“My wife, Dongmei, and I recently boarded our Golden Retriever, Sagan, with Janessa for an overnight stay. Sagan just turned one year old, and this was the first time we had ever left him with someone other than family, so we were naturally a little nervous. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. Janessa took great care of Sagan and made him feel right at home. It was clear he had a fantastic time playing with Janessa's dogs and the other dogs she was boarding. When we picked him up the next morning, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable in her care. The biggest sign of how much fun he had came afterward. As soon as he got in the car, he completely crashed from all the excitement and activity. Once we got home, he slept for several hours and seemed incredibly content. Any Golden Retriever owner knows that's usually the sign of a very good day. Janessa was friendly, professional, and gave us confidence that Sagan was in great hands. In fact, we felt so good about the experience that we've already booked her to care for Sagan for two weeks while we travel to China later this summer. About: Hi, my name is Hailey and I’m 28 years old. I am currently going to nursing school full time and I am trying to make some extra money on the side to support my family. My husband and I have had our one dog(Kota, female) for 6 years now and another dog(Ash, male) for 4 years. I also have 2 outdoor barn kitties and 8 chickens. I love to homestead, grow my own veggies and read in my spare time. We have had our dog Kota(English-setter, 11 years old) since she was a puppy and my husband and I decided to adopt Ash(boxer, 6 years old) when he was only 1 year old. He was labeled free and the previous owner could not take care of him, plus he was not trained. He had never experienced grass before so when we first got him his paws would bleed and I got the opportunity to help heal him and hone in to correct his bad behavior skills. I would dedicate 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night to train him for a year before he started to trust me and we developed a wonderful relationship like we have with our Kota. I love all of our animal immensely and I believe that animals are not some inanimate object you have but a true companion in your life that deserves to be treated like family. I would love to care for your pet and I can provide some training while doing so in a positive reward environment. About: Hi there my name is Kelsey and I have centered my life around the health and well being of our furry friends. I spent 6 years working in pet insurance and have gained a lot of knowledge about how to create healthy and safe environments for our animals. The key is giving them time to warm up to a new environment, routine care and lots of affection. My own dog turns 15 this year and people still ask me if she is a puppy because of how active and happy she is around others. I always treat every animal as if they are my own and would be honored to do so for your pet too. I spend the majority of my time at home, hanging out in the backyard and have a pretty flexible schedule. We’d go outside at least 5-10 times a day, always early in the morning and right before bed. About: About me: I am a Project Engineer for a construction company, we a have a little boy and a baby on the way, and we LOVE animals! We have two beautiful horses, three wonderful dogs, and two cats. Eventually I would like to rescue a few farm animals and foster dogs. One thing that breaks my heart is seeing animals in the shelter or up for slaughter. I think every animal deserves a second shot at life and I wish I could take them all on. However I have saved a few horses from slaughter and retrained them to give them a promising future! Basically I work hard to give my animals and future animals a wonderful life! In HS I was an active FFA member which gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge from just horses, dogs, and cats to dairy cattle, goats, poultry, rabbits, and swine. I also worked for a large animal veterinarian for 2 years as a vet assistant and gained even more knowledge on how to properly care for ALL animals. Ranging from exotics, livestock, equine, dogs, and cats. So your Fur baby is in GOOD hands! At this time I am only accepting clients for drop in visits or house sitting (I do not stay the night). About: I have always grown up having pets of various kinds including dogs, fish, small frogs, and hermit crabs. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs because I believe they often get overlooked when they deserve a high quality of life, too. (Last year, my family lost our rescue dog of twelve years.) About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. I do have an indoor/outdoor cat, but he is chill and warms up easily. If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. We help each other out! Only excepting smaller to medium sized dogs for new clients currently. I do not have a fenced yard and keep all dogs on a leash whenever I am outside. They are able to run free in my home though!

We do have a cat (Boba) which is very friendly and stays in her own room at night so dogs have the rest of the house over night.

About: I had a Shiba Inu for 11 years and took care of her medications and treatments for cancer for 3 years. She was an escape artist so I’m used to walking dogs every 8 hours on a leash. I work for a school and have a typical 8-4 schedule when I’m at work. I take dogs on long walks after and provide puzzles and games for enrichment. I have a fenced backyard yard. My kitchen, living, and dining room are all pet friendly. I have a medium crate if your dog is crate trained.
About: Hi there my name is Kelsey and I have centered my life around the health and well being of our furry friends. The key is giving them time to warm up to a new environment, routine care and lots of affection. My own dog turns 15 this year and people still ask me if she is a puppy because of how active and happy she is around others. I spend the majority of my time at home, hanging out in the backyard and have a pretty flexible schedule. We’d go outside at least 5-10 times a day, always early in the morning and right before bed. I have a fenced yard on over an acre of land and lots of non-harmful plants that my dogs loves to sniff around. When the dogs are outside I will be right there with them enjoying the afternoon.

I’m Jen — a lifelong animal lover with over 4 years of hands-on experience working at an animal shelter, plus many additional months caring for dogs and other animals on a small farm property. If there’s one thing I truly understand, it’s dogs. Especially the shy, anxious, and misunderstood ones. They hold a very special place in my heart! There is no greater feeling than earning the trust of a dog who needs a little extra patience and understanding. At the shelter I worked with every type of dog imaginable, from easygoing family pups to dogs with more complex needs due to past trauma. I was trusted to walk and handle even the more anxious or sensitive dogs, helping them build confidence and learn to trust new people. I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and adjusting my approach so each dog feels safe, respected, and understood. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity. One of my most special experiences there was helping care for a mama dog who gave birth to a litter of 10 (10!) puppies. I helped care for and socialize those puppies as they grew until they were ready for their forever homes. I also have experience caring for senior animals and understand that older pets often need a little extra patience, gentleness, and attention to their comfort and routine. Beyond dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and bunnies. Over the past few months I’ve helped care for my landlady’s 1yo kitty, and I’m very comfortable providing drop-in care and pet sitting for cats and small animals as well. About: I have been a dog sitter awhile and have gained a lot of experience. I have done overnight stays, check ins, dog walks, and more. I have a puppy of my own and have grown up with dogs my whole life. Neighbors, friends, and more have trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, and play with them. Worked with many different dogs and various ages. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to come check in on the pups and play with them. My work schedule does change depending on the week but I am available every day of the week. I am free mornings and nights and would have time mid day to check in on the dogs. I have a fenced yard for my dog and I walk him twice a day so he can get his energy out. I would walk your dogs how ever much is needed. Additionally, I would make sure to check in on them multiple times outside of my other jobs to ensure that they are good and can be let out. I am comfortable making sure any necessary medication is given on time and that they are also fed at there normal times. I know how much pets need to play and I would love to play fetch and more with your pets!!

“My wife, Dongmei, and I recently boarded our Golden Retriever, Sagan, with Janessa for an overnight stay. Sagan just turned one year old, and this was the first time we had ever left him with someone other than family, so we were naturally a little nervous. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. Janessa took great care of Sagan and made him feel right at home. It was clear he had a fantastic time playing with Janessa's dogs and the other dogs she was boarding. When we picked him up the next morning, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable in her care. The biggest sign of how much fun he had came afterward. As soon as he got in the car, he completely crashed from all the excitement and activity. Once we got home, he slept for several hours and seemed incredibly content. Any Golden Retriever owner knows that's usually the sign of a very good day. Janessa was friendly, professional, and gave us confidence that Sagan was in great hands. In fact, we felt so good about the experience that we've already booked her to care for Sagan for two weeks while we travel to China later this summer. We're grateful to have found Janessa and her family and look forward to having Sagan stay with them again.
