“Sarah was amazing and kept me up to date on my pup throughout the whole weekend and I was nervous my dog wasn’t gunna want to come home because she was having so much fun! Highly recommend her 🐾”

“Bridget was awesome! Took great care of our dog, sent daily pics, and allowed us to vacation with no worries about the pup! Would definitely recommend her and will be using her again in the future, for sure!!”

“Dani did a great job with our pups. They seemed really comfortable in her home and all the doggie toys that she provided for them. We will definitely leave them with her again!”

“We left our 16-year-old cat, Mittens, in Marina's care for a week. We live in Southwest Florida but were spending a week in Vilano Beach. We wanted Mittens close to us in case there were any issues as she is an elderly cat. Marina did an excellent job caring for Mittens and giving her the attention she craves. Marina updated us several times throughout the day with photos and messages. We have never left Mittens with anyone before, but she was very comfortable with Marina and her family and made herself right at home. It really relieved our anxiety about leaving Mittens by seeing in the photos how relaxed she was with this family. Mittens even got along well with their little dog. I wish we lived closer to Marina as we would definitely use her again. If we ever find ourselves in St Augustine and need a pet sitter, we will call Marina.”

“So we needed Christine again, and she was awesome again. We had a delay due to this government shutdown with our flight and could not get home for an extra day, she was able to keep the dogs an extra day, no issues. She also sent tons of pictures over thier stay, saw that our 1 dog had a loose molar and informed us immediately, she is very observant and very caring to our dogs. If you ever need a sitter and she is available, hands down she is your sitter. I dread using another sitter if she is not ever available.”

“Tracy is a wonderful caretaker. This was Rosie’s first time with her. Tracy really focused on my dog, and spent time with her to make sure was happy and having fun. She left me a lot of updates to reassure me throughout the day. I know my dog was well taken care of and had fun at her home.”

About: I have had a family dog in my life more years than not. I have always been an animal lover. I especially love dogs and their sweet personalities. I am currently in college, so I typically have a class in the morning and am available the remainder of the day, with some exceptions. I do not typically work during the week so I will have wide availability. I love taking the dogs on walks and playing with them. My apartment has a dog park which is also fun to let them run around and play at.
“Lisa treated Millie like she was her own. Lots of walks and attention. After I put her in the car, Lisa said goodbye to her and she leaned towards her instead of focusing on me. We’ll be back!”

“Amelia is great! This is our first time using Rover and based on her reviews, we went with her. We are so glad we met her! She was amazing with Jojo, he is very hyper (we are working on it), and she was so patient and helpful. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and it shows in her care. We will definitely be using her again!!! Thank you Amelia!”

“Mariana was attentive and loving to my Goldendoodle, Oceana. I was in a predicament and needed to go to the ER with a family member, and she agreed to watch Oceana for extra time if it was necessary. I felt comfortable leaving her with Mariana and will ask her to watch Oceana again. Thank you Mariana.”

“This was my first experience to Rover. Com. It was a last minute situation. Laura contacted me immediately. Laura welcomed my Annie into her home as part of the family. She kept me updated and sent daily pictures. Her love and devotion to my pup was unbelievable. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for excellent care. If we bring Annie on our next trip i will Definitely call Laura!!!”

“We have completed another visit. Everything went smooth as expected, Rebecca and Michael did a great job keeping us informed through the stay and plent of pictures of them having fun. For real, of you need a sitter they are an absolutely top notch sitter.”

“She was a great last minute sitter! We traveled to Florida with our dog and he didn’t adjust well to the hotel, so she kept my dog while we went to a concert. She responds quickly, and her family is great! She has a loving dog of her own and the dogs had a great time playing!”

“She settled right in and is very happy! Thank you so much for your kind and generous care of our little girl. We will definitely call again if we need a safe place for her.”

“An absolute joy to have our dog spend time with Denise! She is amazing, kept us informed with pics and nice notes each day. Would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone wanting a loving and caring sitter for your pet.”

“I told Mary how nervous I was about her walking Hank because he is so reactive to other dogs and people she is amazing and so caring and made me feel sooo comfortable. 1000% recommend trusting her with your sweet pets!”

“Heather will be our go-to cat sitter from here on out. Right after moving to St. Augustine, we had a pre planned wedding in Europe for 2 weeks. Heather did everything we asked and so much more, even watering our plants and adding to the fish tank reservoir, which was beyond appreciated—our home has a lot of life in it! She sent photos of both of our babies each visit, gave a good summary of how they’re doing and how the visit went, and even swept up for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. On the last day, one of our babies locked herself in the restroom, and as soon as I saw it on camera, I texted Heather and she was at the house within 15 minutes. Look no further—Heather is the best!!”

