Lori was fantastic with our 8 month old puppy Charlie. It was his first time being away from us and I was a nervous wreck. Lori was so amazing with him, even when he caused mischief. Would highly recommend Lori to anyone in need of care for thier pup! :)

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My first job was as an Animal Care Technician with the Humane Society, and I later worked at a military veterinary clinic for more than five years. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I’ve been passionate about since childhood. I’ve always had pets of my own and have rescued many animals over the years. To me, pets are family, not just animals. When your pet stays with me, my home becomes their home. I’ll follow and reinforce your training and household rules, while also making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I tailor their care to their individual personality and energy level. I currently work full-time. But not too far from my job. So I can always come home to let pets out if need be. I will be available to give them all the attention in the afternoon and on the weekends with the help of my kids who just adore any animal. I have a fenced in yard with one dog and one cat to keep your pet company. I can also crate your pet if needed.

Our dog, Joule, had a great time at Diana’s! The whole family was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about how to handle a high energy and attention seeking pup. She got along great with the other dogs and if we are back in the area, this would be our first choice for a rover!

Laura is a very caring dog lover, evidenced by all the senior dogs she takes into her care. She understands dogs and provides them with a safe and loving environment. Communication was easy and consistent, and Laura was flexible about dropoff given problematic weather conditions. I highly recommend her!

I boarded my precious dog Roxy with Jennifer and I cant say enough how wonderful the experience was for both Roxy and myself, i had total peace of mind while I was away,I knew Roxy was in good hands and Jennifer provided photos daily which was a further peace of mind, upon picking her up after a week stay,my dog simply wagged her tail at me not the usual with other sitters in past that dog wanted to leave immediately, I knew right then Roxy had a good time at Jennifers, thank you for the excellent care of Roxy!

We had SUCH a wonderful experience with Meghan & Sean—and so did our pup! Our 3yo dog is nervous around new people and can be reactive. We were worried about how she would do staying with a family with young kids. Meghan & Sean listed to our worries and helped up brainstorm ways to put our dog at ease. And it worked like a charm! We were so grateful to the extra time Meghan & Sean spent to make both the humans and the doggo feel positive about the plan. We loved getting pics of the crew on their daily walks. It was also really really REALLY nice to see how much love Meghan and fam have for all animals, and how positive they were about our sometimes tricky dog. Our dog had a great week and we will definitely return to Meghan & Sean for future doggy needs, whether it is another week or a shorter visit. Highly recommend, zero notes!

This was my first week away from my dogs. I was nervous and at first I was unsure of how to even start, find a sitter, and then make sure my dogs were okay with that person and their own dogs. But then I found Marisa and she made me feel so much better. We did a meet and greet, and while I was on my trip she kept in touch and sent photos. The process was painless, she communicated often, and my dogs were happy and healthy when I picked them up. I would 100% use Rover and Marisa again. She takes the anxiety out of travel and leaving your pups.

Margie and her family did a great job taking care of Apollo! We did a meet & greet with her dogs first. Apollo enjoyed having playmates and even wanted to play with her cat. I really appreciated all the updates she sent me! I received lots of photos and Apollo looked like he was enjoying himself. I would definitely recommend Margie & have already rebooked with her.

There are 395 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Earlton. About 92% of Earlton sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
