“We left our 16-year-old cat, Mittens, in Marina's care for a week. We live in Southwest Florida but were spending a week in Vilano Beach. We wanted Mittens close to us in case there were any issues as she is an elderly cat. Marina did an excellent job caring for Mittens and giving her the attention she craves. Marina updated us several times throughout the day with photos and messages. We have never left Mittens with anyone before, but she was very comfortable with Marina and her family and made herself right at home. It really relieved our anxiety about leaving Mittens by seeing in the photos how relaxed she was with this family. Mittens even got along well with their little dog. I wish we lived closer to Marina as we would definitely use her again. If we ever find ourselves in St Augustine and need a pet sitter, we will call Marina.”

We had a delay due to this government shutdown with our flight and could not get home for an extra day, she was able to keep the dogs an extra day, no issues. She also sent tons of pictures over thier stay, saw that our 1 dog had a loose molar and informed us immediately, she is very observant and very caring to our dogs. If you ever need a sitter and she is available, hands down she is your sitter. I dread using another sitter if she is not ever available.”

About: I have had a family dog in my life more years than not. I have always been an animal lover. I especially love dogs and their sweet personalities. I am currently in college, so I typically have a class in the morning and am available the remainder of the day, with some exceptions. I do not typically work during the week so I will have wide availability. I love taking the dogs on walks and playing with them. I do have a soft spot for elderly dogs, but do love walking and playing with younger, energetic dogs as well. I've volunteered at the humane society for fostering, so I can take care of kittens as well if needed. I have a very open schedule since I just recently graduated. I'm available to come over and check on pets between 9am-9pm any day of the week. I have open availability for house sitting as well, but for more info please feel free to contact me! I always make sure the pets are healthy and happy whenever I see them. I can clean up any messes or accidents they may have made, and I can give medicine in their food or orally. If your pet is a little skittish at first, it's not a problem! I'll let them come to me at their own pace so they won't get scared, and I'll be sure to offer plenty of treats as well.
About: I have a soft spot for all animals and treat all pets as if they were my own. As I grew up around many types of animals since I was a kid, I know how much they mean to us. I make sure they are taken care of and loved! I have full time availability currently. I am usually up around 5/6am so I am happy to do early mornings. I am up for late night drop ins as well if needed. I do not have a yard but I love to take the dogs to parks and walk around. If they are potty trained, I am more than happy to keep them in my house.

About: I've been around animals my whole life, and love them dearly. I watch out for them like they are my own kids. I'm trustworthy and hard-working. I've lived with cats, hamsters, horses, a Golden Retriever, a Dalmatian (with pups!), and several mixed breed and smaller dogs throughout the years; and am looking forward to calling your little BFF a friend of mine too! I am a 42 year old mother of three. My eldest daughter is 22, my son is 17, and my youngest daughter is 1 and a half. I've been doing Rover on the side for several years now, and have met all kinds of pets. I'm always glad to be able to help families out while they're away by taking care of their dear furry friends. Originally from Middle Tennessee, my family and I recently moved to St Augustine, Florida, and are still trying to get established. Love the area very much, and hope to spend the rest of our lives here. I'm currently only doing drop-in visits for dogs as I had fleas brought in a couple of times that were passed onto other dogs. I'm sorry that I can't offer that service anymore, but I don't want to go through that again. I am also glad to keep (or do drop-in visits) for cats, rodents, and birds for a lower rate...also drop-ins for livestock, with the rate depending on the job. Dinosaurs are a little extra ;o) I just had a new baby and am on a leave of absence from my job with Metro Schools. I am available most any time for drop-in visits and walks. I will follow your instructions for their feeding and/or care and take the same precautions for their safety as I would take with my own pets.

When I’m home it’s unrestricted access and with your babies. When I work I work from 9-4 in JAX. It it’s flexible and I’ll pay to have someone let your guys out if we need a mid-day walk. I pay for my girl to get a walk. I go for walks multiple times a day. My pug is chill and doesn’t worry about other animals. I only feed dry dog food, but will do anything for your babes.
