About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and are well-experienced dog owners. My husband, especially, has owned dogs of all different breeds, to include champion Russian Wolfhounds (his mom used to show dogs!). We have 3 young kids at the moment, all who love to pet and care for animals, espeically dogs, and will show them so much love and affection! We are responsible and will make sure pets are well taken care of and dogs are walked, fed and have a safe house to live in while they are away from their owners. My husband works from home full-time, and I currently work part-time, so there is always someone at home to watch over your pet and take them for walks when needed. We may have to step out for a couple hours in the evening to take kids to activities, but we are always home by bedtime/well before bedtime. We have a fenced yard, and can crate the dog if needed. However, if your dog is comfortable, they can also sleep on a dog bed in our kids' room, our room, or really wherever they choose in the house. For dog walking services, both my husband and I will make sure we enter the house as instructed and lock the door when we leave. We both like to run, so are also happy to take your dog on a run if they have the energy!

“Mary went above and beyond for caring for my three cats. I had booked four visits for my cats. Unfortunately, there was a serious issue in my apartment building during that time. Residents and their pets needed to be evacuated. Mary ended up having to bring my cats to a boarding facility. She put them all in their crates, walked up and down eight flights of stairs in my building, put them in her car, drove them, and then admitted them to the chosen boarding facility. Through it all, Mary maintained constant communication and care regarding the well being of my cats. I would highly recommend Mary as a petsitter for your pets!! About: I’ve helped walk and play with dogs at a local dog shelter and also watch my friend’s dogs, including walking and sitting two dogs at a time. I work remote, Tuesday to Friday, and my job isn’t very busy so I have plenty of time on my hands to walk dogs anytime time during the weekdays. Weekends are also flexible too. When I care for dogs in my friend’s homes, they have fenced in backyards for them to run around in but I also walk them in the neighborhood and on trails.

About: You name it, I probably have lovingly done it. From medical care, giving shots, playing, training, elder pet care, cleaning ears, wiping paws, giving baths, walking and playing with super high energy pets, etc., I can handle it. I specialize in anxious dogs. I get that there is a formula for making them feel safe and I can follow it to a T, plus I have a lot of tools and tricks. I also specialize in elder care of pets. Beyond medical needs which I am comfortable doing, I also have tons of ways of engaging elders pets that can no longer play nor walk like they used. I am loving, lead with empathy, and NEVER strike nor yell at a pet. That should go without saying, but I like to be very clear. I can assert leadership for pets that need it. I can handle any size pet and I get that each pet has their own needs, so don't worry if your dog has a long list of things they cannot do or a list of needs. I get it! I am currently working part time from home and my breaks and hours are flexible, so I am always available. Very occasionally I work outside the home for no more than 5 hours at a time. I care for pets in my home and at their home as well. I have a big back yard that is fenced in on all sides. I go outside with the pets most of the time and engage and play with them. I don't just let them out. There are 2 people parks near my home (one well shaded and great for hot summer days) that are great for walking to. I find dogs like to people watching too. I think giving pups time to sniffy snoop around is important. I even have a backpack with a mesh screen "window" for a cat as some cats love walks. In your home, I follow their routine to give them a sense of security, play, train, and introduce new toys and tricks if your pup is up for that. With cats I can read their cute little faces pretty well and give them what they want: play, pets, scratches, and/or, for example, introduce them to new smells to engage their minds.

About: While I haven't worked professionally in pet care, I've had animals throughout my entire adulthood. I currently share my home with a senior cat and a high-energy medium-sized dog, so I'm comfortable with pets at very different life stages — from playful and active to calm and gentle. I work part-time and study from home most of the week, so my schedule is flexible. Aside from Tuesday mornings, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I'm typically able to spend 30 minutes to an hour per walk or drop-in, giving pets plenty of one-on-one attention. “Maria is amazing with dogs. She is very responsible and honest. If you give your dog to Maria, you can be sure that your puppy will interact and play with all healthy dogs! I got photo “report” every single day, sometimes even twice! And I was so sure that my pup is having so much fun, that at one point just started being scared if she will still wanna go home lol. “Our very social and attention-craving lab mix loved his stay with Natalia and Edward. We were out of town for seven days and received adorable pictures of him playing with their dog, lounging in the living room, or romping with the family. We especially liked the big backyard that allows for built-in outdoor space and the very walkable neighborhood which allowed for going further afield. It was clear they perfectly understood what our Milo needed and were more than happy and ready to accommodate. Relieved we’ve found a go-to Rover we’d be happy to use again. Highly recommend.”

About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and are well-experienced dog owners. My husband, especially, has owned dogs of all different breeds, to include champion Russian Wolfhounds (his mom used to show dogs!). We have 3 young kids at the moment, all who love to pet and care for animals, espeically dogs, and will show them so much love and affection! We are responsible and will make sure pets are well taken care of and dogs are walked, fed and have a safe house to live in while they are away from their owners. My husband works from home full-time, and I currently work part-time, so there is always someone at home to watch over your pet and take them for walks when needed. We may have to step out for a couple hours in the evening to take kids to activities, but we are always home by bedtime/well before bedtime. We have a fenced yard, and can crate the dog if needed. However, if your dog is comfortable, they can also sleep on a dog bed in our kids' room, our room, or really wherever they choose in the house. For dog walking services, both my husband and I will make sure we enter the house as instructed and lock the door when we leave. We both like to run, so are also happy to take your dog on a run if they have the energy!
“Angela was absolutely wonderful! She contacted me right away after I submitted my request, came to meet me and my two dogs beforehand, and made the entire boarding process easy from the start. While I was away, Angela and her family took amazing care of my dogs. They were clearly loved and well cared for, and I really appreciated the photos and videos she sent throughout their stay. I had several questions during my trip, and Angela always responded quickly, which gave me great peace of mind. She also has a spacious backyard that my dogs really enjoyed. I had complete confidence knowing my dogs were in such caring hands. “Shanilka was an absolute lifesaver! This was my first time ever leaving Toby with a sitter, and she made the whole process completely stress-free. Right before I dropped him off, Toby got into a chicken bone (of course), but Shanilka wasn't fazed. She was calm and happy to keep an extra eye on him, which was such a relief. She sent plenty of photos and videos while I was away so I always knew how he was doing. It was so clear Toby got tons of love and had a wonderful time. “I had a wonderful experience boarding my dog, Hazel, with Bryn. At the meet and greet, Hazel obviously liked Bryn (which is not always the case when meeting new people) so I knew we were off to a great start. Bryn has a calm personality and definitely is knowledgeable about dogs. She has a lovely home and a great fenced in backyard where the dogs can play. Her dog, Kepler, is very sweet. Bryn sent pictures and updates during Hazel's stay and reported that she did very well. She followed my instructions as far as giving Hazel her medications. I'd happily recommend Bryn to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”