“5/5 – Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! 🌟 Molly was an absolute gem as our cat and house sitter. From the moment we met for the meet & greet, she came across as so professional, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — she instantly put our minds at ease. She asked all the right questions, took detailed notes, and made us feel completely confident leaving our home and our shy boy, Black Fury, in her hands. During the sit, she went above and beyond in every way. Black Fury (who normally hides from anyone new for days) warmed up to her beautifully — I still can’t quite believe it! We received lovely regular updates with little stories about their day, which meant the world to us while we were away. Our home was looked after with such care, everything was spotless, and it honestly felt like Molly was just another member of the household. We are so grateful to have found someone so trustworthy, kind, and capable. It was truly a pleasure having her in our home, and we would welcome her back with open arms in a heartbeat. We’re already looking forward to booking her again next time we travel! Thank you so much, Molly — you’re the best! 🐾🏡”

“Fantastic!! She kept the space tidy, and completed the tasks we asked, wonderfully. She CLEARLY has a love for animals, and we will definitely use her again! Responsible, mature, trustworthy - 12/5 stars! ⭐️”

“Willy Woo took a liking to Renee immediately during the meet and greet . He looked extremely content in the pictures and I was glad that he showed up for his “photo shoot” and his cookies,. Renee was also able to do the outdoor drop ins during the times requested and followed all of the instructions to a T. Thank you so much for taking care of Willie Woo, Paula.”

“Briana was so sweet to our kitty and sent us plenty of photos everyday. Bebe seemed to have really enjoyed herself!:) Thank you again for watching our sweet girl!”

“Having Michelle watch Minnie was awesome! Minnie is such a shy kitty, but warmed up to her immediately. Michelle sent detailed updates and photos — I never worried about Minnie while we were gone. We will definitely book with her again anytime we travel!”

About: I have worked at a doggy boarding and daycare facility for eight years. I have been managing for three of those eight years. I have cared for numerous breeds and dogs of all ages. I do have a soft spot for elderly dogs, but do love walking and playing with younger, energetic dogs as well. As a result of my years of experience, I am capable of giving all forms of medication, making meals (dry, canned, homemade, raw, etc), and I have worked with dogs and cats of all temperaments. I have started this little business because I have seen how much happier pets are when they are cozy at home compared to a boarding facility, especially if they are prone to anxiety when they are away from home. I, myself, own a corgi named Clancy. He is a very happy little boy. I am off from my other job from Wednesday afternoon to Saturday. I have appointments every other Thursday from 11 to 1:30, but aside from that, I'm free. Walking and drop-ins work best for my schedule as they are the most flexible jobs offered here. I will walk your dogs wherever you feel comfortable. If they have a beloved route, I will keep them on it. During drop-ins, I will adhere to any instructions you have. At my place of work, I follow food and care instructions (that always vary) daily.

About: I have been around cats my whole life. We had some as kids and as my own family has grown. I have helped with fostering. My kids and I know how to help and meet the needs of cats. We help with friends and family and even outdoor cats.
About: I provide calm, attentive and reliable care for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages — including puppies, seniors and dogs who need a slower, more grounded presence. I currently care for five dogs of my own, all with different personalities and needs, so I’m very comfortable managing routines, walks, feeding schedules, medications and individual care. I pay close attention to a dog’s emotional state and adjust pace, structure and energy accordingly. My approach is steady and respectful. Dogs tend to settle quickly with me and many clients tell me their dogs are calmer and happier after our walks. I prioritize safety, communication and consistency and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I’m able to be flexible with scheduling. I plan my days to ensure dogs receive consistent attention, exercise, and care without rushing. I prioritize safety, clear routines, and calm handling at all times. I follow owner instructions carefully, use secure leashes, and pay close attention to each dog’s comfort, behavior, and surroundings, whether in my home or theirs.

As I currently work from home and I’m an dog owner, I'm used to structuring my day around walks, exercise, feeding schedules, playtime, and providing consistent care and attention. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and home. “My smart lock was not working and Ariana contacted me immediately to figure out how to resolve the issue to ensure my dog was taken care of. She is so considerate and an excellent sitter.”

“Great communication before, during and after visit. Kitty had all the accommodations he needed and warmed up to the home and other pets just fine which is a huge green flag :) will book again”

About: Through volunteer work with a cat rescue organization, I’ve provided hands-on care for stray and highly timid cats. Working with both rescue cats and my own has given me a strong understanding of cat behavior, routines, and body language. I’ve been around cats since I was a baby and currently have three of my own. I’ve also cared for cats with special needs who required daily oral medication, so I’m familiar with medication administration. Keeping litter boxes clean is second nature, and I pay close attention to routines, behavior changes, litter box habits, and all the small details that help keep cats healthy, comfortable, and stress-free.

