About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! I grew up with dogs and have continued to have them throughout adulthood, with experience caring for a variety of breeds and personalities. My husband and two kids also love dogs, so your pet will be welcomed and cared for by our whole family. We understand the care, attention, and love they need. I typically work from home, with only occasional in-person meetings, so I’m able to be home and spend plenty of time with your pet throughout the day. I have a large yard where your dog can get plenty of fresh air on a leash and a great neighborhood for walking if your pet enjoys walks. Your dog will be able to roam freely around the house during the day and will have our dog for company. For bedtime, please bring a crate if your dog is crate-trained and prefers to sleep that way.
“Anastasia watched Willow for two weeks while we were in Europe. She sent us updates periodically which was perfect since we were on vacation. Our daughter picked up Willow at the end and said that Willow was content and calm which means Willow had a good time adjusting. We will definitely use Anastasia again!”

“This is a great family home for my dog -- she loved boarding here. Aaron take all your special needs and indulgences into consideration and provides plenty of play opportunities. Just what my little doodle needs!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
