About: Hi, I'm Melissa! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. ​Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. Whether your furbaby is a social butterfly or a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle approach, I have the intuitive skills to make them feel safe and loved. ​When I’m not caring for your pets, I’m hanging out with my own senior "puppy," a 9-year-old dog named Alba (pictured with me!), and my 14-year-old "kitten." I love house-sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking, and my ultimate goal is to give you total peace of mind while you're away. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! With over a decade of professional animal facility experience and a huge heart for all creatures, I pride myself on being the next best thing to you when you’re away. I am fully backed by Rover and prioritize open, consistent communication—sending you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. As a major bonus, I am an exceptionally tidy person who genuinely enjoys cleaning. About: 🐾 I love dogs and have spent years learning exactly how to keep them happy, healthy, and safe! My background includes hands-on experience working at a doggy daycare, where I learned how to manage all kinds of dog personalities and play styles, as well as currently working as a professional dog groomer, which taught me how to handle pups with patience, care, and a gentle touch. Now, I will be offering friendly drop-in visits and dog walking! 🐶 I am currently a professional dog groomer full-time! At the moment, I have all-day availability to care for your pets every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The safety and comfort of your pet is my highest priority. During a stay, I stick strictly to your routines, use secure standard leashes on all walks, and never leave pets unsupervised.

About: I’ve been around all types of dogs for about 7 years, I currently have a 1 year old Rottweiler I’ve had since he was 4 months and trained him since. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine as it aligns perfectly with my love for animals and my organized schedule. Each day, I dedicate specific times for feeding, walking, and playing with the pets in my care. When caring for pets in my home, I prioritize safety, trust, and a nurturing environment. My home is pet-proofed to prevent accidents, with secure areas for different activities like play, rest, and meals. I ensure all pets have their own comfortable space and provide them with toys and enrichment activities to keep them engaged. Hygiene is crucial, so I maintain a clean environment, regularly sanitizing feeding areas and bedding. About: I am very proud to be a "fear free handler". That's a big thing for me, if an animal is uncomfortable, I am 100% uncomfortable along with them.. learning their little quirks and finding ways to do things in the best way possible for that specific animal is what I do and I absolutely love doing it. I promise your animal will be cared for deeply while in my care. My passion has always been working with animals, providing them with the care and respect they deserve and I have extensive experience in the field. I’ve worked in horse barns, animal shelters, and dog boarding facilities, and I’m skilled in administering all types of medications, including insulin. Whether it’s feral cats or reactive dogs, I have the patience and expertise to help them adjust and thrive, including building trust with new people. I understand how intimidating change can be for animals, and I’m dedicated to making those transitions as smooth as possible. I’ve dedicated countless unpaid hours to caring for animals, driven solely by my love and commitment to their well-being. When you entrust me with your pet, I promise to care for them as if they were my own, providing compassion, patience, and unwavering dedication in every situation. I am pretty open with my schedule. I will love your babies like my own. I do work mon-thurs 3-9pm and Saturday 11-4. I am a perfectionist. If you tell me you want something done in a specific way or at a certain time, please let me know!! I'd be more than happy to jump through hoops to give your baby(s) what they need when and how they need it. I will put your animal above everything else, that's what I'm paid for and that's what I love doing.

About: I have 2 dogs and love talking them on walks during the week. I’ve also volunteered at the humane society helping to care for the animals. I work part time at Kwik Trip during the week from 9 am until 12 pm so I’m available to walk dogs anytime after 12 pm during the week. I don’t work on the weekend but anytime after 12 pm works best for me to walk dogs on the weekend. I have 2 dogs and they love other dogs. There’s a dog park in Green Bay that I visit and a trail in Green Bay that I love walking my dogs on.

About: Over my 12 years of experience, I have pet sit all types of different animals for several neighbors, friends, and family members…including my aunt’s 9 cats. I currently am working part time as I am in college which my college schedule is now very flexible for the fall semester. I wanted another low stress job I would enjoy so I figured why not be around adorable pets ! I treat all pets with kindness and the respect they all deserve. I emphasize their emotions with how they must feel with their owner gone and try to give them extra love and attention to help.

About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. I have a large yard surrounded by fields in a rural area where pets are free to roam in sight as long as they’re well-trained.

About: I’ve had my own pets since I was little. I’ve had hamsters, goldfish, frogs, bunnies, hamsters and a dog. I also have a few years experience with taking care of my grandmas cats. About: Ive grown up handling anything from horses to chinchillas. I have an absolute love for all animals and will treat your sweet pet like my own! There has never been a time in my life where I did not have a dog in my house! Since the age of 15, I have raised and trained every dog I've owned with tremendous success! I am currently fly working as a flight instructor so my schedule has a ton of flexibility built into it. I could be available every few hours if needed. I live in an apartment with my Frenchie Berlin and my Fiancé. We are an active family and love being outside so your dog would get plenty of walks/runs! Inside the home, we encourage as much play as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets for a couple of years. I have dog sat for many different kinds of dogs and have also taken care of cats before. I enjoy dog walking as well. I have two dogs at home and love playing with them and getting their energy out. I currently am in school full time and have a part time job, but am looking to be able to care for pets or provide other services in my free time. I will be out of the green bay area mondays and tuesdays for school, but am around most of the week otherwise! I will make sure that the animals are comfortable and get the best care that they can. About: I've had dogs my entire life they've always been more like siblings to me than pets. Right now I have an Australian Shepherd and a German Shepard, I love them very much but now that I've moved out of my parents house I don't see them every single day and im missing some pet love!! I am a caregiver to the elderly and disabled as well but love giving care to any and all in need!! Very easy to work with.
