“As always, Claire was absolutely amazing with taking care of my cat, Mr. Donut. We had some technology issues with the cameras and the automatic feeder I have at home, but she was so patient with me and always provided updates and information about Mr. Donut. I am so happy to have met Claire. She is so positive, kind, and great with my cat. I would completely recommend her wholeheartedly. Thank you, Claire, for always being so amazing ❤️”

“Kaylee made going out of town so much less stressful knowing my babies would be well taken care of! She provided photos everyday and I really loved hearing her in depth updates on how they were doing. I absolutely would recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter.”

About: I have taken care of dogs of different breeds and ages. I love taking dogs for walks and playing fetch and of course for going to potty. For house sitting, I have house sat for months at a time for a couple who would go out of town several times through out the year. I am very careful to make sure that the house is kept the same way as when the owner left. I clean up after myself. I am available during the day and evenings if needed. My only unavailable day would be Sundays but Sunday evenings after 8 pm I am available. I just have the one cat and she is indoor only so I do not have a fenced in area so my house is not suitable for cat or dog sitting.

“Hannah was absolutely wonderful with my cat! She provided really detailed updates and pictures, got along great with my cat, and gave him much needed affection and playtime. She cleaned up where he got sick and assured me he was acting normally and eating so I wasn't worried. Hannah is super nice and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend her!!”

“Riley is the best!!! She sent us the best updates and pictures of our dogs. Our dogs looked so happy and received so much attention. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Eliza took great care of our cat while we were away for the week. She always arrived on time, and followed our instructions to the letter. I think we got more pictures of our cat from her than we have taken ourselves, haha.”

“Sydney was absolutely amazing with my cat Winston! I had a trip planned out of town when he had an allergic reaction to some new food and Sydney took great care of him! By the time I got home his rash had totally cleared up she was an absolute life saver and I know Winston enjoyed the company while I was gone. I got lots of pictures while I was gone and felt at ease knowing he was taken care of!”

About: Pets are family. Period. Trusting family to a stranger is stressful, but with our years of experience having dogs you can rest easy knowing that your pup is with a couple who cares, communicates, and keeps them safe. I served as the Dean of Students at Birmingham-Southern College until it closed. Since then, I've pivoted out of higher education and now work from home and have a flexible schedule. My wife also works from home, so we'll both cater to the needs of your pup and care for them like they were members of our own dog family. We do not have children, so our focus will be on your four-legged companion. We have a home in Southside near UAB with a fully fenced-in backyard, including a doggie door! We have two pups of our own, Barley & Greta, who love having friends visit. Barley is on the older side, but Greta is 2 years old and loves to play play play! We're close to Glen Iris School and UAB, so our walks are relaxing and have plenty of opportunities for fetch.

“Carson was amazing!! From the initial meet before our trip, our dog loved her! While we were gone, she made sure to send lots of pictures and videos, which made our day every time. She even went out of her way to take a pictures and videos of our cat (which she usually hides) because our cat loved her too! Thank you so so much Carson!!!”

About: I have been a pet owner for several years and they are apart of my family. I would love the opportunity to help you care for your babies as well. My schedule is very flexible. I do work Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 but would be available to do drop ins before or after work and also available to board anytime during the weekend. I live in an apartment complex. I currently have one Lab that I love dearly. Her schedule is being walked three times a day and also lots of play time in the fenced in dog area. I will treat your babies the same way. If I come to stay in your home for care, I will follow any instructions you may have.

“Sarah took such great care of our two cats while we were gone! It was such a great feeling to know she was with them and hear how much fun they were having together. She even gave our older cat medication twice a day which is not an easy feat, but she handled it perfectly! She truly went above and beyond in every way possible and we're so thankful for her.”

About: I have dog and cat sat before many times, for friends and family. I love animals so much, and will do my best to care for them well! I am free every single day of the week! I might have some conflicts along the way, but my only weekly conflict is church on Sunday's at 4 pm I pet and cuddle them, feed them, walk them and let them out to potty, or clean cat's litter box. I follow instructions and pay attention to detail!

“Abby did a fantastic job of caring for our cat. She definitely has a special touch - our cat bonded with her on the first visit - he always runs and hides when someone enters our house - totally a big fraidy cat! She sent photos of him every day. I highly recommend Abby - responsible, dependable, flexible and communicates well.”

