I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! About: I will take exceptional care of your pets as animals are my favorite thing in the world. When people ask me what my "passion" is, the only thing that comes to mind is caring for animals. I have taken care of animals since I was a child. I grew up with 4 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 cats, 2 hamsters, and a bunch of fish. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!

About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! About: My goal is to provide an environment where I would feel good about dropping my pup off at (they are our children after all!). My condo is small but there is no shortage of fuzzy blankets, pets, and walks! Besides my dog, I never host more than one dog in my home at a time. We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. About: Hello! My name is Melina and we have a 4-year old Vizsla, Rasco, who loves to sleep, play and follow us on adventures. Your pup will be treated as one of ours, with lots of play time, attention and cuddles. If you have a high-energy dog, he'll fit right in as well, as I go on longer hikes every day with Rasco. In the winter we often cross country ski and in the summer we bike, hike, go to lakes and anything else that's fun! We've got tons of dog toys and dog beds available. Pets are allowed on furniture, and we don't have/use crates as I will mostly be home and around. If you would like to bring your own crate, that is totally fine as well! We have a fenced in yard with a doggie door too, so they have space to play outside as well when we're not out on a walk or a hike. I am happy to answer other questions you may have, just let me know! I currently am taking time off work and have unlimited availability when in town. I am very flexible and open for new bookings and I would love to help care for your pets going into this spring! I will be going to hikes, walks and other adventures depending on needs. We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, so dogs are always able to get outside anytime. About: Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!

Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable.
