I have had guinea pigs, cats, dogs in my own home and have yet to meet an animal I don't get along with. I am looking for flexible work so that I can finish writing my novel without letting the burden of finances fall completely on my husband. I figure walking and caring/sitting for animals to help keep my family fed is a great match for me, my personality, and my love for animals. I used to work 13 hour days, an hour from home, so I understand the importance of a pet nanny and would be honored to help you with that need! My two fur babies, Lily (9 year old Ragamuffin kitty) and Ellie (5 year old German Shepherd) have different personalities and co-habitate beautifully, but I would not want to introduce other animals into my home. Both of my girls are rescues from different shelters (Angels for Animals and One of a Kind Pet Rescue) and they both lived stressful lives before me so my job is to give them sanctuary and love. That said, in regard to care, Lily is pretty self regulated. Every other day, her food bowl is re-filled (no, you can't see the bottom of the bowl but she's my sweet princess who gets what she wants) and her kitty litter is scooped every other day and changed as needed. Ellie is a rescued Puppy Mill momma who grew up in a very confusing way and is forever married to routine. To keep her happy and healthy, we let her out same time each day (7am) where she eats 1.5 cups of food, potty break at 12pm and again at 5pm (1.5 cups). Ellie's gets let out 3 times a day, per her wants because I try to let her out more and if she doesn't have to go potty, she turns around and lays on her Tempur-Pedic bed. Otherwise, when the weather is appropriate Ellie and I take a minimum of a 15 minute walk in the park behind my house. I’m here to hopefully make your life easier & remove extra anxiety that pups can cause when you’re traveling without them 💓 I am currently a Division 1 coach whose competition season is in the fall, so I only have Mondays off, but my spring season allows me to have an easier schedule with weekends free! I have two friendly, active pups who love to make new friends! I live within 5 miles of 3 different parks that I love taking my pups to!

“Super nice/living family. After initially meeting them, I was very comfortable leaving my Murphy with them. They have two lovely Beagles and children who obviously love the dogs as well & a perfect indoor & outdoor setting for playing and roaming. They sent me photos and a video which made my day. Nathan even slept downstairs on the couch when my pup seemed worried without having anyone around as it was his first night away from home in several months since a horrific extended stay experience with a facility. I will definitely use them again whenever I need to be away from home!”

About: Hi I’m Hayley! I have about a year of Rover experience, doing doggie drop ins and walks. A little bit about me: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs nearly my entire life. I’ve never met a cat I didn’t love! I have two super friendly poodle mixes Nova and Arlo. Not only have I taken care of cats/dogs for 20+ years, I’m also the first to volunteer to care for my friends and neighbors beloved pets. I once babysat a neighbors 30 outdoor cats! I also have experience with senior cats and dogs. My expertise with dogs are home visits, walking and fetch or playing. I have a toddler who also loves animals and will accompany me at times, so a friendly dog is a MUST. I will watch one small/medium dog at my home in Ravenna prior to meeting them to ensure they get along with my pups. I treat my pets like family members, and would love to care for yours as well! I work a flexible hybrid schedule so I’m willing to work with your schedule. I’m available for overnight doggy daycare at my home for one family friendly pup if you’re out of town. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to keep your dog company. They love to play! I’m willing and able to crate if needed as well.

“Arya is a dog whisperer! He is knowledgeable and clearly passionate about caring for and training dogs. Your dogs will be in the best of hands on his large property and with the well behaved dogs he owns. Rosie and Pepper were walked frequently and given personal attention and as they got comfortable with other dogs, were allowed to have some play time chasing balls and running around. Arya sent videos of our dogs and taught us some things about their behavior. I highly recommend Arya as your dogs will be well cared for so you won’t need to worry while you’re away.”