About: I’ve had 1-2 dogs since the day I was born! I’ve never known life without a dog, so it is in my nature to care for them as family. I’ve helped raise my dogs from puppy to the end of life so I am well-versed in buds in any stage of life. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pups! I am available every day before 12:00 pm, a couple afternoons/evening every week, and weekends during the day. When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I treat their space with the same care and respect as I would my own. I follow instructions meticulously while ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while the caretaker is away.

About: Strays were always welcome in my home growing up. Whether we kept them or found them a loving home I have always been surrounded by animals. From puppies to elderly dogs, all ages. I have worked with more reactive dogs but it is not my favorite. I have a cat in my apartment she loves dogs, but not all dogs love cats, so keep that in mind. No fenced in yard at the apartment, but plenty of grassy areas to frolic on a leash. I have a leadership role at a nonprofit that allows me to have a flexible hybrid (remote and on-site) schedule. I get outside everyday for a walk, come in and out of home for different work appointments or zoom meetings, and I would love to take care of your fur baby. Either walks, house sitting, overnights, etc. if you give me clear instructions on your fur baby I will be set. As far as how I care for animals in my environment— I have a huge cat tree in my living room, a little too many cat toys, plenty of space to go on walks. I often run through my neighborhood. My baby has automatic litter boxes and water fountains and a feeder that goes off at the same times everyday. She is a spoiled kitty and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

About: Loving, Reliable House & Pet Care — Special Needs & Senior Experience Hi! I’m Vanessa — a full-time pet owner and experienced caregiver. I’ve personally raised and cared for my own 3 dogs and 2 cats, all of whom have very different personalities, medical needs, and routines. From puppy training to senior care, special diets, medication schedules, and anxiety triggers — I’ve handled it all with patience and love. When I house sit, I bring that same level of care directly into your home. Your pets stay in their own safe, familiar environment while I handle everything: feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication, and cuddles. High-energy dogs will get plenty of outdoor time and exercise; low-energy pets can relax and hang out by my side for quiet comfort. Since I don’t work outside the home, I’m present most of the day to give your pets plenty of attention. I do step out for a few hours in the evening to go to the gym, but I always return to make sure everyone is settled in for the night. You’ll get regular updates, photos, and open communication so you can relax while you’re away knowing your pets — and your home — are in great hands. What sets me apart? Your pet will never be left alone for long hours — I’m home full-time, so their care isn’t squeezed in between a busy schedule. Whether it’s maintaining special routines, managing medical needs, or simply providing a calm, loving environment, I tailor my care to meet each pet’s unique personality and needs. My clients know that when their pets stay with me, they’re getting the same level of love and attention I give my own fur family. Since I don’t work outside the home, I’m able to offer constant supervision, regular potty breaks, and consistent routines to help your pet feel secure and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to provide frequent updates and photos for your peace of mind. When I care for your pets, my top priority is keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home environment. I maintain their usual routines, supervise them closely, and monitor for any changes in behavior, appetite, or health. I’m experienced with special needs, senior pets, medication administration, and pets who may require a little extra patience or care. While house sitting, your pets aren’t left alone for long hours. I’m home during the day to provide frequent potty breaks, meals, playtime, and companionship. In the evenings, I’m briefly away for a workout, but I return home at night to ensure your pets feel calm and secure before bedtime. Your home is treated with the same level of respect and responsibility — mail, plants, light cleaning, and security are all handled while you’re away. You can leave knowing both your pets and your home are in capable, trusted hands.

“Birch is the most conscientious and thoughtful person I know. Our dogs are family and she cares for them like family. Birch has been walking and caring for our dogs Cooper and Winston and we couldn't be happier! She treats them like her own—sending photos during walks, remembering their favorite routes, and even noticing when one seems a bit under the weather-even before we did. They get so excited when they see her that they wiggle their whole bodies! Birch is punctual, communicative, and genuinely loves what she does. We trust her completely and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their furry family member.”

Vanessa V.
“I can’t say enough about Vanessa—she’s truly one of the most caring and responsible pet owners I know. She personally has three dogs and two cats, all of whom are incredibly well cared for and deeply loved. It’s clear how much her pets mean to her, and the time, effort, and affection she puts into their care is unmatched. What sets her apart even more is the way she handles my own pets, especially since they have special needs. She takes the time to learn their routines, administer their medications exactly as needed, and ensures they feel safe and comfortable. I have two dogs and one cat, and I trust her completely to care for them just like I would. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their animals—she’s not just reliable, she’s exceptional.”
