About: Returning to pet-sitting and walking as I rejoin the freelance world! I've always had a pet in the house, be it a cat or dog. I was the person who got to know the pet and their needs personally and cater to them. With siblings who travel often knowing I'm a pet person, I am often asked to check on their dogs (3 poodles in one household, 2 pugs in another) while they're away. Friends and family have asked for my help with cat care as I am especially versatile with cats. About: I started working with animals professionally when I was hired to work at private breeding stable in Summer 2016 to help taking care of pure bred Morgan horses and would take care of the mares and their babies! We would also have horses that were trained for showing. I distributed feeding, medication, and stall cleaning as well as other chores that were needed around the stable. I worked there for two years. I then worked at Kopec Veterinarian which is an Equine vet service in Elizabethtown, Pa, as a stable girl for a year and a half. In 2019, I worked at dog kennel over the summer working with every single kind of dog imaginable. For the past few years, I have been doing house sitting services, drop in visits, and boarding either through Rover or referrals from friends or family. I treat every single pet I watch as if they are my own because I love being around animals and being a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust who is watching your pet. I am a teacher so I recently moved to Maryland looking for some new clients! If you’re interested and think I’d be a good match for you and your pets needs, I’d love to chat with you and meet your fur baby! I am a teacher so my schedule can be flexible during lunch hours and in the evenings. I am willing to work with your specific needs. I have a fenced in yard with chicken wire covering the outside so it is very secure. I always keep an eye on my dog when she goes outside and I like to engage with her in some outdoor playtime. I love to take my dog on walks versus playing in the backyard so she has more new areas to explore.

About: I have experience in training and taking great care of dogs. Usually if my friends or family go on a trip they would ask if I could dog or house sit for them while they are gone. Every dog is different and requires great patience which is a skill that I have obtained over the years. I currently work full time Monday-Friday but I am more than happy to help take care of your fur baby after my shift or on the weekend! When there was a pet in my home they lived as I did, they were protected with fences and locks. If need be there would be a kennel for them to be in as well.

About: I've had a lifelong passion for animals that has only continued to grow. I have been directly working with pets for 9 years and I'm loving every minute. Since moving to Maryland, pet care has become my full-time job, so your pet can be prioritized while in my care. It's not just a side hussle for me. While your pet is in my home, they will be treated as one of my own. Though I don't have a fully fenced in yard, I have access to many walking paths for your dog to get their daily exercise. About: I am a true animal lover. My friends, family, and neighbors will let you know that I am their first option when needing someone take care of their baby.
