“A few days into our planned two week trip to Scandinavia, we got a call from Joanna. She reported our dog behaving differently, and then a day later pooping with blood. She rushed Bluey to her closest vet, and our dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis, a potentially fatal condition for young dogs. Joanna took Bluey to the vet two more times and faithfully cleaned up after our dog who continued to have accidents in the house. She medicated Bluey as directed and was able to care for Bluey until we could find a city to cut our trip short and return home. We owe John and Joanna many thanks for caring for Bluey and potentially saving his life.”

About: My family and I have taken care of friends and relative’s pets for a long time. We also had a pet of our own for years so we have experience in taking care and playing with them. I am currently working from home, so I am very flexible and have the time to play and take them out from the comfort of my own home. Note: I only take one family’s dog(s) at a time ☺️ I have a safe neighborhood where I can take them on a good walk and play with as well. About: I have my own dog since 10 years and have cared for dogs of friends and family for over a decade. I work from home so your baby will get non stop attention. We only board small to medium size dogs (Less than 40 pounds, some rare exceptions, feel free to ask). I have cared for special need dogs that are extremely shy and not usually good with other dogs. I have worked with a lot of foster dogs who were abused and need extra attention. They will feel safe and get some social therapy along the way. Dogs usually get a nice long walk at least once daily. Please bring a harness and your dogs food. All dogs are separated at feeding times in morning 8 am and evening 6 PM, unless you feed more and have a slightly different schedule. I am used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods, and administering medications including injectables. I work from home so your baby will get non stop attention. We also have adults other than me that can help with dog care. I only care for dogs in my home. I do not visit other people's home for dog care but can provide dog walks if needed near clients home if I am free per my schedule

I can also provide daily walks and dispensing of medications if you wish. My rates are significantly lower than boarding your pet, plus your pet will not be caged and will enjoy a pet friendly home with lots of toys to play with. Treats that I give my dog can be handed out if pet parent allows. I prefer dogs that are fully house trained to not relieve themselves inside the house. If not fully trained, then I would consider dogs (elderly or early dementia) who use doggy diapers. I am retired and home every day so your pet will get round-the-clock care. I can provide daily or weekly care to your fur baby in my home. I prefer to pet sit only one pet at a time and I have a fenced yard to keep your pet safe. I live in a single family home with a fenced-in back yard. If your fur baby is a dog, he or she can play with my dog in the back yard as there are plenty of doggie toys to play with.

About: I was one of those kids that bugged my parents for a dog when I was little. My first petsitting experience was in 2004 when I was 10. I loved dog walking which made me want a dog even more. About: I love animals, especially dogs, and spend a lot of my free time volunteering at local shelters. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and disabilities. Currently I am caring for two dogs with disabilities long term: and elderly French Bulldog with partial paralysis, and a young pittie mix with three legs due to a car accident. These dogs require equal amounts of patience and love when being cared for, as well as extra attention and physical aid with mobility (ex. going up and down stairs) I'm someone who genuinely loves animals, and would do this for free if everything wasn't so expensive now. I will take the time to socialize and get to know your pet so they are comfortable, relaxed, and overjoyed when I arrive. I also have a medical background which makes me very comfortable dealing with pet medications and special needs. I currently work part time with a flexible schedule. I take care of two disabled dogs full time, they require extra care and attention but you can expect that same level from me when I care for any pet. “Stacie was an absolute amazing! She took care of both my dogs; Duke and Rosie, for six days. Rosie stayed with Stacie before, but it was the first time for Duke. Stacie sent photos of both dogs multiple times a day. Duke had a knee surgery couple of years ago, so we were a little concerned, but Stacie was very cautious so he doesn’t hurt himself playing. Rosie is an anxious dog and takes a little time to warm up to people, but has no trouble introducing herself with other dogs, Stacie put us as ease! She provides regular updates throughout the day.