“Hazen is the best. I have two male cats and they fell in love with her. Hazen sat and played with my boys each day she was here, she not only empties the cat boxes she swept up the cat litter that was on the floor. I would definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve volunteered several summers in row washing kennels and food bowls playing with the kittens and post them on social media to help get them adopted. I have two dogs of my own and have taken care of multiple animals at once. I can and will gladly work any day and I will care for your furry family as if they are my own. Your furry friends are safe in my care! However, I do work a 1-10pm job, typical 8 hour shifts! I take my dog for regular walks and to the groomers I brush him daily and make sure he is comfortable in his harness and leash. I am able to effectively use commands that your dog is used to. And can give tips are effective ways of to teach commands and keeping them safe and happy.

About: What sets me apart is consistency, structure, and attention to detail. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dependable, hands-on care throughout the day—not just quick drop-ins. I’m especially strong at maintaining routines, which helps pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and small changes so I can adjust care in real time. I’m experienced with: • Puppies and reinforcing basic routines (potty schedules, crate familiarity, structured play) • Adult dogs with regular exercise and enrichment needs • Senior pets who require a slower pace, patience, and closer monitoring • Multi-pet households with different needs and personalities Clear communication is a big priority for me—I provide regular updates and photos so owners always feel confident their pet is in good hands. I work from home and manage a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent care and attention throughout the day. I structure my routine to accommodate pet needs first—whether that means morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening care. I am available for weekday and weekend bookings, including repeat schedules. Because I’m not tied to a traditional 9–5 outside the home, I can maintain reliable routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and any specific needs before care begins. In my home: • Pets are supervised and kept in a calm, clean environment • I maintain a structured routine to reduce stress and keep pets comfortable • I avoid overcrowding to ensure each pet gets proper attention In clients’ homes: • I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, medication, and routines • I respect your home and keep everything clean and secure • I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any signs of discomfort so I can respond quickly if anything seems off.
“Tracy is an exceptional caregiver. I have a 15 year old miniature pinscher that Tracy took care of for the day recently. Throughout the day, Tracy checked in with me via text, sending pics of my chilled out dog. I knew my dog was comfortable and calm when Tracy sent a pic of her begging for snacks. When I picked up my dog later that afternoon, she was relaxed and sleepy. Tracy is a consummate professional. After I contacted her about day care, we had a meet and greet so my dog could get acquainted with her. Tracy was on time and exhibited kindness and trustworthiness from the get go. She loves dogs and it showed. I hope to use her day care service again because I know my dog will be well taken care of. Compassion, kindness, and trustworthiness are qualities that Tracy possesses in abundance. I highly recommend her.”

“Great communication before and during his stay, sent pics to see how Bear was doing throughout the day. Very clean house and beautiful and safe fenced back yard. Bear had a great time staying there and played with another friendly dog, came home tired. We highly recommend Brittany and will use her services again in the future.”

“Lovely family who went above and beyond to ensure my fur baby had fresh air and undivided attention. Excellent and prompt communication. Safe and reliable caregivers.”

“Katie was wonderful with Bella! She took her on a walk, played with her, made sure she stayed entertained, and even gave her some nap time. I really appreciated the detailed updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while Bella was in her care. Katie is so friendly, personable, and clearly loves what she does. Bella had a great time, and I felt completely comfortable leaving her in Katie’s care. I would absolutely recommend Katie to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter! 🐾💕”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I have experience with senior dogs as well as crazy hipper dogs who just want attention. I am structured and kind and prefer pets to people. I own my own business and am available to board your pups all days of the week and weekends. I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I have raised golden retrievers but now only have one black lab (Starlight) and I understand the stress of leaving our fur babies. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly dog. I can crate your dog if that is your wishes but my dog is friendly. I have an 8 year old black lab.
About: I've had pets, both cats and dogs for most of my life. For the last ten years, I've had a Great Pyrenees mix and her cat sister, and also have a spunky four year old male cat. All are incredibly friendly and social, and used to friends and family bringing their pets over all the time. I have a relatively large, two story, 4BR with office house with a fenced in yard in a private neighborhood located adjacent to Treaty Park and the dog park there. My dog is very social and has been going to dog parks regularly since she was a puppy with zero incidents. I work from home and am more than happy to have more furrballs running around the house, plus, my dog would love the company! Thanks! I have a fenced in yard in a private neighborhood with walking paths and no main road nearby, it is also directly adjacent to a large park with a dog park.
“Christina was amazing with Max! He was so happy, relaxed, and felt completely at home with her. It’s clear she truly cares for the fur babies she looks after, and Max was comfortable from the very start. I’d highly recommend Christina to anyone looking for someone caring and trustworthy.”

