About: I’ve had animals since I was born. Once I moved out of my parents, I instantly got animals of my own. I went to Texas last year to get my puppy, Chase. He’s now a year old pit bull terrier mix who now knows how to speak on command, back up, and many more tricks! I also have an Australian cattle dog that I’ve trained the legendary “bang” trick with a follow up of her playing dead. I occasionally am busy in the mornings until 2pm, just check in with me and I’ll let you know if I can make it or not! I currently live in a house with 2 dogs and 2 cats. They all get along perfectly and we go to a fenced in dog park regularly to get lots of play time. (It’s usually just us there)
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have two dogs and three cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable managing multiple pets, different temperaments, and busy routines. I also work full-time as a nurse, which means I’m highly dependable, detail-oriented, and trained to stay calm in any situation. I’m experienced with administering medications, following specific care instructions, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. Whether your pet needs a reliable walk, drop-in visit, or extra attention while you’re away, I’ll treat them like my own—safe, loved, and well cared for. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m currently off for the summer (I work as a school nurse during the year), so I have very open availability for walks, drop-ins, and extended care. During the school year, I still offer consistent morning, evening, and weekend availability, making me a great fit for ongoing or repeat care needs. Your pet will be treated like part of the family in my home! I have a full, happy pack of my own—3 cats and 2 dogs—who all get along wonderfully and love to play. Because of that, I’m very experienced in managing a multi-pet household and making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and included. My home is stocked with plenty of toys, cozy spots for relaxing, and all the pet supplies needed to keep tails wagging and whiskers happy. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a quieter space to unwind. You can expect lots of supervised playtime, affection, and a clean, pet-friendly environment. I treat every animal as if they were my own and make sure they get the care, attention, and love they deserve while you’re away.
About: Since I was born our family has had dogs in our house. I grew up with a Sharpei, a Border Collie-German Shepherd mix, and Pit mix; all rescues from local animal shelters and humane societies. Each of them had completely unique personalities, from being protective, to extremely energetic, and dealing with anxiety, I understand how each dog, and owner, embodies a unique relationship. I have helped dog sit for our neighbors in the past and take have taken dogs out for walks during the day when they have to work long hours. I am open to all breeds, ages, and energy levels. I am a professional hockey player, and just finished my first full pro season, so the summer is considered my off-season. I still have morning commitments to my sport so working with Rover works around my odd work hours and fills in the rest of my day. I am extremely active, and can be the same way with dogs looking to get their exercise in for the day as well. I am available between the early afternoon hours through the evening Mon-Fri, but visits outside of that time frame or on the weekends can be worked out as well ahead of time. My first goal is to make your pet feel safe and comfortable with me to make sure they enjoy the experience of spending some of their day with me. My goal is to have positive experiences for both your dog and myself. I understand some dogs can be nervous or have specific habits, so I will follow any instructions given to me on how to properly care for your dog. Whether that is taking them out to exercise, proper ways to give them food, as well as ways to help them feel more comfortable during my visits. My parents’ dog, Marcel, is a pit-mix rescue who has anxiety and very specific eating habits that we have catered to daily over the past several years, so I understand the uniqueness of each dog and situation.
About: I have volunteered at my local humane society for over a decade and have been involved in animal rescue since college. I am a pet mama to 3 rescue dogs and a Siamese cat. I have also worked with dogs who have physical disabilities and medical conditions. I am on a semester-long sabbatical from my academic position and now have a very flexible schedule from January-August 2022. I will be unavailable Monday afternoons and all-day Tuesdays. I am used to long walks with my dogs and enjoy working with a range of personalities, particularly the shy dogs. My dogs are used to being crated at night and I am comfortable leashing up, harnessing, and crating dogs.

About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.
About: I have 2 dogs and love talking them on walks during the week. I’ve also volunteered at the humane society helping to care for the animals. I work part time at Kwik Trip during the week from 9 am until 12 pm so I’m available to walk dogs anytime after 12 pm during the week. I don’t work on the weekend but anytime after 12 pm works best for me to walk dogs on the weekend. I have 2 dogs and they love other dogs. There’s a dog park in Green Bay that I visit and a trail in Green Bay that I love walking my dogs on.
About: We have experience with aggressive dogs, training dogs, administering medication, excellent communication, attention to detail, and lots of love in whatever way best suits the pet! Starting August 1st I will be around the house just leaving to get kids from school M-F. My husband works from home and we have 3 responsible teenagers that assist (14,16,17) your pets will always have someone around and attending to their needs. I have a fenced yard, a 5 year old husky mix who is super submissive and gentle, a cat who can handle himself and will either play with your dog or hide and watch from a safe distance :). We have had fosters before and if there is any cat to have around your dog it’s him! We love going for walks, playing fetch, tug of war, walks, or just cuddles! Whatever your animal is up for!

About: Hi, I'm Melissa! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. Whether your furbaby is a social butterfly or a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle approach, I have the intuitive skills to make them feel safe and loved. When I’m not caring for your pets, I’m hanging out with my own senior "puppy," a 9-year-old dog named Alba (pictured with me!), and my 14-year-old "kitten." I love house-sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking, and my ultimate goal is to give you total peace of mind while you're away. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! With over a decade of professional animal facility experience and a huge heart for all creatures, I pride myself on being the next best thing to you when you’re away. I am fully backed by Rover and prioritize open, consistent communication—sending you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. As a major bonus, I am an exceptionally tidy person who genuinely enjoys cleaning. My past clients have always loved coming home to happy, healthy, stress-free pets and a thoroughly clean, respected house! 🧽🐾
“Allison is amazing! We have a very shy, very large, very old dog - we had a couple meet and greets with Allison to introduce the shy pup, and she really took the time to get to know both us and the pup. Long story short, she’s all around awesome and we’re looking forward to having her help in the future ?”

“I would recommend Kayla to anyone seeking a kind and caring dog sitter. I had a cancelation the evening before an important medical appointment. On short notice Kayla was willing to help and the photos she sent assured me that my little Buddy was in good hands and happy. She definitely will be my first choice when I need a sitter.”

“I reached out to Kaitlyn to see if she could accommodate a short notice dog walking request, as I’ve been a little under the weather and my dog was starting to go stir crazy. She responded to my request quickly, communicated when she was on her way, walked Luna for the full 30 minutes and was very friendly! Luna is a happy girl and I would absolutely hire Kaitlyn again!”

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Walhain. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Walhain.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Walhain. On Rover:
- 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
