“Katie provided wonderful care for our dog at her residence while we were away. She took the time to get to know myself and my dog prior to her stay. It was our lab's first time boarding and Katie sent updates regularly throughout the day which helped ease the transition. Katie's professionalism, passion and love for the animals was evident throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend!”

“Scott continues to do an amazing job as a dog sitter for our dog Odysseus. Our dog has surgery and he is more anxious now. I was nervous about him staying someplace overnight again but we trust Scott and again he did not disappoint. He is so caring about animals in general. Shows so much compassion and love. Honestly, if you need a sitter or care in the area for your pets Scott is it! Thank you so much Scott!”

“Jaylene was very friendly, communicative and accommodating of our needs from day one. Our dog had plenty of space to chill in and outside the house in addition to getting long walks with Jaylene. Highly recommend Jaylene!”

“Polina was our first experience using Rover and we couldn't be happier. Our dog was safe with Polina and he was clearly treated as one of the family. We received multple pictures each day of him having a great time. She got creative when he wouldn't eat the first night. When we picked him up, her genuine affection for him was evident. We will definitely choose Polina to care for our teasured pet again.”

About: I will give your dog(s) my undivided attention. They will be fed and taken for walks. I will engage with them throughout the day, as I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I will care for them just like they were my own pet. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how much they mean to their families. In case of an emergency at home or work, I will provide the necessary care for your dogs. I have a unique bond with every dog I meet and truly enjoy their company, ensuring they receive plenty of affection. In the past, I have cared for my family's dogs, feeding and walking them nearly every day. I am knowledgeable about how to handle dogs safely. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to dog-sit and walk the dogs entrusted to my care. Pet caring is one of my passion because they bring so much joy to our lives. With this being said after work I do appreciate the love my fur babies give me. I love to play and run with fur babies and I also get my weekly exercise in! I have a yard that they can run freely in. They will have access to my balcony for when they need cooling and some quiet.
“We left our pup with Joe, Joanne, and family for a week. They provided us with frequent updates/pictures and gave Violet lots of love and snuggles. We would 100% use them again in the future.”

“Maria is hands down the best Dogsitter I’ve ever had! She treated my dog as if he were her own and I know that because she would keep constant contact and share many stories. She would tell me of all the cute little things he does and share pics. They were the same kinds of stories and pictures I share with my own friends and family! She is a genuine, kind and very intelligent woman and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their dog treated like family. Thanks Maria!!”

“Jake truly knows how to treat the pups. The pictures I received during Dublin’s stay with them almost brought a tear to my eye. He was having so much fun I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. Fantastic sitter, walker, story time reader. Your dog will be in heaving staying with this guy!!!!!!! Recommend him 10000000%”
“Max arrived an earthquake in an eclipse while in her care. Everything went wonderfully. He's such a sweet dog and had such a good time with all the other dogs. Everything really well. We're so happy to have our little dog back in such good condition.”

“My dog always has a happy, fun and safe time at Jahada-Heaven’s house. She has a big heart for dogs and takes extra good care of them. I will always use her services and recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter.”

“June is wonderful. She took care of our 7 year old Old English Sheepdog Eva for four weeks while we were on a family trip. Eva liked her right away, as soon as they met. June was very patient with her during the first few days after we left, helping her to feel comfortable. Eva quickly learned she is in good hands and enjoyed her stay very much. June sent us photos and updates every day. We have finally found a perfect home away from home for her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wallpack Center
I had scheduled my vet recommended employee for pet sitting. The first time, she didn't show up, and I was on a train to NYC. Months later, again with advance notice, she couldn't stop by for a senior dog update. Enter Bobby! Willing to travel from NJ, do a paid meet and greet because there are four mini dachshunds. Immediate pick up on the quirks with each around meals. The age range from 15 to 2 years old. All on short notice. Everything positive from the dogs' reviews. And he was able to do it again when another doctor's office finally got back to me. If he can do all of this, why are you still scrolling through pet care options when you can choose Bobby/Robert?

As of November 2026, there are 403 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Wallpack Center. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
97% of sitters in Wallpack Center can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wallpack Center home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wallpack Center.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wallpack Center sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
