About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience with dogs. I worked at a wonderful dog shelter called KC Paws that taught me about dog handling, body language, and temperament. I was a shift lead so I have experience administering medications - liquid and pills. I am also a foster for T.A.R.A, another wonderful shelter, so I have TONS of experience with puppies as young as 5 weeks old. While I have not worked in a professional setting with cats, I have 3 of my own and I have fostered two sweet cats. I’m finishing up school with one class left so at the moment, Rover is my full time job! I’m available unless otherwise stated on my schedule for whatever care your pet needs - day and night. Feel free to send me a message about scheduling questions to see if we can work something out! :) I only offer dog sitting in your home because I’ve got too many animals at my house and your dog or cat’s safety is my biggest priority. About: In a professional capacity, I’ve been off and on Rover for a few years, and I love it! My clients have loved the customer service level I bring to each interaction. From my communication style and pictures to my ability to be flexible in scheduling. In my personal life, I’ve taken care of dogs, fish, cats, turtles/tortoises, rats and guinea pigs. I’ve administered medication to pets in the past and I’ve done enrichment training as well. Schedule varies. I work in the Plaza and Partner Joel works from home and is available to care for pets all day. We live in downtown Kansas City MO. With my dog walks, I’ll typically take a 20 minute walk with 10 minutes allowed for enrichment/playtime. With any drop-ins, I’m happy to refill food/water and/or take care of any plants babies that you may have as I have a pretty good green thumb.
About: I am a third year veterinary student in KC for the summer at an internship! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years now and have gained experience in handling and working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I have also been petsitting for family friends for 5 years and have plenty of experience making pets feels comfortable while their owner is away. I am comfortable handling any dog or cat, with anything from giving medications to your senior pup to walks and exercise for the more energetic ones! About: I am new to the app so I don’t have many reviews yet. But rest assured, I have lots of experience with house sitting and dog care. I would love to help you with other duties, including taking in mail, watering plants, keeping the place clean and tidy, etc. I have been the go-to-girl to dog sit and dog walk for all my friends, family, and neighbors since high school. I absolutely love to get to hangout with dogs and get my steps in! It would be a privilege to care for your precious pups! I am a doctor of physical therapy student at the KU Med Center. I have a 10 year old pug of my own named Beatrix, she is precious! I am never away from Bea for more than 5 hours at a time…but it usually is not that long. I am a homebody! And I dont mind at all to structure my schedule around caring for her, play and potty breaks, and three 30min walks/day. During the 2 days/week that I am in class from 8-5, I run home during lunch to take her out. I would do the same with your dogs as well! I have a flexible schedule that can allow me to work around your pups usual routine. I am able to take your dog out in your backyard or on a walk for potty breaks as often as needed. If I am house sitting for you, I would need to bring my 10 year old pug Beatrix to stay as well. She is easygoing and gets along great with other dogs. When I need dog care, I use Rover too! So Bea has spent a lot of time with new dogs in new homes. About: I've been relied upon by neighbors for years to dog-sit, dog-walk, and pet-sit for cats as well. I'm a big lover of all animals and grew up with dogs, cats, and even chickens! I started caring for these animals at an early age, handling tasks such as feeding, scooping litter, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the chicken coop. We have an old cat with kidney and heart problems ourselves who needs to be pilled and have a cream applied to his ear twice a day. I understand how our pets are, quite literally, additional family members to the household, and I recognize the importance of ensuring they are loved and cared for, just like all of us!!! About: We have had pets all of our life. From dogs to cats, bunnies, hamsters, and mice! We love going on walks, playing in the house or snuggling up on the couch. Special diets are no problem. I have taken care of geriatric pets and tummy sensitive pets before. I work 3 days a week. Katie is home all the time and is able to tend to your baby all day so your fur baby won't be lonely! We have a fenced in back yard and a cozy living room with plenty of dog beds to go around. I live right by a park with a walking trail for potty breaks. We do have 4 dogs and 3 cats of our own that are very friendly and love to play.
