About: My approach matches the energy of the animal and meets them on a level they’re ready for! I have spent my whole life taking care of cats, and they have taught me how to respect an animal’s boundaries with patience and compassion. I have petsat for several years now! It is a delight to learn and love every furred friend I have the privilege of taking care of. Safety and trust with your animal is my primary focus. Two of my references can give you first hand information about how much I loved and cared for their dogs. I work a 40 hour week in Waynesboro and depending on location of the pet, can do drop in visits before and after work and sometimes during the day (if local). I am good with animals and will be a good pick if you need someone who can feed your pets in a timely manner . I do work a 8-6 job Monday - Friday but I have an hour break @11 am everyday. About: I've grown up with animals my entire life beginning with Mr. Blue the Himalayan Cat and Kahlua the Black Lab and all of the animals I've loved, worked with, and now become mama to in my adult life. There's space in my home to separate if anyone needs a break and I can easily crate if needed or desired. *Crating is for safety and comfort only, I do not use crating as as discipline. I work from home so there is plenty of room in my schedule for playtime, walks, pet-friendly outings and adventures, cuddles, feeds and/or any other specialized care your friend might require. I have an unfenced yard so any outside play will be leashed or in an enclosure. For additional safety, I keep a few dog crates on hand. They are available for pups that are crate trained, in case I need to separate, or even personal preference! Dogs are den animals so when used correctly, some of them (like ours!) love having a cozy space to relax. *Please note, I never use crates as “punishment” in our home, nor do I believe in or practice discipline of animals. I care for and love every animal the way I’d want my sweet boy loved and cared for.
