About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years my own, my family’s, and friends’. I’ve walked and cared for rescues, puppies, seniors, and dogs with big personalities. I currently have a well-behaved rescue dog and previously had a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix and a Siberian Husky, so I’m confident with both large and small breeds. I’ve also cared for multiple family members’ and friends’ dogs in my home or theirs, including Samoyeds, Chiweenies, Pomskys, Great Pyrenees, Pitbull mixes and more. I understand dogs deeply, and I know how to help them feel comfortable, cared for, and at home whether I’m walking them, house-sitting, or boarding them with me. I’m currently not working and have a very open schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I walk my own rescue dog Jax every day, and I genuinely enjoy being outside and staying active. I’ve been looking for meaningful ways to fill my time, and caring for animals is something I love and find personally rewarding. I’m available most weekdays and weekends and can be flexible with timing. I also plan to take a short maternity leave starting late December, but I’m fully available until then and I’ll be back soon after! Your pet’s comfort and safety come first in my home. I have a fully fenced backyard, and my own dog, Jax, is a friendly and submissive rescue who gets along well with all other dogs. My home is pet-friendly, clean, and calm, and I can easily accommodate crate-trained dogs or follow your pup’s specific routine. I also have extensive experience house-sitting and caring for dogs in their own environment, which I know can be comforting for some pets. Whether at my home or yours, I create a space where pets feel safe, relaxed, and loved. I love keeping dogs active and engaged! For pups who enjoy walks, I take them on fun neighborhood strolls, and if they’re staying at my home, they can enjoy playtime in my fully fenced backyard. I also tailor activities based on the dog’s personality whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, or just cozy snuggles on the couch. I’m all about making sure your dog feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! And I’ll be sure to send you photos and updates on your pups throughout the day :)

My partner doesn’t work from home, but when he’s here, he’s everyone’s favorite ball-thrower and treat-giver. Your pup will be treated like part of the family—chicken supervision included. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which means your dog won’t be left alone for long, if at all. They’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day—walks, playtime, snuggles, and whatever else makes them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I have a fenced yard, a sweet dog named Tillie, and two backyard chickens. We keep a calm, safe environment for everyone—your dog will be cared for like family.

About: I currently own 3 Golden Retrievers with my significant other. Over the years we have also had a Lab Golden mix and an Australian Shepherd. I volunteer for a nonprofit Retriever rescue and have fostered many dogs through the organization, and for the past 8 yrs I have served as a Medical Intake Manager for the rescue. I absolutely love dogs and treat all dogs like they were my own. Our home sits on 1.25 acres which includes about 1/4 acres of fenced woods with trails, our own private wooded dog park! We also have a medium sized fenced backyard with grass. Our 3 dogs are super dog friendly and love to play. We have a 2 & 6 yrs old spayed female Goldens and a 5 yr old neutered male Golden. We live in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street with lots of private roads for dog walks. I have a very flexible work from home job and am always here to attend to your pups needs. The dog would get lots of attention throughout the day and be able to play and have lots of fun here! We have a fenced medium sized backyard, and our back woods are fenced as well which is accessible by a separate gate. I have XL wire crates on hand and can crate if needed. Super experienced dog owner from my previous fostering experiences.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs for over 15 years while they are out of town. Not every dog is the same or needs the same amount of care. I work from home so my schedule is really flexible. I can make most requests work for your needs. Being patient with older dogs is not a problem! I have a fully fenced yard. Case by case basis for dogs taken in my home- send me a message and we can figure something out.

About: I grew up with dogs since age 5 and always had a soft spot in my heart for the runts of the litter. I work as a physical therapist assistant and have even provided care for my own dogs when they got hurt. We currently have two small dogs (2 yrs and 4 months) but have taken care of several senior dogs in the past few years. My husband and I love spending time updating our house and going on bike rides with the dogs to stay active. I currently work part time (Tuesday-Thursday) but my husband works from home full-time. We are home most weekends while we update our house/land so the dogs get plenty of exercise and stimulation. We let our dogs outside every 1-2 hours for short potty breaks, or an hour supervised since our yard isn't fully fenced. Our dogs are fed a couple times a day, and are crated at night but free to roam the house if we leave for a short time. We give them dog treats/bones but do not feed them food from the table in order to support their digestive health and maintain boundaries.

About: 2 Story Home, fully fenced & very safe back yard. I am married with a dog (Lab) of my own. I take pride in our home and would do the same with yours, I don't mind helping with chores if needed as well. Dogs are family to us; we wouldn't want it any other way. Your dog would be treated as one of our own. You can rest easy knowing your dog or cat is being very well taken care of. I am responsible, reliable and honest. I do not do Rover pet sitting for the money, I do it to help others and because I absolute love all animals and truly enjoy being around them and caring for them, all ages and breeds! I started Rover after we took a vacation and found out firsthand how hard it is to find truly reliable people to pet sit. It was an awful experience and I wanted to change that for others. We need more passionate & responsible people offering pet sitting and I figured I would be part of that change. I want to contribute to our community and also reduce the number of animals which end up in rescues or shelters. Sometimes this happens due to lack of available care. We have a fully fenced yard (actually double fenced), your dog can go out or come in as needed. If you prefer to have your dog crated, just let me know your preference and adjustments can be made.
