About: I’ve had pets all my life and was always the one asked to care for pets of family and friends while they were gone. I absolutely love to play with dogs and cats and love on them as much as as they will let me. I can do whatever activity you request with your pet, long or short walks or even hikes, practice training routines, enforce good behavior and give lots of love. I am currently working part time as a Caregiver and a teaching substitute on occasion so I have very flexible and open availability most weeks. Because of having family in England, I want to be able to travel there frequently so am not ready to have a permanent dog again yet, but I LOVE having dogs come and stay with me when my calendar allows. I work from home so have flexibility in my routine and am always available for my visitors’ needs. I like to take a morning walk, and an evening one too. I’m not away from home often. I have a fully fenced yard and my neighborhood has beautiful walking trails, that I use whether I am walking a dog, or just walking alone. I’ve fostered rescue dogs and have experience of high anxiety dogs. I’m 6 feet tall and strong, and my last foster was great with people but not so much with other dogs we met on our walks, so I’m used to avoiding them, if necessary! When Sully had a bit of an allergy flareup on his nose, they were quick to notify me and give him some ointment. It truly seemed that they cared for our pup as they would their own.
