About: Hi there! I’m a proud dog mom to Millie, my 6-year-old German Shepherd mix, and I bring over 15 years of experience in pet care. I have a natural connection with dogs and cats and truly love all animals. What sets me apart is my flexibility—I work remotely, so your pet will have plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or following specific routines, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! I currently work remote so I have plenty of time to care for pets. That also makes me available on the weekdays and weekends for boarding Whether in my home or yours, I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for your pet. I provide walks around the neighborhood and stick to a schedule when needed.
“Brianna was great with my pups and gave them the tlc they needed while I was away. She was on time for drop ins and communicated very well. I will be using her services again and def recommend her.”

“We're thankful for Ms Leylah's help as this is our 2nd time using her for an extended amount of time. Great with our fur babies, great communication and most important, very reliable. Thank you 😊”

“Petra did an awesome job with our pups. As this was our first experience together, she came by a couple of times before our scheduled day so that she was totally familiar with Daisy and Chico's routine. She showed great empathy toward Daisy, who experiences great anxiety during rain events. She put the TV on for her in hopes some of the noice would be a bit of distraction. All in all the pups were well cared for, received all medications and seemed generally happy when we returned”

About: •Dog walking: I have two energetic Labrador Retrievers . Saying so I have great patience with being pulled to smell plants or even the excitement of seeing other people being pulled. So while away you can be comforted knowing your dog isn’t being jerked or punished for just being a dog. They’ll have enough time to get some of that crazy or little energy they do have. So when you arrive home you can smile knowing they got a little adventure out of their day. •Dog sitting/Check-ins: It’s nerve wrecking trusting someone with your best friend. Having my own two dogs I would treat your baby with highest quality of care. Plenty of bathroom breaks, with time to get a breath of fresh air from being inside. Time devoted for playtime to keep your best friend busy so there will be little time for any accidents. I am currently work from home full-time with extra time in-between my schedule. I have plenty of time to do drop in visits to give your fur babies the care they need. So your time apart is less stressful on you and as well as them while missing you. Care in client home: You are trusting me to come into your home and take care of your loved one. I will give your pet the upmost respect and love you’d give. I know personally how stressful it can be wondering if someone is giving your pet enough water or being fed properly. I want to make this time apart easy on the both of you. I have such a high expectation for those who watch my dogs so i want to give your pets the best care possible. In my home care: While not being in your pets comfort zone away in a different spot. I can promise they will get plenty of love and comfort. I allow my dogs on my couch where they get plenty of cuddles as well as in my bed. They do sleep with me off and on. I know it can be a little hesitant with a little one around. But I make sure my daughter respects pets boundaries and does not crawl all over them or put them into an uneasy situation.

“She was really great with my Emi and kept me updated by sending pictures everyday. She also took her on walks and paid attention to how hot it is outside so that my puppy doesn’t overheat. She was very attentive and would definitely book again!”

“Stephanie has been caring for our three dogs for some time, and she has consistently been wonderful with them. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals. During our most recent trip, our camera caught a chicken escaping, and Stephanie went above and beyond by safely catching the chicken and bringing her back home. We are extremely grateful for her exceptional care and dedication.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From the very beginning, Taylor’s communication was clear, professional, and reassuring. Leaving my boys for six days can be stressful, but I felt completely at ease knowing our boys were in such capable and caring hands. Throughout the stay, I received consistent updates, including photos and messages that showed just how happy and well cared for our boys were. It was evident that Taylor took the time to understand my boys’ routine, personality, and needs. Whether it was feeding, playtime, or just providing comfort, she handled them with attention and genuine care. I highly recommend Taylor's services to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible, and compassionate dog sitter. I will definitely be booking again!”

“Chackryia did such a wonderful job caring for my cats! She was communicative about any concerns she had and it made me feel safe entrusting the care of my cats with her. Her photos and videos showed just how much attention she put into making sure that my cats felt comfortable around her. She showed up on time and did exactly what I had asked!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Walker Place
I had a great experience with Christina. She was friendly, flexible and accommodating throughout the entire booking. Most importantly, she took great care of my anxious pup. She provided plenty of updates that gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my baby's well-being. I would absolutely book with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

We originally had Valeria scheduled for a later date, but had an emergency and she was able to come that day, we have never used a pet sitting app before nor have we ever had a pet sitter, however we were very impressed and appreciative of Valerias professionalism, thoroughness, and attention to details. The fact that she was able to save us in this time of need with a emergency drop in visit we are very appreciative and would recommend her to others.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
