About: I have had pets as part of my family my whole life. I treat each one I meet like they are my own and have provided care for friends and family throughout the years. During college I helped pet sitting future guiding eyes for the blind dogs. My current dog is now a senior at 11 yo American Bully. We have struggled with allergies since the day I adopted him at 10 months old. I know how to pay extra attention to skin and ear and can administer oral or topically meds. I work remote and have a flexible schedule. During your busy days I can provide drop ins for a bathroom breaks, play time, extra cuddles, and/or a walk. When I’m with your pets and in their space I will provide a safe and kind environment. They should never feel uncomfortable or nervous. As my dog has aged he has become more cautious, causing me to have to be more aware and respectful of the situations he’s in.

“Ashlee did a great job helping to wear out out dog during the day. She arrived when expected and always sent a picture from the walk. And she was flexible with the number and duration of the walks needed. I'll be happy to have her help out in the future.”

About: Hi, I'm Meredith! I am an experienced, caring, and trustworthy petsitter. But don't take my word for it! Here's what others have said: "Meredith truly cared about my pets, and I felt completely at ease being away. As someone who’s very picky about who takes care of my dogs, I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter." "Meredith brought peace of mind, warmth, and reliability to our home. I’d trust her with our pets anytime." "Her calm energy and loving nature were exactly what our anxious rescue needed." "Meredith was fantastic. She cared for our home and animals as if they were her own." I’d love the opportunity to care for YOUR pets and your home! Animals have always been a central part of my life. I grew up in a house full of beloved cats and dogs, and I’ve raised several pets of my own as an adult, so caring for animals is truly second nature. I started pet sitting professionally in my 20s and recently returned to it with renewed passion and dedication. I now have over 7 years of direct pet-sitting experience and a lifetime of hands-on care with animals of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. As a responsible, organized, and nurturing high school English teacher with 20 years in the classroom, I bring calm attentiveness and excellent communication to every sit. I’m also a devoted mom to two kind-hearted, respectful animal lovers (ages 8 and 11), who may occasionally accompany me depending on the arrangement. If they do, rest assured they are gentle, supervised, and bring extra love to the experience. Whether it's administering medication to a senior pet, giving special attention to a rescue, or sticking to your pet’s unique routines and needs, I approach every sit with genuine care and commitment. I’m also experienced in basic training, gentle leash walking, and giving animals the calm, consistent presence they need to feel safe. If you have houseplants, I’ve got you covered there, too. I worked in my family’s garden center for years and enjoy keeping plants healthy and thriving. While I’m newer to this platform, I take each sit seriously and treat every home and pet with the utmost respect. I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs of any kind, and I always bring my own groceries and supplies. Communication is clear before, during, and after the stay, and you'll receive regular updates to give you peace of mind. I’m in a meaningful season of transition and using this time to do something I genuinely enjoy: caring for animals while exploring new places. This work blends my love of travel and nurturing in a way that reflects my values. If you feel we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect virtually or in person, when possible. Looking forward to meeting you and your beloved companions! Pet care is a natural, joyful part of my everyday rhythm. As a longtime teacher and mom, I’m used to creating routines that are structured yet flexible, making it easy to adapt to the unique needs of each pet and home. Whether it’s morning walks, medication schedules, mealtime routines, or play and snuggle time, I build my days around ensuring animals feel safe, loved, and cared for. Because I’m in a season of life where I have more flexibility, I’m able to be fully present with the pets I care for and enjoy giving them plenty of attention, consistency, and calm companionship throughout the day. It’s more than just a task in my routine; it’s a grounding and fulfilling part of my life that I genuinely enjoy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the routines and environment your pet already knows and loves. I follow all instructions closely, whether that means administering medications, preparing special meals, sticking to walk schedules, or providing quiet companionship. I aim to create a calm, consistent atmosphere that feels safe and nurturing, so your pet can relax while you're away. Also, I treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. I’m clean, organized, and attentive to details, and I always communicate clearly throughout the sit to keep you informed and at ease. If my well-behaved, animal-loving children (ages 8 and 11) accompany me, it’s only with prior agreement, and they are gentle, respectful, and supervised at all times. Above all, I care for each animal as if they were my own, with patience, love, and a genuine commitment to their well-being.

Ever since her brother got a therapy dog, when she was very young, she has been very involved with dog training and their care. You couldn't find a more loving, and informed, caregiver for "man's best friend' (cats, guinea pigs and birds too)”
