“Dawns was absolutely fantastic with our Border Collie and Mini Schnauzer for our 10 day vacation. She went above and beyond! We will definitely use her for all of our future dog sitting jobs.”

Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is clean, safe, and pet-friendly, with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can run and play securely. I’ll make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and right at home during their stay.
“Morgan was so wonderful! Needed a mid day drop-in for my senior dog. Reached out with only a day or so notice (my fault) and Morgan was able to help no problem! Always nice to have a sitter in the area you can count on and trust, Morgan is definitely on my list ᵕ̈”

“Elenys was AMAZING!! I cannot be happier with the care she provided to my fur babies! She is very responsible, responds quickly and efficiently, and is super friendly! My boys absolutely adored her! She goes above and beyond! My little guy is a rescue who can be very timid and she took her time with him and completely won him over!! I would highly recommend her! I honestly felt completely relaxed because of her constant updates and pictures! Thank you again Elenys! Sirius and Albus love you 🥰”

“Our first time using this application/service for our furr babies. I picked Kendra and asked her if she could come over so we could meet each other and she could maybe meet our furr babies. After a quick tour and us chatting, 2 of our kitties that normally hide when “strangers” are in the home came out to investigate who she was. Our dog Penelope is a people person doggie and pretty much likes everyone. Our one cat Johnni is the most curious and will want to be seen and maybe be petted. We only needed our dog fed and potty break as the cats are on auto feeders. And after having met Kendra I was very comfortable that our animals would be well cared for and I booked her for a drop in. I left her a note for feeding Penelope and where she potties. Kendra kept me in the loop with texts and pictures of the animals. Everyone got their glamour shots but 1 kitty (she was an outdoor kitty and is weary of people until she comfortable with them). We are beyond happy with Kendra’s care of our animals, our home and will definitely be using her services again. Thank you Kendra for making me feel comfortable and knowing our furr babies would be well cared for even for a drop in. We’ll be booking again soon with you!”

“Maria was super friendly and kind. Even when one of our dogs was afraid having a stranger at the house she handled things great and communicated with me the whole time. She won both dogs over and they seemed happy to have her company. I would definitely use her again for any of our sitter needs. Thank you Maria!”

“Courtney is a wonderful per sitter! She is super thorough with feedback of how the visits go. She is also a great communicator and does well with reading dogs. I have a little one with a big personality who is adjusting to a new routine and environment. I am grateful to Courtney for her assistance in providing structure and comfort to my senior dog during a stressful time!”

“Harry did an excellent job in taking care of our babies We appreciated the daily updates as Mom was worried. We will definitely use him again. Thanks for the care and service.”

“Shawna went above and beyond as a cat sitter. When my naughty kittens made messes, she diligently documented and cleaned them up for me. She also offered solutions, including bringing her own water bowl, to ensure they had a sufficient water supply after repeatedly unplugging their fountain. Both cats quickly took to Shawna, not just because she generously brought them toys but also due to her kind and caring nature. I will definitely be checking her availability the next time I need a cat sitter!”

About: I've been caring for animals for over 10 years and have three cats of my own, including one that's about to be 6 years old. I also previously had two dogs and have years of experience caring for family members' dogs while they're away on week-long vacations. In addition to caring for my own pets, I volunteer with a local cat rescue, where I've worked with cats of all ages and personalities. I'm comfortable feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, administering oral medications if needed, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I'll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I’m also available for house-sitting excluding Tues/Thursday evenings starting August 24th due to my class schedule! In addition, I can commute to Napa as I regularly go into town! I always follow each pet's usual routine to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress while you're away. I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and playtime, bathroom breaks or clean litter boxes, and lots of love and attention. I'll also keep your home tidy, clean up after your pets, and follow any special instructions, including medications, feeding schedules, or house rules. I'm happy to send regular photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Rocelyn is very friendly and flexible. Luna took to her instantly. I appreciate Rocelyn’s flexibility to walk Luna on short notice and repeat walks to help Luna get the zoomies out midday. I highly recommend Rocelyn to care for my, your fur babies!”

“I went on a work trip to DC for a week and Brandon made having to leave Drax at home so much easier and took a lot of stress out of it. He provided daily updates and did even more than I even expected him to do. I am sure Drax is going to miss the week he spent with Brandon checking on him and keeping him company”

“Tasha did drop-in visits for my elderly dog Brewster and was excellent. Senior dogs need patience and attention to the little things, and she never missed a beat, stuck to his routine, was gentle with him, and kept me updated every visit. Brewster was relaxed and happy, and I never had to wonder how he was doing. If you have an older dog, Tasha is the one. Highly recommend.”

About: Hi! I'm Heather Rae, a dependable, compassionate animal lover based in Vacaville and serving surrounding communities. Animals have always been a grounding part of my life. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines, and comfort level, and I take the time to earn their trust while giving them the attention they deserve. Whether your pet loves long walks, 🎶 pinã coladas🍍, quiet companionship, playtime, or simply sticking to their daily routine, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I'm patient with senior pets, attentive to details like medications and feeding schedules, and happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can travel with peace of mind. I'm an active person who enjoys being outdoors, so energetic dogs get plenty of exercise, while older pets receive gentle, patient care at their own pace. I bring those same qualities to every house-sitting and pet-care visit. My goal is simple: for you to come home to a happy pet and a home that's exactly as you left it. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family! My schedule is flexible, which allows me to work around your pet's routine rather than the other way around. Whether it's early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening cuddles, or overnight stays, I'm happy to help. I also understand that plans can change, so I'll do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. I know inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big deal. I'll treat both with the same care and respect I would my own. I'll follow your routines closely, keep doors and gates secure, clean up after myself (and your pet!), and make sure your furry family member gets plenty of love, exercise, and attention. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they're happy and in good hands.
“Lori did a great job! We’ve never left our kitties for a long vacation, so we were a bit nervous, as they have some medical issues including shots. Lori took lots of pics, reported details every day, and even watered our tomatoes so we didn’t lose them! Very pleased and the kitties were too!”

“Always a PLEASURE with Mikayla!! Sh is very KNOWLEDGEABLE with our pets! She helps me with handling the dogs and EXTRA ABOVE and BEYOND tasks. I will continue to tip Mikayla for ALL she does…it’s my PLEASURE! See ya 👋🏾 Tuesday Mikayla!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Vacaville Junction
Shawna is a very conscientious and reliable sitter. I requested that she come to my house twice a day so that my cat could enjoy many hours outdoors and this worked out well for my pet. I received photos for every visit, and we messaged back and forth with questions and replies. I felt very confident that my cat was receiving attention and good care. I will certainly be hiring her again for the next time I am out of town.
Haven was great with my very very shy cat, Canelo! Everything went smoothly and she communicated well with me throughout my time away! Though my vacation was cut very short and I had to come home early the quick responses made the unfortunate situation seamless. Will definitely use Haven again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
