About: My experience with cat care consists of me taking care of my friend’s cat Norman while she was away in Italy and my landlord’s cat Shadow while he was also away. I also make sure to feed the local stray cats that pass through the neighborhood, providing them with wet food and water.

About: Hello for starters I'm a guy who loves doing cardio which comes hand to hand with dog walking. I can go hours and hours without getting tired. I own a dog myself (shitzu mix). Im a punctual man as well as man who loves to hike. Ive had numerous jobs as a teen but it didn't really felt like it was my 'calling' or something I can potentially do long term. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 2 decades. I’ve helped train dogs, provided prescribed medication, assisted in emergencies and give lots of puppy pats. I’ve worked with 15- year-old chihuahuas and 6 month old Labrador puppies without any issue or worry. Overall, I’ve been a pet owner and understand how important it is to feel comfortable putting your dog in a new situation. So I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. My main priority is that your pet is safe, comfortable and cared for until your return. I’m a freelancer and I usually can work remotely, so I have the freedom to schedule my week as I see fit. That means I can take dogs out multiple times in a day, without it disrupting my schedule. In my home, I live in an apartment which means I take dogs out every 2 hours. Depending on their size and energy I take longer or shorter walks. And at other people homes I’m happy to follow specific instructions but, as my own set of rules, I make sure to clean any messes I find on the property, if a vacuum is available I’m happy to vacuum hair/fur, especially if the pet owner is away for more than 5 days, I’m always available to communicate if any owner wants to check in with me and of course I’m happy to face time if you’d like to check in on your pet. About: I started out day sitting my friends dogs in Manhattan. When I moved to queens, my housemate has a cavapoo, Boba whom I been currently been co-sitting for over two years. About: Growing up in Peru, I started to take care of dogs of every kind since I was 8 years old. I would always feed stray dogs, and whenever they saw me, they would run to me, and we would create memories together. At the age of 15, my mom brought me a beloved companion who is now 17 years old. About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. Although I’ve never owned a dog myself, I have a deep respect and appreciation for them. I understand the dedication, planning, and responsibility that goes into making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As much as we wish we could bring our pets everywhere, sometimes the best choice is leaving them in a place where they feel at home. That’s the experience I aim to provide: reliable and thoughtful care that supports your pet’s comfort without requiring you to sacrifice your plans. I am currently unemployed and I live with my parents (who also love dogs), so there’s almost always someone home. I was working at Central Park for these last few months, but now that the season is over I can dedicate myself to working my dream job… along with finding a career that goes with my degree. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.

“Eric took great care of our rescue dog, Yoshi, for the weekend. Yoshi is a rescue with severe separation anxiety and a fear of strangers. Eric has a relaxed and confident demeanor that worked well with our dog, and also sent us lots of pictures and informative updates (what they were doing, how Yoshi's health was regarding a recent upset stomach he was recovering from). He's also a walker so I wasn't worried about Yoshi getting enough exercise. We look forward to booking Eric again!”
