“Warm and caring sitter; bright, welcoming, dog-friendly home with a neat fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood. After the initial pet care plan for my St. Augustine vacation fell through, I found I needed to board my dogs for the very first time, very anxiety-provoking for both me and them. The initial kennel situation I found did not work for their sensitive cuddly little souls and I was scrambling to find a better option. I was incredibly lucky to find Leanna on Rover. She responded very promptly to my booking request and assured me she would give my little guys the attention, freedom, comfort and cuddles they craved. Right upon arriving, I could tell my dogs felt comfortable with Leanna and comfortable in her home. From the way she welcomed them and the patience and friendliness she showed as they got settled and acquainted with her dogs, I could tell that she was both very experienced and a true dog lover. Leanna kept me updated on how my guys were doing, with photos which I so appreciated. I could see that they were behaving like their typical selves, finding the same types of comfy spots they love at home, socializing with her dogs and curling up cozy with her. When I picked them up, they weren’t even in a hurry to leave and one of them who is typically quite anxious and slow to warm actually whimpered looking toward her house as if he didn’t want to leave! It’s almost like they had a vacation of their own in Leanna’s lovely home with her and her dogs. Amazingly, I actually got back dogs who were calmer and more confident than the ones I left! I am beyond grateful for Leanna’s loving care of my dogs for the week they were with her. I feel that she really treated them like her own. As a result, I was able to actually relax on vacation and not worry about them at all. If I ever come to St. Augustine with my dogs again I will be sure to contact Leanna. About: I have worked at a doggy boarding and daycare facility for eight years. I have been managing for three of those eight years. I have cared for numerous breeds and dogs of all ages. I do have a soft spot for elderly dogs, but do love walking and playing with younger, energetic dogs as well. As a result of my years of experience, I am capable of giving all forms of medication, making meals (dry, canned, homemade, raw, etc), and I have worked with dogs and cats of all temperaments. I have started this little business because I have seen how much happier pets are when they are cozy at home compared to a boarding facility, especially if they are prone to anxiety when they are away from home. I have appointments every other Thursday from 11 to 1:30, but aside from that, I'm free. Walking and drop-ins work best for my schedule as they are the most flexible jobs offered here. I will walk your dogs wherever you feel comfortable. If they have a beloved route, I will keep them on it. During drop-ins, I will adhere to any instructions you have. At my place of work, I follow food and care instructions (that always vary) daily.

About: I have experience with small, medium, large, and XL dogs! I've experienced leash aggression dogs as well. With that being said I can also watch reptiles! I have my own cats, toffee hognose, zero-bearded dragons, and a leopard gecko. As someone who has their own pets, I know the importance of knowing that your fur baby is cared for in your absence. Currently, I am a grad student at USAHS enrolled in the OTD program. I have class Monday-Friday but am not gone for longer than 3-4 hours a day. After classes your pet will be with me for the rest of the day so we will have a ton of time to play! Your pet will never go anywhere unsupervised, he/she will always be taken care of as if they were my own, they will be walked every potty break, they will be the only dog in the home too. The only times I will be gone is for classes/labs. I will stick to the rover times you've set through the app to ensure you feel safe with each visit. I'm more than happy to send pictures and videos for updates as well.

About: I've had pets, both cats and dogs for most of my life. For the last ten years, I've had a Great Pyrenees mix and her cat sister, and also have a spunky four year old male cat. All are incredibly friendly and social, and used to friends and family bringing their pets over all the time. I have a relatively large, two story, 4BR with office house with a fenced in yard in a private neighborhood located adjacent to Treaty Park and the dog park there. My dog is very social and has been going to dog parks regularly since she was a puppy with zero incidents. I work from home and am more than happy to have more furrballs running around the house, plus, my dog would love the company! Thanks! I have a fenced in yard in a private neighborhood with walking paths and no main road nearby, it is also directly adjacent to a large park with a dog park.
About: Your dog will feel pampered, spoiled and loved, and will be treated like a member of our family during their stay. I have had dogs all of my life, usually two or three at a time. I know how to take care of puppies and seniors alike, and every age in between. I am a dog rescuer, and a foster mom whenever possible. I will take dogs up to 15 lbs. only. Each dog has a personality as unique and as individual as people. Their likes, dislikes and habits will be catered to as closely as possible during their stay. Let's schedule a meet and greet to decide if we are a good fit. Drop off and pick-up hours are 10 am - 6 pm. Outside of these hours will be $10, or feel free to reserve an extra day. Fee includes per night, for 24 hour period. Anything past an extra 2 hours will be billed at 1/2 day. Day care covers a 10 hour stay; every hour over is $10. Requirements: >neutered >proof of up-to-date vaccines >flea/tick prevention >friendly with other dogs >food I am home full-time. Errands would never be more than 1-2 hours. Potty breaks are 0-2 hours throughout entire day, up until late in the evening. I require a Meet & Greet with any new client to make sure they get along with my two sweet dogs. They will always be supervised when out in the fenced yard. They can stay in, play or cuddle on the couch - whatever their heart desires. Please bring your fur baby's food, favorite toys, treats, beds, a harness, and a collar with up-to-date tags, including their name!

About: I am a physical therapy student looking to make alittle money during this time. I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I am a proud cat and dog mom of a 6-year-old black lab that I have raised since she was a puppy and a 3-year-old cat. About: I’ve volunteered several summers in row washing kennels and food bowls playing with the kittens and post them on social media to help get them adopted. About: Even though I am relatively new to having a kitten, I have learned so much from it and I have certainly done my research to make sure my kitty is always happy and healthy. I’ve never owned a dog, but I have been constantly around them from a young age because most of my friends and family have them.
