About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and currently have three dogs of my own, so caring for animals is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m experienced with feeding routines, walks, playtime, administering basic medications if needed, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Pet care is something I truly enjoy and treat as a priority in my schedule. I have a flexible routine that allows me to dedicate time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m reliable about sticking to each pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. Safety and comfort are always my priority when caring for pets. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I make sure pets are secure, supervised, and comfortable in their environment. I also provide plenty of attention, playtime, and updates so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for.

About: I've always had a passion for caring for animals & have had them in my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've cared for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior animals with special needs. I volunteered for several years at a local animal shelter, where I spent time caring for cats and walking/training dogs. Having had an elderly dog myself, I know how to handle the specific needs of older pets too - managing mobility issues, administering medications, & ensuring they are comfortable and well cared for. I know just how hard it can be to have someone new care for your pet, so I prioritize communication. I'm happy to always send pics + regular updates to give you peace of mind & help you feel connected! Having a cat that needs fairly specific care, I'm committed to knowing & following your pet's specific care. If they need an active schedule with lots of walks and playtime or gentle care due to age or health concerns, I'll ensure they get the best attention possible. My goal is to make sure you & your pet are happy & comfortable while I’m watching them, so I always treat every animal as if they were my own fur baby. I have a very flexible work schedule, which makes it easy for me to accommodate your pet care needs, whether it's regular check-ins or walks/feeding. I’m able to ensure they get all the attention, exercise, & care they need :) As an attentive animal lover - whether it’s feeding, walks, or playtime - I pay close attention & follow your pets usual routine. I take safety seriously - securing doors, gates, and following any specific instructions you provide. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy and cared for in their own familiar environment!

About: I’ve had my dog, Teddy, since I was about 7, and he’s a big bundle of fur. I’ve taken care of various cats/dogs for friends, neighbors, and family throughout the years. If your dog requires extra exercise, I am a college athlete who is happy to go on runs with them, as well as taking them to parks, etc. for extra playtime. If you have any specific requests, feel free to ask! During the summer, I’m free most of the time and have a very flexible schedule. I often have practice in the evenings, but other than that, I’m mostly free I’m happy to chill all day with you pets or exercise them multiple times a day depending on what they need. I have a dog and a cat myself (I live with my parents so taking care of them at the same time isn’t a concern), and know how to give animals LOTS of attention :)

About: I have house sat and pet sat for many years and I love being able to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for your pet. I can take your pet on walks, give lots of love and snuggles, and take care of your house as needed. No pet is too big or too small for me! I work Mon-Fri in downtown Chattanooga, but I am able to take an hour lunch break at any time to take pets on walks/feed etc. My house is pet free, and I have a fenced in back yard for your pet to run around and play in! I feel comfortable staying in your home as well and have provided that service for many years.

About: I am very experienced with giving animals medications(including injections)!! I’ve assisted in helping mommy horses deliver their babies!! I really love walking/ running with dogs!! I currently work part time (11:30am-5pm). I typically always come home as soon as I get off work! (22 mins away from my house) This will be a long- term schedule, but I am flexible! I am a mile away from amazing hiking/running trails!! I have two very friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company!! My dogs love being outdoor and love their quiet time too after playing!! My dogs love to share all their toys!! Also close to restaurants that allow dogs, so I’d love to take your fur baby to outtings!

About: I like dogs and I like getting outside and being active. If I can ever support/help you by taking your dog for a walk/run I would be honored! Sunday - Thursday: most often I'm available before 8AM and after 5PM. Friday and Saturday: with advanced notice I can make just about anything work! I've often been asked by friends to care for their pets when they go out of town and am always glad to do so. I seek to be someone who is reliable and keeps their commitments.

About: I’ve been caring for animals of all kinds for over a decade. I have cared for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, parrots, bunnies, and fish. I love animals and have a very open schedule, so I am looking to spend my time doing something i love- caring for animals! I have cared for animals of all personalities and types, and have experience handling medications and fixing invisible fences as well! Im currently a fresh grad and job searching so I can very flexible. I want to keep working while i search for my next move in life! I live in an apartment downtown, so I do not have a yard. That being said, it is better for me to house-sit than board, but I am open to boarding as i live near several parks like Marion square!

