About: I’ve had 3 dogs over the years and 1 cat. I’ve also helped out plenty with my neighbors dogs and with other peoples dogs and cats around my neighborhood. Also more than happy to bathe your pets if needed and I’m super active and love the outdoors so I have no problem playing with your pets and walking them to give them the attention they need! I’m a full time college student at Virginia Tech so I will only be available during my breaks, which usually fall around the holidays. During my breaks I am pretty flexible though! I am not taking pets at my home at this time, but I am more than happy to come to yours! I have a reliable car and am more than happy to walk your pets and play with them inside and/or outside.

About: I have my own dog since 10 years and have cared for dogs of friends and family for over a decade. I work from home so your baby will get non stop attention. We only board small to medium size dogs (Less than 40 pounds, some rare exceptions, feel free to ask). I have cared for special need dogs that are extremely shy and not usually good with other dogs. I have worked with a lot of foster dogs who were abused and need extra attention. They will feel safe and get some social therapy along the way. Dogs usually get a nice long walk at least once daily. Please bring a harness and your dogs food. All dogs are separated at feeding times in morning 8 am and evening 6 PM, unless you feed more and have a slightly different schedule. I am used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods, and administering medications including injectables. I work from home so your baby will get non stop attention. We also have adults other than me that can help with dog care. I only care for dogs in my home. I do not visit other people's home for dog care but can provide dog walks if needed near clients home if I am free per my schedule

“Joanna and John have been amazing with Peanut. I’ve been to many sitters around the area, in and out of rover, and I’ve never had a better experience than here. They are extremely friendly, super flexible, and will make sure your dog gets all the attention they need. They are very detail oriented to make sure my dog got the best experience and ensured that he will be very comfortable during his stay. Joanna kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and a breakdown of how he’s doing so far. She’s is also attentive and very responsive if I ever had any questions about how things were going. Another plus is that they have a very big yard for peanut to run around in. Joanna will take him outside multiple times a day to run around and makes sure he gets a lot of exercise. She makes sure to create a safe environment for all the dogs to play together as well. The house and yard are kept extremely clean everyday for the dogs, so I know I can feel comfortable every time I bring him over for daycare or to stay the night. All in all, I’m super happy I found them, Peanut has been having a blast. I will definitely be booking more stays with them in the future. If you’re looking for a sitter, I would highly recommend!”
About: I grew up with a dog and loved and cared for her for 16 years from puppy, to elderly. I have a cat(who stays in my room so it won’t become an issue) and I’ve petsit a lot since childhood. About: We’re a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong love of animals and years of experience caring for both dogs and cats—especially rescues. About: I always lead with patience and care. Animals are clear communicators and we just need to listen. I am medically trained (for humans primarily), but I know those skills and knowledge are highly transferable. I work primarily in a hospital. Even though my schedule is consistently changing, I have multiple days off during the week. This allows me to visit anytime throughout the days im off and leaves a lot of flexibility. Respect is key. She kept us updated with regular photos and messages, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. What stood out was how much her whole family engaged with our dog. Her husband and child took him on walks around the neighborhood and played with him in a secure, enclosed area—he looked so happy and relaxed in every picture! It was clear that Sowmiya truly cared about his well-being and gave him lots of attention, exercise, and love. We came home to a calm, content pup, and we’re so thankful for the care he received.
