My baby Makana had a great time at JJ’s house.. Though we didn’t see the host’s interior of the house where the pets are, the pictures she had sent looked clean and safe.. It’s Makana’s first time to socialize with 2 dogs since she turned 2 yrs old due to some health issues when she’s a pup. We thought it’s time for her to explore and find out if she is well adjusted now that she’s an adult. She is as expected to be a little shy but was able to adapt and became comfortable. She is tired and pretty happy bec she had a play date with Zuri ( the host’s furbaby) and another furbaby. I’m glad that JJ has been sending pic and videos of our baby’s socialization activities and so nice of their son to play with the FBabies.. Thank you and will definitely recommend her services.

Teddy Bear, our goldendoodle stayed with Fiona for one week and he had the best time. She made home cooked meals, sent us pictures and videos all the time and treated Teddy like family. Fiona and her family watched Teddy Bear and took extra special care and love! Teddy played with her sons, bubbles and lots of exercise/walks in a very dog friendly neighborhood. He was smiling in the pictures she sent and we could tell Teddy was happy in her care. Best dog sitter ever! We found our dog sitter for every family trip knowing that Teddy had a mini vacation with Fiona’s family too. Thank you so much!

We needed a dog sitter asap while we got our kitchen demolished for renovation. Our 9 month old Shepherd mix had a great time. He played with her dog, he was walked and he took naps throughout the day. I was updated with pictures and videos. It assured our family to know he was in good hands. Thank you so much Elena ❤️ Look forward to bringing our puppy back again when we need your services.

Llona was wonderful. She responded very quickly to my last minute request. My dog definitely perceives the vibe of people and as soon as he met her he happily ran into her home. She sent me photos of her boys playing with our dog...he loves children and you can see they are dog lovers too. She was in good communication while caring for our dog which of course made me feel comfortable...no worry on my part. Funny enough dropping your dog off to a stranger is like dropping your child off ...you want to know they are well cared for and that they feel safe and of course have fun. I would give it an A+ day for his first visit with Llona. And we will def use her again and recommend her!

About: I have over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. In my early years, I trained working for border service, which gave me strong skills in discipline, behavior understanding, and dog communication. Today, our family has three dogs of our own; one senior dog ( 8 years old ), one young and active dog ( 2 years old), and one rescue dog ( approximately 3 years old). All of them are Friendly, well- socialized , and non-aggressive. My daughter and i truly love dogs and treat every pet as part of our family. We provide a safe, calm, and caring environment, whether it's for boarding or daily walks. We are attentive to each dog's need, routines, and personality. I am home full-time, so your dog. I work from home, so your dog will always have attention and care. In the morning, my daughter walks he dogs before school. During the day, I provide walks, playtime, and supervision. In the evening, we usually walk together as a family. We have a safe and comfortable home for dogs. Our dogs are friendly and well-socialized. I always supervise interactions and make sure every dog feels calm and secure. If needed, I can separate dogs to ensure safety and comfort.

About: I have had dogs since my college years. I love animals. I treat them as part of family. Although I no longer have my pup, She was spoiled! She was bathed, fed, walked and has all her needs met. I would take her hiking with me sometimes and she would love it. I really strive to provide a safe and comfortable experience for each pet in my care. I do this by following any special care instructions given carefully and doing my best to keep each pet as close to their normal schedule. I will treat your baby as if she was part of my family. Thank you for considering me to care for your pet(s). I work from home therefore I am able to walk, feed, play and pay attention to your baby. My weekend are usually free and if not I can work around for when I am needed. I live in a home with a huge gated backyard. There is a lot of grass. I can take for a walk around my area and walk to our community park for some extra exercise.

Turbo had a great time with Lily and William. They took great care of him, sent photos and let us know when he ate. He sometimes is too nervous to eat, so the fact that he did means he was comfortable. We made a spontaneous trip to Six Flags and appreciated how quickly Lily responded. They were about 10 min north. We will definitely visit Lily again next time we head south and make a stop by Six Flags!

About: I’m an animal communicator with a deep, intuitive connection to animals — I don’t just care for your pets, I actually listen to them. I’ve spent my life alongside dogs of all temperaments, sizes, and needs, including my own two girls, Daisy and Chloe. I understand animal behavior, body language, and emotional wellbeing on a level that goes beyond feeding and walks. Senior pets, anxious dogs, and strong-willed characters are my specialty. Your fur family will be safe, seen, and genuinely loved while you’re away. I’m currently available full time through mid-September, making this a great time to book! After that I take on seasonal evening work Thursday through Sunday, so I’m still available for daytime care and drop-ins year round. I’ll always be upfront about my schedule so you can plan with confidence. My home is warm, relaxed, and animal-friendly with a fenced yard. We did hospice for a number of dogs and cats from 2014 to 2025, so we installed Life Proof floors and have furniture to accommodate the older ones. My two dogs, Daisy and Chloe, are social, dog-park regulars who welcome new friends easily. I have crates available for large dogs if needed.

About: I provide compassionate drop-in visits , boarding and walking services tailored to your pet's specific needs. With 26 years of experience in animal care and a current role in a Veterinary Hospital, I offer a level of medical expertise that goes beyond standard pet sitting. Whether your pet requires oral medication, insulin injections, or subcutaneous fluids, you can rest assured they are in capable hands. I come from a long lineage of British Veterinarians and have a keen eye for recognizing medical emergencies. I pride myself on being organized, clean, and highly communicative, providing detailed updates after every visit. I am available 7 days a week and am happy to follow your specific routines to keep your pets comfortable. (Note: There is an additional fee of $5.00 per additional cat.) Whether you need daily drop-in visits or overnight boarding, I have you covered 7 days a week. I have spent 27 years caring for animals and recently moved my boarding services to a large home in Stevenson Ranch. To ensure every guest feels safe, we provide a thoughtful layout: cats have their very own dedicated bedroom upstairs, while dogs stay in their own area downstairs. Your pets will also love our spacious, securely fenced backyard. Since I work part-time in West LA, I am available every day for feline drop-in visits in that area. To provide total peace of mind, I work as a team with my daughter, who works from home, allowing us to provide consistent, around-the-clock care for all our boarding and weekend daycare guests. We are also happy to provide pick-up and drop-off services to make the process even easier. Your pet’s routine and safety are my top priorities. I am a diligent communicator who follows your care instructions to the letter. Because I am trained to notice subtle changes in health, I can quickly identify if your pet needs extra attention or professional care. I specialize in accurate medication administration and aim to mirror the care you provide at home. If you have a specific way of doing things, please feel free to share a video or show me in person so I can replicate that routine perfectly.

Fiona was absolutely wonderful with Simba! We left him in her care while we spent the day at Six Flags, and we couldn't have been more relaxed knowing he was in such good hands. She sent ample photo updates throughout the day and kept us informed every step of the way. Simba clearly had a blast on his multiple walks and came home a very happy dog. Fiona is professional, communicative, and truly caring. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Valencia on Rover is $52.73 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 4,222 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Valencia. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Valencia commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 4,222 sitters in Valencia, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
