“Would definitely recommend Nancy. She watches our dog Charlie once a week and is flexible and understanding when our schedule changes on short notice. We also like getting the pictures Nancy sends at the end of the day. Charlie loves her days with Nancy and always comes home happy and exhausted.”

“This is our second trip to Lexington and our dog Benjamin’s second time in doggy day care with Aluna. He obviously remembered his last visit because he got really excited when we arrived at her house. She kept us updated throughout the day with texts and photos. It is a fantastic relief to be able to leave him for a day when we are traveling and sightseeing knowing that he will have fun and be well cared for. Aluna is a treasure!”

About: My parents have always had at least 2-3 dogs in the house at once while I was growing up. Now that I’m older I have two fur babies of my own that I consider my children! I’m currently a Vet Tech at an Equine hospital caring for sick/hurt horses Mon-Fri. I also come home everyday from work to take care of my two dogs and two horses on my farm. I don’t go a day without interacting with animals! At my house I allow pets to roam freely inside with a bed so they can lay down when they please. I ensure nothing is accessible that could harm any of my pets and only allow them non-rawhide bones while I’m supervising them. If the client has preferences on how they would like their pets cared for in my home or their home I pay close attention to the details and follow what they tell me to do.

“Fresh Farm Air, Clean surroundings, Plenty of exercise this is what your pets will get while visiting at Sherry’s. Your pets will come home clean and smelling fresh too! Being on a working farm there is plenty of things for them to watch and be interested in. They will not be in the same place every minute as Sherry rotates the animals so they do not get bored to become destructive so this means plenty of personal time one on one as she moves them around. Sherry believe in starting with a clean dog and upkeep everyday to keep it that way.”

I’ve owned and been around all kinds of dogs and cats! I stay at home most of the time so I will be able to spend plenty of time making sure your dog is getting the exercise it needs! We have a large fenced in backyard where your dogs can run free any time they want. My husband loves dogs as well! I know he would be happy to give your pets some extra love and attention.

14. Tiffany K.
“Tiffany has watched my dogs for me for years! She is absolutely amazing and loves animals. Her kids and spouse love them just as much! They work as a team to give my furbabies all the love and attention they need and deserve while I am away!”

About: I worked in kennels for vets offices and shelters since I was 15years old (over 15years ago). Doing the nasty work of cleaning up after them to clipping nails and walks, I can cover it all. I currently am self employed and have the ability to make my own schedule, in order to be home for your fur babies full time. No worries there. I have an unfenced yard, so I walk my fur baby, Apollo, American pitbull, on leash as I would your baby. Apollo is super friendly and truly a big, lazy teddy bear he gets along great with other animals and children.
16. Deonita R.
“Dee is a great mom to a toddler as well as Cookie Bear and Sage! Two of the sweetest pups ever. Previous worker in daycare as well!”
17. Sue C.
“Sue is a responsible, reliable caregiver who has extensive experience with a variety of animals (i.e. dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, etc.). She is able to maintain a consistent routine and is quite attentive to their individual signals and needs such as needing to go potty, walk, hungry, etc. She takes initiative and often works on various tricks while watching our pup or takes her outside to play (i.e. fetch, etc.) On higher energy without anyone asking her to! She is very loving and on lower energy days, she is willing to lay around and cuddle her, which is no small feat considering how skittish our pup can be! She communicates scheduling conflicts well in advance and does not over-commit so your pet is in the best of hands!”

About: Have dog/cat/house sat for a few friends over the years and loved it so looking to do it more. I have a large backyard that is fenced in for your dog to run around in. Also live close to parks where I can take them to play. I work a full time job but my house is 12 minutes from work (currently work from home so I'm here all day) but normally I can make frequent visits home, and my house has cameras inside so I can keep an eye on them at all times. Own 1 cat (Boots), she is very chill and gets along with other animals well and 1 dog (August), he loves all other animals. Communication is important to me, so I will respond to messages and calls ASAP. Any questions feel free to ask. Hope to hear from you! -Kasi I currently work from home so I am here to attend to all of your babies needs and wants and make sure they get all the extra special care. I am very attentive and as a dog and cat owner myself I give your baby the same love and care that I give my own.
