About: I have been surrounded by dogs since I was 5 years old, and I’ve loved them ever since. I have taken care of my own dog frequently for 7 years, but I have also taken care of dogs for relatives, ranging from puppies to elderly dogs. I am currently living in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY and have open availability for dog walking, and drop in visits for both dogs and cats! In your home, I can crate your dogs as well as keep them safe and comfortable while making sure that there is nothing dangerous to them.

I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur baby, and I’ll treat them like part of the family. I enjoy walks, playtime, and making sure each dog gets plenty of attention and affection. I can’t wait for all the new amazing pets I will get to meet and have the privilege of taking care of! I work full-time 8am- 4pm Monday through Friday, so best with dogs that are comfortable being home alone during the workday. Before and after work, I’ll provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. On evenings and weekends, I’ll have much more time to spend with them! I grew up with dogs and have loved caring for them my entire life. After recently losing my family dog to old age, I want to continue sharing that love by caring for other people’s pets. I provide a safe, loving environment, follow each pet’s routine, and treat every animal like family. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

“Lydia and her family were amazing for our dog’s (George) boarding stay. He’s quite shy around new people and a little skittish, but he warmed up to Lydia very quickly! We knew he was being well cared for while we were away and received plenty of walks, snuggles, and play time. “Lori is excellent! Our energetic golden retriever stayed with Lori for a week. She greeted us at the door and allowed us to settle him in before we left for a week. She has a great, comfortable space for dogs, including a large fenced in yard. She has a friendly dog and was sure to introduce them slowly and safely. She made sure Louie was safe, even removing stuffed toys he might ingest. She takes the dogs for walks, including the dog park. She was a great communicator and even sent pics of the dogs playing. She also gave Louie a bath before we picked him up! We will definitely use Lori again. Couldn’t recommend her more.”
