This included several visits to a vet, where she also, as it turned out, had double ear infections. Treatment protocol required both topical and oral medications twice daily. I recorded an audio of the summary diagnosis from the vet and shared this with her humans, as well as regular updates and photos of the healing progress. Simultaneously, I was asked to move her to a balanced raw diet (like that of my own dog), and which required more effort but that was entirely inline with what I'm already accustomed.

About: Grew up taking care of cats and dogs. I understand what it takes to make sure they feel loved and appreciated especially when their owner is away I usually start the day with my own fur babies and I’m usually open most of the day so I could easily slip in sitting, and looking out for your fur babies too. I priorities their needs like food, water and quality time. Then if I need to groom them I will, clean their beds/litter boxes and make sure their living space is clean.

About: I’m a stay at home mom to 5 kids and a cat, and have been a dog breeder for 7 years. I am *very* experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages for peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I spend most of my time at home. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. I strive to keep each dog’s routine as close to home as possible and will make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while your pet is in my care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my highest priorities. I have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play under supervision. With years of experience as a former dog breeder, I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs, including administering medications when needed. I always introduce dogs carefully, monitor play closely, and can separate pets if needed to ensure everyone is safe and comfortable. My home is a calm, loving environment where your dog will be treated like part of the family. For overnights, I can provide the kennel and treats however if they feel more comfortable in using their own, I have a designated spot in the living room for them to be close by throughout the night. If they enjoy sleeping by me on my bed I am more than okay with that as well.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was very young, including watching neighbors dogs while they were away. More recently during my first year of college I walked two borzois a few times a week during the summer. I also stayed overnight taking care of a friend’s lab for an entire week. I am currently not working as I just applied to physician assistant programs, and am waiting to hear back. I am available every day of the week, but most likely not weekends. I have a car so I am able to transport your pets if needed. I am willing to drive to client’s homes to care for pets since I unfortunately am not allowed pets in my apartment.
About: I grew up with a spunky black lab who lived to be 16 years old. Now I get to live with my sibling and my dog-niece who I also hope lives a long, healthy, happy life! We've been housemates for a few years now. Gently combing her curly hair is my favorite. I have an adaptable flow where I can give a pet activity if they are young and need it, or take it easy if they are older. I work with a flexible schedule from my laptop between Salt Lake County and Utah County, so I can adapt to your needs too! I like to first ask what schedule or routine your pet is used to and see how closely I can match that and their temperament. I'm used to an easeful morning, getting sun during lunch, and then some other kind of outing later in the evening even if it's just a walk. I like to try to make it to a team meeting Thursdays and Fridays in Salt Lake. I can time it so I'm not gone for long, or I can reschedule meetings depending on the circumstances, commute, animal temperament, etc. I'm happy to come to your place or host your pet at mine. I'm in a condo so I'll limit my boarding services to one pet at a time. If it's possible for me to come to you and get acquainted with your pet before overnight stays, I'd prefer that for more easeful transitions. If you come to my place, my apartment complex has green spaces and waste bag dispensaries distributed throughout the property where I walk my dog-niece in the evening. But during the day the dog is away with my sibling and I'm all alone. So your pet will have my attention. I'll ensure pets have their own separate, undisturbed sleeping space. If I come to your space, then of course your pet will be most familiar and cozy.

I’m also great at reading dogs’ behavior and adjusting to their energy level, whether they need playtime or a calmer environment. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and feel completely comfortable while you’re away.

I have a large area in my home where animals can relax with sunlight, houseplants, and water. For care in your home, I’m happy to follow whatever protocols you have established. Nothing is too niche, trust me. My childhood dog wouldn't eat his dinner unless I 'sprinkled special flavour powder' (I just mimed grabbing something from the cupboard) over his food. It's important to me that you and your loved one's routine is maintained as much as possible.
