“Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I also have 2 dogs of my own and they is just the best thing that happened to me honestly and that’s why I’m working for this company because I’ve found something that I could work for and love doing what I do at the same time. I treat every dog like they’re mine! Every dog that has been to my house they are treated like our family, care for every one of them. I currently just graduated college so as of right now I am home full time! Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that I am very free for now! In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for some daily exercise. I also have two dogs of my own that’ll definitely keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 4 years old and the other one is 3 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. I’m very attentive when it comes to routines, comfort, and I always prioritize safety and patience. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important trust is when caring for someone’s beloved animal. I’m open to caring for pets of any age or disability, and providing as much attention as needed. I have a college classes(online and face to face) throughout the week and a part time job( mainly 10-15 hours) but i mainly stay at home so i am able to pay attention to your pet at all times. If you’re comfortable with it i love to take them with me for small errands or nice views just so they are not left alone at home. I live in a very walkable town. Your pet will be able to roam freely around the house if needed, and/or have their own space if they are shy. I’m capable of moving things around for comfortability. Pets will never be left unattended for long periods of time. I don’t own additional dogs or cats but i have rabbits kept in their own secure caged space. I can and WILL follow all care instructions. I would be happy to provide updates and photos at any time.

Over the next few days Harley had a really rough time, but Karina kept me appraised about everything that was going on, and worked with me to find solutions for her anxiety. I felt a thousand times better knowing even though she was super stressed, Karina spent every second keeping her as calm as possible and making the situation as good for her as possible. I would highly recommend leaving an animal in her loving care with no reservations. She was amazing for my dog and for me.”
