About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level, giving them plenty of affection when they want it and space when they need it.

About: I grew up working on a farm! Not only am I familiar with training puppies and caring for cats, I also know my way around a barn. I have time in the early mornings and evenings to visit your pets! I am also able to house sit and provide daily exercise to any extent you need! I love to go on walks and adventuring in parks. As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for your animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when considering me as your sitter for your pets! :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. If this is something that will work for you and your pet family, please reach out! I usually do a greet & meet before to make sure that everyone is comfortable! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. As the daughter of two veterinarians, I grew up working in a veterinary clinic. More recently, I worked in a dog boarding facility, so I am comfortable caring for animals of all behavior types and physical conditions. I understand how important our pets are to us and I am eager to help ! I work another part time job, and my schedule gives me plenty of openings throughout the week to stop by. I am available Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday on most weeks, but my schedule is flexible. I have a car and am able and willing to drive to clients’ homes within a wide radius. I will treat your home with respect and will leave it cleaner than I left it, if you want. I cannot take care of animals in my own home but I am happy to drive to your home.

I’ve worked with all sorts of pets; from pitty puppies to senior chihuahuas, from kittens to houseplants, as a pet parent myself, I know what it means to be able to leave your fur babies in the care of someone who cares about their wellbeing as much as you do. I am a substitute teacher, meaning my schedule is flexible according to YOUR needs and wants for your ideal pet sitter/walker. The nature of my career allows me to be fully flexible! This means that your pet gets the best care possible, and is my number one priority while they are in my care. In my home, my pets are my babies. I am very particular about who I entrust them with while I am away, so I understand the stress that goes into finding the ideal sitter. I do not use loud voices or sounds with animals, and believe that motivators and positive reinforcements work best. If they do something that might impact the space, I will reach out to you and troubleshoot to the best of my ability, NOT display anger toward them. I am attentive to all grooming and hygiene habits, and even if I am just scheduled for feedings I promise to give them some love and affection/playtime if it seems they’re interested. About: I have been a licensed Veterinary technician for 18 years and live on a working farm. Lots of exercise to be had and room to run. Great experiences are never lacking for your critters. I specifically work with pets with issues but will gladly take on your sweet ad social furry friends as well. I provide care for every type of animal you could imagine. I ALSO DO NAIL TRIMMING AND GROOMING (ask me) Got goats or sheep? I sheer and trim feet too! I just moved off of my friends farm where I helped feed and manage over 300 head of livestock including cattle, bison, zebras, yaks, and miniature donkeys. We have to pay a lot of attention to every animal for herd safety and survival. I thoroughly follow all instructions in order to provide your pets with the best care. I can administer medications, provide in home grooming services and even get your pet medical attention as needed.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up with 3 dogs and taking care of animals is a passion of mine. I have taken care of dogs that have cancer and other health issues so I am comfortable with giving medications and working with challenges that may arise with any dog! I live with a cat that I take care of daily and when I am back home, I am the fulltime caregiver for my 3 dogs. I know a dog's routine and what they need to happy and healthy, and I work around their schedule with anything I have going on. In your home I will respect it and treat it like my own. Any care instructions such as kenneling or a bedtime routine I will follow exactly as they are laid out for me.

About: I have always had a passion for animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, we love going on hikes, going to the park, basically anything. When I'm not at work, I'm always with my girls. I have worked in an animal shelter in the past, and I would love to get more experience working with animals. Who knows, this could be the direction I end up taking my career. I have a little bit of experience with house-sitting/dog-sitting. I am very comfortable handling multiple dogs at a time. My dogs are very friendly and I don't believe I have ever met another dog that they have not gotten along with. They are getting a little grumpy in their old age, but they’re still very sweet! I was working remote and was recently laid off due to outsourcing. So I am home with my dogs every day, we go on walks around our neighborhood and go to dog parks in the area. I have an unfenced yard and 2 dogs and 2 cats. My cats are indoor/outdoor, and they are not shy with dogs. We keep dogs on a lead if they aren’t great off-leash and we have a good little spot to throw the ball.

About: Since I was a child I was raised around all types of animals. I took care of them and raised them. I love putting time and effort into animals and would love to put that effort into your animals. I currently work part time and would love to fill my free time up by spending time with your fur babies. My availability is very open.