About: Animals are the best. 😍 My fiance and I have had dogs that love running and dogs that have needed a little convincing to get on a walk. We are patient with dogs and love making them happy! We are both athletic but fully capable of having a chill night at home. My car is dog-friendly (Toyota RAV4) along with our home. Our neighborhood is safe and we have sidewalks surrounding us. I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for instead of treating them like “just another booking.” I’m also comfortable caring for pets with different energy levels and needs, including: * Puppies who need patience, consistency, potty breaks, and structure * Senior pets who may need slower walks, extra comfort, medication reminders, or gentle care * Shy or anxious pets who need time, calm energy, and reassurance * Active dogs who benefit from playtime, walks, and engagement I just moved from New Jersey to St. Augustine. I use to pet sit and walk dogs for my neighbors so looking to build my client list here! I have full time availability. About: Hi, I’m Catie! I work full-time from home and love spending my free time outdoors with animals whenever I can. My family and friends joke that I “disappear” in public because I’ll stop to greet every dog I see or, if I’m out on a run, I’ll randomly pause just to say hi to cats sitting outside along the way. Being active and around pets is a big part of my lifestyle, which makes pet care a natural fit for me. I take care instructions seriously and focus on making sure each pet feels comfortable, stays on their normal routine, and is happy and well cared for. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, including senior pets, shy or anxious animals, and those with special health needs. I’m comfortable with senior care, special diets, and helping animals who need extra patience to warm up. I also have volunteer experience with a rescue organization, along with hands-on experience administering medications and managing special diets. Keeping litter boxes clean is second nature to me, and I understand how important cleanliness and consistency are for cats. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to adjust my availability as needed. You’ll also get regular updates, photos, and clear communication. I’m basically that person who can’t resist taking pictures of photogenic pets, so expect a lot of cute photo spam too. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine since I have pets of my own and am used to keeping up with schedules, routines, and all the day-to-day care that comes with them. Since I work from home, I also have the flexibility to fit visits into my day more easily than someone with a more structured work schedule. I’m very intuitive with animals and usually pick up quickly on their moods, comfort levels, and personalities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow their usual routine as closely as I can, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box care, and any other instructions. I also pay close attention to behavior and comfort to make sure they’re getting the care and attention they need while their favorite human is away.

Currently, I am a grad student at USAHS enrolled in the OTD program. I have class Monday-Friday but am not gone for longer than 3-4 hours a day. About: Growing up, I've always had animals in the house. Cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, bearded dragons— you name it. If your pet is a little skittish at first, it's not a problem! I'll let them come to me at their own pace so they won't get scared, and I'll be sure to offer plenty of treats as well.

Currently pursuing my LVT certification, I bring extensive medical knowledge and genuine love for every furry friend I meet. As a proud pet parent myself, I understand how important trust and compassion are when caring for your pets.💖 With a flexible 4-day work week at my clinic, and I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings to give your pets the care they deserve. 🐶🐱 When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep their environment and routine as normal as possible. I make sure they’re fed, walked, and loved just as you would, and I’m comfortable giving medications or extra care if needed. I’ll treat your space with respect and your pets like family!🤗
“I used Adrienne when i was injured and couldnt take my pup for a walk. She's great with my little dog who gets separation anxiety when he leaves for his walks.”

