About: I have always loved dogs and have 2 of my own! As a kid in middle school and high school I was the "neighborhood dog walker" and would help people who didn't have time to walk their dogs every day. Since then I have done check-ins, pet-sit at clients homes, and walk dogs throughout the day for over 5 years. I am a server at a local restaurant at night, which leaves my days wide open. I work 5 nights a week right now (sometimes less) and have plenty of time during the day to take care of your fur-babies! About: I owned pets my entire life, i had two small dogs that i love. i trained my puppy different commands and my other dog was a senior dog she lived until 19ish years maybe 20. i volunteer at different animal shelters occasionally. I love cats and dogs they’re my favorite i am currently working part time at a coffee shop, my hours are pretty flexible and i am in college. so i still have a flexible schedule but there will be times during the day i wont be able to check in. and i will have to go back and forth throughout the day, longest amount of hours id be gone is probably around 4. i live in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets, so i would have to stop by clients homes if they allow me and would prefer that. I would happily bring your pets to a park, or let them stay with me for a couple hours but i can’t have them stay overnight.

About: I am a professional dog groomer who loves animals more than anything. my favorite thing is to be around any type of animal. I am also trained in animal psychology. I’ve worked with a wide range of breeds from small Shih Tzu’s to energetic Australian shepherds and many in between. I understand that each dog has unique needs. They’ll enjoy a fully fenced backyard for safe playtime, along with daily walks, or games of fetch tailored to their energy level and preferences. There are no children or other pets in the home, allowing for a calm, focused environment, where your dog can feel comfortable, secure, and get the attention they need. I am an elementary school teacher. I am available all summer and holidays. My holiday breaks are longer than usual due to my teaching schedule. I have a fully fenced in backyard. I recently lost my 18 year-old Shih Tzu. So there are no other dogs in the home. Your dog will receive my undivided attention. I will walk your dog daily and play fetch in the backyard. I dont have any official training in veterinary practices, but I do feel I do know quite a bit of taking care of animals and making them feel safe and loved . I have two beagles I helped my father raise after we got them from a rescue and they are the best part of my life. I always try to be with the animal (because as much is i love em sometimes they can get into trouble if not watched) I always make sure I know if foods are safe for animals first off no matter what if I dont know. Even if its treats honestly I still like to read for a second or two. Always make sure areas are safe too, make sure things are picked up so nothing can be grabbed by a doggo, and also if im letting them out to go potty I always keep track of where they are especially at night because things happen to fences all the time and dogs are smart.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
