About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life and currently live on a peaceful 3-acre farm with chickens, rabbits, ducks, and goats—so I’m very comfortable around pets of all kinds! I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need playtime and structure, to senior dogs who require a gentle touch, patience, and extra care. What sets me apart is the calm, loving environment I provide and the personal attention each pet receives. I’m home full-time, so your pet will never be left alone for long. I’m also very detail-oriented and follow each pet’s routine closely—whether that’s administering medication, helping with crate training, or giving lots of belly rubs and cuddle time. Every animal I care for is treated like family. I truly love what I do, and I always go the extra mile to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet the attention, exercise, and love they need throughout the day. I care for a small number of pets at a time so each one gets the individual attention they deserve. My 3-acre property is quiet and surrounded by nature, and pets are always supervised during outdoor time to ensure their safety. I follow each pet’s routine closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, administering medication, or special instructions—to make sure they feel secure and loved. I also keep open communication with pet parents, sending regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I treat every pet like family, creating a calm, loving space where they can feel at home while you’re away.

About: I am a true dog lover. I have been taking care of pets for over 30 years. I have had 7 dogs of my own and my last 2 lived to be 17 and 19 years; a testament to the wonderful care that I provide them. I am experienced in all aspects of pet care, including house breaking, behavioral training, health issues, medication dispensing, and geriatric care. But most importantly, I will care for your fur baby just like they are my very own. Do they love a snuggle? So do I. Do they love to walk? So do I. You let me know what is important to you in your pet's care and I will provide it. I am here to make your life easier as well as make sure that your pet is healthy, safe, and happy while you are away! I currently work part-time from home so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet/s. I am available 24/7. I work around your schedule. I have a fenced in yard. I also have two miniature schnauzers (Tallulah and Adele) who love play dates and can't wait to entertain your babies. I am also able to crate your dog if needed.

About: Your dog will feel pampered, spoiled and loved, and will be treated like a member of our family during their stay. I have had dogs all of my life, usually two or three at a time. I know how to take care of puppies and seniors alike, and every age in between. I am a dog rescuer, and a foster mom whenever possible. I will take dogs up to 20 lbs. only. Each dog has a personality as unique and as individual as people. Their likes, dislikes and habits will be catered to as closely as possible during their stay. Let's schedule a meet and greet to decide if we are a good fit. Drop off and pick-up hours are 10 am - 6 pm. Outside of these hours will be $10, or feel free to reserve an extra day. Fee includes per night, for 24 hour period. Anything past an extra 2 hours will be billed at 1/2 day. Day care covers a 10 hour stay; every hour over is $10. Requirements: >neutered >proof of up-to-date vaccines >flea/tick prevention >friendly with other dogs >food I am home full-time. Errands would never be more than 1-2 hours. Potty breaks are 0-2 hours throughout entire day, up until late in the evening. I require a Meet & Greet with any new client to make sure they get along with my two sweet dogs. They will always be supervised when out in the fenced yard. They can stay in, play or cuddle on the couch - whatever their heart desires. Please bring your fur baby's food, favorite toys, treats, beds, a harness, and a collar with up-to-date tags, including their name!

“Lydia was a wonderful caretaker for my dog, Roman. She was very easy to communicate with and very prompt in responding to any questions that I had. She was also very flexible with the times for pick up and drop off as I was traveling in my RV and sightseeing and so it was difficult to know for certain what time I would be there to drop him off. She kept me informed all day of how he was doing, sent me pictures of him. Her dog Yoda was a sweetheart, and I know that my dog was very happy to have a friend. She took him for walks and to play at the dog park, and he was very calm and happy when I picked him up the next time that I go to Saint Augustine I will definitely , be hiring her to care for him again!”
