them have shown friendly tendencies to unfamiliar dogs of similar size. They have had mixed feelings over larger dogs and I know that not all dogs enjoy the company of others. Should your own dog be more comfortable being alone and dislike other dogs, our house is set up in a way that your own dog can have their own private space away from my dogs and still get whatever attention is needed while still allowing my own dogs ample space.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 1,878 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Walnut Grove. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Walnut Grove commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