About: To address the gap in pet care; I stopped using Rover after I had my son in 2017. I started up again when he was a little older then moved to Mexico in 2019 and was there when I had my daughter. When I moved back to the states I kept them in school in Mexico and the daily drive to and from Tijuana. Made it so I wasn't comfortable taking in pets as I wouldnt be able to provide the care I strive for. I am now homeschooling them so no more daily crossings into Tijuana and after losing one of my own beloved pets have made my way back to Rover, now in 2023. I grew up with dogs from Pitbulls to Jacks, I currently own a Lab mix, a Boxer and cats. I have also had cats for those mixed family homes and am comfortable providing medication to pets if needed. I have a little GPS device. It's meant to find my phone buy I have used it on my dog for outings and will more than happily use it for your pooch for extra protection. I received my dog training certificate from Animal Behavior College and have continued learning through continued education, shadowing, and real life experience. I treat your fur babies as my own and am constantly expanding my knowledge of dogs. You can bet your fur baby will be well taken care of and loved while you are away. I have a very flexible schedule and homeschool my 3 and 5 year olds. I have the liberty to provide those constant outings, cuddling and loving for your pets. I ensure the safety of pets in my care with baby/pet gates and a brand new latch on my back gate. I always walking on leash and never off. I do have an etended 30 ft. lead and harness as well as a stake for playing fetch out in open areas. I do try to keep to as close a schedule with your pet as they have at home.

About: I’ve taken care of my friends, family, and neighbors animals my whole life! Dogs, cats, reptiles, and farm animals I take care of quite often. I have extensive knowledge regarding care for all species, their diets, their behavior, medical care and more. I have a deep love for making pets feel safe and happy, and avoiding stress for them as much as possible and I can work with whatever behavioral needs they may have. I work at an animal shelter as well, and I’m currently in school to become a veterinary technician. With these resources I am very knowledgeable in every aspect of animal care and am equipped with my resources and training to ensure safety and comfortably with and from your animal. Animal care is every part of my life and what I want to devote my life to. I’m working at an animal shelter part time for the summer, so I can fit in morning feeds and be there all afternoon and night for your animals! The safety of animals is my top concern. At my current job at the shelter I’m well informed on safety protocols for all animals, especially reactive or scared dogs. I’m very comfortable and knowledgeable in this care. And that goes for any species. I have two cats and two reptiles at home, and I take every precaution for feeding and interacting between all of them to avoid any tension or stress on my animals. About: Hello! My name is Kim, I am 26 years old and have a steady job at Ulta Beauty with a pretty set schedule working full time. I started working for Rover in April of 2017 because I absolutely love dogs and have a passion for them! :) I have been a dog owner for as long as I can remember and love hanging out with all kinds of pups! I love them all and they absolutely have my heart! I have experience with all different sizes, shapes, and personalities of dogs and love every pup equally! I've handled dogs as large as Great Danes and as small as chihuahuas! Unfortunately I am unavailable at the moment for bringing dogs to my own home, my pup is older and I am unwilling to board her or keep her locked up for long periods of time. Thank you for understanding. I have trained and dog-sat dogs as well for many years and treat every dog as though they are my own! About: I am an avid animal lover. I specialize in high energy dogs. I have been caring for all kinds of animals my whole life. I have my own dog who i adore. My dog is very high energy and also has to take medication everyday. I trained my dog to sit, lay down, down, stay and leave it. Your animal will be treated like family. I currently work from home and have my own hours. I like to take my dog for walks and go to the dog park. I am flexible. I have a friendly dog who loves to play with other dogs. She loves going to the dog park. I would love to take your dog for walks all the time.

About: Since I was in elementary school, my family has had Great Danes. I believe that big dogs in particular are a testament to how much we are capable of loving our pets. Like most pets, they will fill something in your life that you didn’t know was missing, but they will also cost you blood, sweat and tears- and sometimes this is multiplied according to their size. Giant breeds have much shorter life spans, as some of us know, and this seems to only heighten the pet parent experience. Unfortunately, in 2021, our family had one of our Danes fall ill and pass away while being boarded at a local facility. She was only two years old and we were completely devastated. Since then, I’ve come to realize how incredibly important it is to leave your pets under the care of someone who will be entirely present with them, tend to all of their needs, and communicate as much as possible. I can ensure that I will be that person if you choose me to be your sitter. I have been pet-sitting on and off since 2019 but dedicated three years entirely to the profession after 2022. During those three years I gained experience with dog breeds ranging from every size and age- and even a few cats and kittens. Most recently, I have had a full time job and could not continue to pet-sit, but now I have time to return to it and am looking forward to bringing on new clients. In my profile you can find photos of my own dog- Columba. Him and his litter were brought to a shelter soon after they were born and I had the opportunity to care for them until they were old enough to be adopted out. Obviously I had to keep one :) At the same time, my family brought Indigo home. Since then she has had a litter of puppies of her own and that’s how we ended up with Lula, her daughter. They are mess. Lol. P.S. I am an artists and I’m here if you need a pet portrait too! At the moment my schedule is very open! Just reach out to me with some dates and I will let you know if they do or don't work for me :) I'll do whatever you or your pet requests! I'm very used to needy dogs as my Great Danes will bark or hit me with their giant paws if they are not getting enough attention. They also sometimes refuse to drink out of a bowl and will whine at the kitchen sink until it is turned on for them to drink from. At my home, we have an electric fence, but I tend to go outside with them. I also have lots of experience with walking dogs after living in Chicago, as well.
