As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for your animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when considering me as your sitter for your pets! :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up with 3 dogs and taking care of animals is a passion of mine. I have taken care of dogs that have cancer and other health issues so I am comfortable with giving medications and working with challenges that may arise with any dog! I live with a cat that I take care of daily and when I am back home, I am the fulltime caregiver for my 3 dogs. I know a dog's routine and what they need to happy and healthy, and I work around their schedule with anything I have going on. In your home I will respect it and treat it like my own. Any care instructions such as kenneling or a bedtime routine I will follow exactly as they are laid out for me.
About: I have always had a passion for animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, we love going on hikes, going to the park, basically anything. When I'm not at work, I'm always with my girls. I have worked in an animal shelter in the past, and I would love to get more experience working with animals. Who knows, this could be the direction I end up taking my career. I have a little bit of experience with house-sitting/dog-sitting. I am very comfortable handling multiple dogs at a time. My dogs are very friendly and I don't believe I have ever met another dog that they have not gotten along with. They are getting a little grumpy in their old age, but they’re still very sweet! I was working remote and was recently laid off due to outsourcing. So I am home with my dogs every day, we go on walks around our neighborhood and go to dog parks in the area. I have an unfenced yard and 2 dogs and 2 cats. My cats are indoor/outdoor, and they are not shy with dogs. We keep dogs on a lead if they aren’t great off-leash and we have a good little spot to throw the ball.