About: I've been around animals my whole life, and love them dearly. I watch out for them like they are my own kids. I'm trustworthy and hard-working. I've lived with cats, hamsters, horses, a Golden Retriever, a Dalmatian (with pups!), and several mixed breed and smaller dogs throughout the years; and am looking forward to calling your little BFF a friend of mine too! I am a 42 year old mother of three. My eldest daughter is 22, my son is 17, and my youngest daughter is 1 and a half. I've been doing Rover on the side for several years now, and have met all kinds of pets. I'm always glad to be able to help families out while they're away by taking care of their dear furry friends. Originally from Middle Tennessee, my family and I recently moved to St Augustine, Florida, and are still trying to get established. Love the area very much, and hope to spend the rest of our lives here. I'm currently only doing drop-in visits for dogs as I had fleas brought in a couple of times that were passed onto other dogs. I'm sorry that I can't offer that service anymore, but I don't want to go through that again. I am also glad to keep (or do drop-in visits) for cats, rodents, and birds for a lower rate...also drop-ins for livestock, with the rate depending on the job. Dinosaurs are a little extra ;o) I just had a new baby and am on a leave of absence from my job with Metro Schools. I am available most any time for drop-in visits and walks. I will follow your instructions for their feeding and/or care and take the same precautions for their safety as I would take with my own pets.
About: As an animal lover and pet owner myself, I have had the joy of caring for cats and dogs for many years. I have experience in feeding, walking, and caring for young and old pets, and in doing so I have earned the trust in neighbors, friends, and family. I am excited to bring the same care to you and your pets! I am currently staying at home and caring for my son, so my schedule is pretty open for the time of day that is needed. I care for pets by checking up on them for whatever is needed. If they need to be walked, checked on, or in need of some love. I love animals and would do anything that they need to thrive!
About: I love animals. I understand how much work they can be but also know how much love they provide. Whether you work long hours or travel for work, let me help. I love being outside, the park and the beach. I can throw a ball or snuggle with the best. I have no problem giving baths and grooming needs. I am responsible, reliable, punctual, loving, and caring. I can walk to your house downtown.I have no problem coming to your home and caring for your pets. I have a pooch of my own. It is easier for me to come to you. I would love to be a part of your doggy routine whether it is daily, weekly, monthly, or as you need it. I am here for your convenience! Currently only working part time. My schedule is flexible to meet your needs. I can do multiple drop ins in a day or stay at your house to help in whatever way your fur baby needs! My biggest concern is the welfare of your animals. I don’t want to be without food or clean water and your fur babies shouldn’t have to either.
About: I’m a medical professional and animal lover lover with a huge heart for dogs, farm animals, lizards, and more! I have extensive practical experience at a vet clinic, at ranches and my own pets. Let me love yours! Over 15 years experience with professional care, but 30+ with my own dogs. Majored in animal science in college with neuro-psych doctorate. I’ll bathe, clip nails, and brush. I have a large yard and safe places to walk. I work from home part time but ant an hospital part time. Sometimes (rarely though) I go away for the weekend to go camping and site seeing. Your babies are welcome to come. They will hike and smell fresh air also. If traveling together, I like to give them a safety harness so they are secure and safe in the car. When I’m home it’s unrestricted access and with your babies. When I work I work from 9-4 in JAX. It it’s flexible and I’ll pay to have someone let your guys out if we need a mid-day walk. I pay for my girl to get a walk. I go for walks multiple times a day. My pug is chill and doesn’t worry about other animals. I only feed dry dog food, but will do anything for your babes.

“Tracy is a wonderful caretaker. This was Rosie’s first time with her. Tracy really focused on my dog, and spent time with her to make sure was happy and having fun. She left me a lot of updates to reassure me throughout the day. I know my dog was well taken care of and had fun at her home.”

“She was a great last minute sitter! We traveled to Florida with our dog and he didn’t adjust well to the hotel, so she kept my dog while we went to a concert. She responds quickly, and her family is great! She has a loving dog of her own and the dogs had a great time playing!”

“She sent videos of the dogs getting along with her dog several times. I was very nervous because my doodles are rescues. Lucia likes other dogs. Rosie not so much. My dogs are rescues that were bred. They tend to reject males at a point which stops their use to breed. Stephanie knew this and eased my mind. My dogs love her and her family. It was a perfect fit!”

“Mary was great! Took good care of our boys, kept us updated, and returned the boys happy and tired ! Love her set up in the house , very dog friendly and her yard was clearly set up w animals in mind! Will definitely book again.”

“Rosangely is amazing. She communicated through the entire stay, kept me updated when anything was going on, and overall just a very calm, sweet person. Your pets will enjoy their time with her.”

“Zola had a great time with Madison and her mom, and their dogs. She was happy and tired when I picked her up. Madison sent me pictures throughout her stay. I felt good about leaving Zola there, they seemed very caring. Would definitely use again when in town.”

“Highly recommended! The best of the best dog sitter in town!! She accepted my dog last minute with pure love and joy and made me feel at ease knowing he was left in the best care for a trip I had for 10 days and I’m a picky person to just leaving my dog to anyone but she went above and beyond she sent me daily check ups and photos and I could tell my dog had amazing experience and I will def use again!!! Thank you so much Nicole for all your love and care for my pet which is my family!”

“We had a very positive experience leaving Riley with Taqueria and her family. They gave her lots of love, took her on walks and communicated well via text and photos. We would definitely use her services again!”
