About: At K9s Only West LA, our goal is to provide a happy, healthy, and safe environment for your pet when they're away from home. We're pleased to offer the Health Care Commitment Program, which reimburses up to $500 for eligible expenses incurred during your pet’s stay. Enrollment is automatic when your pet attends daycare, covering treatments or diagnoses for incidents that occur during their stay or within 5 days after departure. If veterinary care is needed, we’ll attempt to consult with your pet’s primary vet. If unavailable, we work with local veterinarians to address any medical issues.

About: I grew up with two little dachshund mixes from age 10-moving away from home. During the lockdown years, I helped my mom train her two golden retrievers, and now our family gatherings have 4+ dogs at every event! Currently, I live with my girlfriend and our cat, Olive. Olive prefers to keep to herself, but we have a dog park on site and plenty of walking routes nearby! I’m currently working part time, so I am pretty flexible on walking/sitting! I love being active, so if your dog likes to be moving, I’m all for it. But if your friend likes to just chill, we can do that too. In our apartment, we have separate rooms that can be opened/closed as needed. We typically let all pet friends roam free, but if you have any preferences, that is completely fine! The dog park is within our apartment complex and is completely gated with double gates.

A few years ago I helped my sister raise her terrier puppy mix named Fergus (who I occasionally still pet-sit!) and I now have my own sweet boy named Frankie. Frankie was adopted and has a bit of separation anxiety due to his unstable background. Because of this I very rarely leave him home alone, so it would be the same for your pup! Frankie has taught me so much about caring for a dog - from patience to structure and routine to unconditional love.
