About: Aside from having 4 of my own, I also have outdoor cat shelters and keep an eye on the neighborhood cats while offering treats, food, and medical attention or tnr if necessary. My youngest cat I bottle fed and cared for from 3 weeks old, she is now 2. She was successfully introduced and integrated with 3 other cats and 2 dogs (which she was terrified of and I really had low hopes for but slow and steady really pays off)! My eldest cats (11) do require senior care with special diets and medications so I can definitely handle any special needs. I am willing to travel to you, or watch your cat in either a shared or private room, or kennel at my home if needed.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs, cats and rabbits my whole life. I’ve always had them and have even done 4-H with my dog and rabbits and was an advisor when I got older. 4-H taught me all about pet care and dog training and obedience. I’ve recently changed jobs so I can be home nights, weekends and holidays! This will allow me more time for watching your fur babies. I enjoy spending my free time on walks and being outside. Since I do work during the week, they will be home during the day and unable to go out. But once I am home, and on weekends, they can go out as often as they would like. I don’t have any pets at this time so your fur baby will be the only one in the home. I keep things picked up and out of reach for safety. I believe in harnessing and leashing before going outside and making sure they are secured properly. I also will not feed your pet any human food or anything not approved by you.

About: I grew up on a farm where I cared for a range of animals from chickens to cats. From there, I have always had a pet to share my heart with. I have had guinea pigs, cats, dogs in my own home and have yet to meet an animal I don't get along with. I am looking for flexible work so that I can finish writing my novel without letting the burden of finances fall completely on my husband. I figure walking and caring/sitting for animals to help keep my family fed is a great match for me, my personality, and my love for animals. I used to work 13 hour days, an hour from home, so I understand the importance of a pet nanny and would be honored to help you with that need! My two fur babies, Lily (9 year old Ragamuffin kitty) and Ellie (5 year old German Shepherd) have different personalities and co-habitate beautifully, but I would not want to introduce other animals into my home. Both of my girls are rescues from different shelters (Angels for Animals and One of a Kind Pet Rescue) and they both lived stressful lives before me so my job is to give them sanctuary and love. That said, in regard to care, Lily is pretty self regulated. Every other day, her food bowl is re-filled (no, you can't see the bottom of the bowl but she's my sweet princess who gets what she wants) and her kitty litter is scooped every other day and changed as needed. Ellie is a rescued Puppy Mill momma who grew up in a very confusing way and is forever married to routine. To keep her happy and healthy, we let her out same time each day (7am) where she eats 1.5 cups of food, potty break at 12pm and again at 5pm (1.5 cups). Ellie's gets let out 3 times a day, per her wants because I try to let her out more and if she doesn't have to go potty, she turns around and lays on her Tempur-Pedic bed. Otherwise, when the weather is appropriate Ellie and I take a minimum of a 15 minute walk in the park behind my house. I love to go on walks and meet new dogs! Im happy to help you out by either checking on your dog during the day or helping them get some exercise outside! I’m between jobs right now and have ample amount of time to check in on or walk dogs during the day! Anytime between 8-5pm will work for me at the moment! I do not plan on having pets inside my home. But I’d be happy to follow the instructions that any homeowner provides to me for their home. I will respect what is said since I know all animals are different and their owners know them best!

About: My family has always had animals, and I've always loved taking care of them. Dogs, cats, birds, the whole nine yards. I've been around pure-breds, mutts, strays, elderly animals, young animals, a whole range, and I've always been very close with all of them. The most direct experience I've ever had was helping raise and train my mother's dog Ivan, a big American Bulldog with German Shepherd and Siberian Husky heritage, from near-birth to nine years old. Beyond that, I've helped care for my grandmother's many dogs, including Jasper, who is pictured in my profile picture. I'm currently on summer break between my Junior and Senior year of college, so I have plenty of time to care for animals at most points during the week. I generally like to keep Sundays and Mondays open, but I'm otherwise totally free to work. I'm a fairly relaxed pet owner myself, but I know when animals need to be taken seriously. As someone who helped raise a moderately antisocial 100 lbs. dog once, I know it's not all sunshine and rainbows. One was shy and barked at me at first, but now happily runs up to greet me—an experience I truly value. During the summer time Im free all day for walks and for house sitting. I will make sure to follow any instructions or recommendations from the client concerning the well being of their pet. I typically give the dog daily exercise 4 to 7 times per day. With the owner permission I will take dog to the dog park and keep a watchful eye on the dog at all times there. If I feel another dog is getting aggressive I will immediately remove the dog so nothing escalates.

I do live an apartment but there are lots of woods & trails to go on long walks as your dog needs. I also can provide other services such as nail trims, ear cleaning, and bathing. I am home all day and your pup will never be alone. I can also do drop in visits when needed. I look forward to taking care of your fur baby when you are away. I do work full time, I am off Tuesdays and weekends and I could do a visit before work 7:00am and be there right after work 5:00pm or if I am doing overnight. I would only be gone those hours. 7:00-5:00pm I can easily crate your dog if needed. I do live an apartment but I can take your dog on long walks though the parks.
