Caroline showed patience and poise while watching him. As a pet owner who has a dog like Bodey, it put me at ease knowing he was in terrific hands. Luckily I found a gem in Renee, who stayed at my house for 2 weeks and took the absolute best care of my cat, my yard, and my home. She watered my grass, my garden boxes, planter boxes; took my trash bins out twice for pickup; collected my mail. Renee also took amazing care of my cat, Sunny. Even though I missed my girl while I was gone, I honestly never worried about her care or wellbeing because I know she was in good, mature hands. Renee communicated with me every day and sent pictures and videos of Sunny playing with toys, going for walks on her leash and harness, and sleeping on her lap. Upon my arrival home, Renee had left me a letter about her stay, laundered bed sheets and towels, and cleaned the house very well. There’s nothing better than coming back from a long trip to a very happy, content cat and a clean home. Thank you, Renee!”

The yard is fenced, and there’s a handy window for watching the neighborhood. We enjoy hosting and caring for social dogs, and help them feel part of the pack while you're away. There’s walking, running and playing catch, and car rides for those who like them. I work part time from home, and have lots of time for dogs. I typically take them with me on short errands if they enjoy that. We like our guest dogs to feel like they’re staying with a friend, and keeping the routine they’re used to as much as possible. Ideally, our house is a place they’d be happy to come back to.

I work full time but am finished with my work day on Wednesdays and Fridays by 3pm, and Tuesdays by 4pm. I am available weekends and love being active with pets who love to walk/run or chill at home with pets with lower energy. I make sure to keep to a pet’s routine when you are away as it can be stressful for them to not have their primary person there! I adapt to their schedule. I follow their lead: if they are feeling anxious or aloof I never force myself because I want to ensure they feel safe and cared for.
