“The only difficult part of writing this review is finding enough good things to say about Elena. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

“I wish I could give him 100 stars! He was amazing. My family and I were gone for almost nine days and we have three pets including a dwarf hamster. One of our kitties has an issue of peeing outside of the box onto puppy pads. Eric had no problem with that, he sent lots of pictures playing with all the animals and even our shyest kitty who doesn't come out for strangers, came out for him and let him pet her. It’s Makana’s first time to socialize with 2 dogs since she turned 2 yrs old due to some health issues when she’s a pup. We thought it’s time for her to explore and find out if she is well adjusted now that she’s an adult.She is as expected to be a little shy but was able to adapt and became comfortable. She is tired and pretty happy bec she had a play date with Zuri ( the host’s furbaby) and another furbaby. About: I have had dogs my entire life. My daughter and friends rely on me to take care of their fur babies. They know they are loved, cuddled and well taken care of. They are just like part of my family. I am retired and spend time walking several times a day and would love a fur baby friend to hang out with. I lost my fur baby a year ago. Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. About: I’ve retired from my role as Director of Student Housing at CSU, Bakersfield. I’m an active CrossFit coach with lots of flexible time - and I love dogs! I’ve cared for the animals of loved ones for over 20 years. I’ve also helped care for difficult to handle dogs (seniors, aggressive large breeds, small ornery breeds) and loved every minute of it❤️. I had my Maltese/yorkie boy Yanni 20 years before he passed a few years ago. I’ve also assisted in training rescued, often aggressive bully breeds. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats. So, I do not work with any cats or households that have a cat. I am a personal trainer and CrossFit coach for people over 50. I have a 17 year old daughter who loves all animals. I have flexibility, transportation, and time to give. We don’t have dogs of our own at this time. I have a fenced patio area, but I love to walk dogs. I am an attentive, responsible, loving caretaker who will happily take care of all your lovie’s need as you instruct. I can give medication and maintain any schedule or rules that you have at home. We don’t let dogs jump up on our furniture and we’ve found as long as they have a comfy spot they generally don’t protest.
