About: I've had a fur baby in my arms since I was a child. Not only did I raise my own, but I've kept my friends, my co-workers and my son's dogs while they were out of town, for a day, a week and sometimes longer. I cared for my son's senior boy while he worked, and then he brought the newest baby to me everyday she when she was a puppy, so she wasn't home alone and I could potty train her with love. I raised our German shepherd with my sons from the time she and my youngest were both just 8 weeks old. When Libby was almost 18 yo we had to have our vet assist her in crossing the rainbow bridge. From there I got my first tiny dog, a little boy named Dexter, Chihuahua 6.6 lbs, and then shortly after I got Danika, Chihuahua 5.5 lbs. They went everywhere with me, vacations, nail salon, shopping. They had a purse they loved to jump right in and 2 booster seats so they were secured safely in my car. I lost Dexter to heart disease at 14 yo and poor little Danika was lost without him. I adopted Lucylle, Chihuahua 6 lbs, she was 2 yo. She was left at the vet by her previous family, that never came back to get her. She was very aggressive towards everyone in the beginning and it took me 3 months of patience and love to bring her out of it. By that time her and Danika were best friends, and loving companions, of course they went everywhere with me. We lost Danika just few months ago, she was 16 yo. That's when I decided to start my journey with Rover, to bring some added joy into mine and Lucylle's life and give other fur babies a safe and loving place to visit when family were away. I retired 04-2024, Lucylle and I have plenty of time on our hands. I bought a patio home, with a nice fenced back yard, where I sit in the morning or anytime during the day/evening and watch Lucylle go out and do her business or just play. We take walks around the neighborhood or down at the walking trail. My neighbors are also dog lovers, they just love little Lucylle. I have a fenced back yard for them to play in with my girl, and I keep a watchful eye on them when they are outside. I can crate your baby if needed, as I do my own sometimes. I have little beds and/or a blanket for them to snuggle when they are napping. Being retired gives me plenty of time for your fur baby (and mine). Caring, playing and loving them as if they were my own.

“Mary is welcoming and understanding for my guy, he's anxious when I drop him off, but Mary handles it with ease. Joey comes home happy, and I will continue to visit Mary for his care.”

“Kristen has watched Boo regularly for several weeks now and I couldn't be happier. She sends me pics and videos of him playing with her dogs and I know he's being well cared for. I can't recommend her highly enough. Boo loves coming to visit and play every week!”

“Look no further, Renee is a GEM! My husband and I were RVing in Kentucky and needed a dog sitter at the last minute. Renee not only took Beans in last minute but truly is amazing with Dogs! Beans had so much fun she was so sad to leave! Thank you so much Renee! If we are ever back in Kentucky we will be reaching out!”

About: I have owned dogs my whole life. I currently have a 9 year old Yorkiepoo, Riley. I have a large backyard that is fenced in for the dogs to run and play. My home is one story so it is also senior dog friendly. Riley does well with other dogs. I work from home so I am always available to show TLC! If I do leave the home it’s for 4 hours or less. If their was an extenuating circumstance I would make you aware before confirming the reservation. I prefer to crate dogs when I’m not home though I am flexible on this depending on the situation. My Yorkiepoo feels safest when crated when I’m not home so he is always crate if I’m not there. I’m willing to discuss the needs of your furbabies so they’re the most comfortable they can be while being away from you. I’m also open to any new clients coming and seeing my home before making a decision to board with me. I understand it can be anxiety inducing leaving our furbabies and being able to see the environment they may be staying in can help! I know I struggle when having to leave my dog because he is a creature of habit and I want to know that he will be as comfortable as possible! I would also like to provide that peace of mind for your pets.

“Catherine (and family) were so great with our old pups! We got plenty of pics and could tell they were being well cared for. When we picked them up, they were both happy and healthy. We are very grateful to have met them and would definitely recommend them.”

About: I have experience with all types of dogs from various backgrounds. I got into fostering with my wife a few years ago. I have plenty of experience with dogs who need medication administration, including injections and am conscious that some need to stick to a specific food. I want to make this a place a home away from home for your pup because that’s what they deserve when they’re away from the people they love the most! My schedule is flexible. A typical routine is to have morning, afternoon, evening and bedtime potty breaks and mealtime at breakfast and dinner. The only conflict may be that we attend church Sunday mornings. I have a fenced yard and a playful pup to keep your fur baby entertained. If crating is part of your dog’s routine, please provide the crate, as I do not crate my dog. We do bark box, so no need to bring toys. I do recommend something that smells like home, especially for the first visit, and if your dog has separation anxiety. Please don’t bring any sentimental toys or bones as it can cause resource guarding and potential conflict. All dogs are fed separately at mealtime. I cannot watch unfixed dogs (male or female) past 1 year old due to behavioral issues. If we are away from the house, dogs are kept in the playroom so they have room to roam. I have a ring camera to be able to check in if needed. Please reach out for any further questions so I may provide clarification!

About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I work from home for 3 days/wk and then I go to the office 2 days/wk. I have some flexibility with my full-time job to come and go. I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued one. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. Since I work from home the majority of the time, I am home more than most people. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I understand the importance of paying attention to a pets needs. Clean water and mealtimes, and picking up after them on walks. I enjoy your pets personality, playing with them, especially with energetic pets. I am super detailed oriented to follow the instructions of pet owners. My personality is high energy, enthusiastic, and detail oriented. I am working part time on Rover, according to my calendar of availability. I want to use my free time to play a role in pets and pet owners lives. I will pay close attention to every detail you give about your pets care, as we get to know each other and build trust. I want you to be satisfied with the care your pet receives, and demonstrate respect for your home.

About: I have taken care of new born puppies and helped give medications/ shots. I have personally train 3 of my own dogs in the 4-H program. I have also had a few cats over the years. I’ve owned and been around all kinds of dogs and cats! I stay at home most of the time so I will be able to spend plenty of time making sure your dog is getting the exercise it needs! We have a large fenced in backyard where your dogs can run free any time they want. My husband loves dogs as well! I know he would be happy to give your pets some extra love and attention.

“Susan was very nice! Could tell she loves dogs. She took great care of our Sadie! Thanks so much. Will definitely use again if in the area.”

About: Hi, My name is, April. Let me start off my saying just how much I LOVE dogs!! They are truly mans best friend. I feel it’s important to create a loving and calm environment for dogs. Lots and lots of love and play time is important too. Training dogs is beneficial to a dogs character and mental growth. It helps them feel like they are a part of a pack and they have responsibilities to their pack. I’ve had several dogs in my lifetime and all have been well trained and loving. I also love to take dogs to the park and have them play with other dogs so they will be socialized in different settings. I am a loving caregiver who loves to be outdoors. Thank you for your consideration. I hope to work with your pet and make him feel loved and cared for. I’m devoting my time to caring for your fur babies. This will be my full time job, so they will have all Of my attention. It’s most important to make sure your fur babies feel safe and comfortable; In doing that, I’d show them much love and attention. Lots of play time!

Sherry M.
“Sherry has been caring for my dogs since 2001! She does an incredible job - sometimes I think the dogs like it better at her place than at home:) I am very particular about how my dogs are cared for. I can give Sherry very detailed instructions and she will carry out my requests to the letter. She has given Rx meds to many of my dogs and also helped care for a dog of mine with a broken leg that involved physical rehabilitation - she can do it all. The dogs get wonderful exercise and playtime at her place, too. Her house and outdoor areas are immaculate. Sherry treats my pets like they were her own children. I cannot recommend her more highly.”
