“Hermes had a long stay with Kelly, 17 days! Kelly took such good care of him including tick check and wiping his tear marks due to mild allergies. She sent me pictures and updates on Hermes on regular basis and Hermes was definitely a happy dog under her care and playing with her two lovely kids. I will book Kelly again no doubt! Thank you so much Kelly, Hermes loves all three of you!”

“My dog Tako was extremely well taken care of and I got frequent updates. Shanilka was very easy to communicate with and she was very flexible as my travel plans changed due to the weather. I will absolutely be using her again if I ever need!”
“Moana had a great stay! She’s pretty shy and anxious so I appreciated the patience they had with her while she got more comfortable. She looked calm and happy as can be in all the photo and video updates. Would definitely book again!”

“Great photos of our elderly cat, relaxing, cuddling, and enjoying her pampered visit. Sonya went above and beyond to swing by our house and pick up medicine we'd forgotten. Great peace of mind knowing Maya was in safe, capable hands!”

“Christopher took excellent care of our boy and provided frequent updates. He even bought a bone for our boy to chew on while he looked after him! I would definitely use again.”

“Alex and Daniel were absolutely incredible dog sitters. They were communicative, sending frequent photos and updates, and took extremely thoughtful and loving care of my dog, Pip. They really went above and beyond, brushing him, taking him on lots of walks, and clearly provided him with a warm, kind, and comfy home. We are so grateful to them for taking such good care of Pip, and can’t wait to book with them again for our next trip.”

“I couldn't have been blessed with a better sitter. Diana and her family totally exceeding my expectations with taking care of my Apollo. I received updates and photos multiple times a day, that showed the love he was getting, the amazing care he was getting, and he was happy. This was the 1st time using Rover and I was extremely nervous, but Diana and her family took away all my worry. She and her family celebrated Apollo's 3rd birthday with him. We were greeted with balloons. How awesome was that! Diana's love has for dogs shows immensely as well as her good character, and I would absolutely use her again and strongly recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter for their dog. Thank you Diana, I appreciate you and your family. Until we meet again...”

“Masha and her family took great care of Nala. This was our second time booking with them, and the care provided was outstanding again. Masha made sure Nala took her medication every morning (which was new this year) and kept us updated during her stay. Thank you!!”

“Melissa was great! Communicative, friendly, sent pictures, and my pug came back happy and tired (in a good way) after his weekend with her. Would definitely book again!”

“My dog has appeared to enjoy being with Jiao, and I got a picture or video of my dog everyday. Jiao was timely with her communication and flexible with drop off/ pick up. I would use Jiao to dog-sit again.”

“Colleen took wonderful care of our cockapoo for 3 days. She sent photos several times and provided photos. She also was able to give some eyedrops several times per day that our dog required. My dog seemed content and well cared for. Thank you.”

“Bianca is fabulous. She is kind, loving, competent, caring. She was attentive to my tiny, anxious, elderly dog's needs. Bianca adjusted and adapted what I'd shared with her so that it worked in her home, e.g., my dog wouldn't eat with the same set-up as I use so Bianca tried out different ways until my dog finally ate. I was curious to see how Bianca's cat would be with my dog. At the meet & greet they calmly sized each other up. During the stay Bianca shared a lovely photo of my dog snuggled on her sofa with her cat on the armrest. Nice, mellow companions. I was thoroughly comfortable leaving my dog in Bianca's care and will absolutely do so again when I go out of town and can't bring my dog with me.”

“I’m a repeated client and Khadija always takes care of my baby. She comes home excited (and tired!). I will always use her as long as she’s available. Highly recommend.”

“Chad and Regina have become Bennetts family away from family. They love and care for my baby as if he was theirs. I highly recommend them to any and everyone.”

“Teffni was great — communicative, extremely prompt, friendly, punctual, and took great care of my five cats. I really appreciated the pictures she sent me and that she immediately responded when I asked about one cat who wasn’t pictured (she was napping). I’ll definitely try to rebook her for future visits.”

“I would definitely recommend Hyunjung! She left great rover cards with many photos. I wanted a sitter for drop-in visits to give my cat some playtime and company, and I could tell from the photos that he got just that. I hope to work with Hyunjung again in the future.”

“Khadija is the best! She sent me pics, won over my shy cat, and even topped up the litter box with fresh litter when it needed. She's reliable, super sweet, and is good at communicating so I didn't worry once while away. I highly recommend her and will definitely rebook with her again.”

“Natalia is amazing!! We really appreciated her checking in on our cat while we were out of town. She was very responsive and we felt great knowing our cat was in good hands.”

“Michael was the first rover we’ve ever used and he immediately put our minds at ease! He offered to meet with us and our cat, TJ, before booking. He took detailed notes and was great with my cat, who immediately warmed up to him. Each visit, he provided check in notes and photos of our cat, which we looked forward to each day. We will be rebooking in the future, thanks again Michael!”

“Aliyah was fantastic! She replaced a last minute cancellation and was so on top of everything clear and smooth. We were gone for our wedding weekend, and I was able to have 0 worried for my kitty cat while we’re gone knowing she was in Aliyah’s care <3”

“Helene was great! Only a few days before a trip, we had to find a new sitter to visit our cat, Pickles. I requested Helene because of all the great reviews and the close proximity to our house. Helene sent daily pictures and a short report card that helped us feel that Pickles was being well taken care of during our trip.”

About: You name it, I probably have lovingly done it. From medical care, giving shots, playing, training, elder pet care, cleaning ears, wiping paws, giving baths, walking and playing with super high energy pets, etc., I can handle it. I specialize in anxious dogs. I get that there is a formula for making them feel safe and I can follow it to a T, plus I have a lot of tools and tricks. I also specialize in elder care of pets. Beyond medical needs which I am comfortable doing, I also have tons of ways of engaging elders pets that can no longer play nor walk like they used. I am loving, lead with empathy, and NEVER strike nor yell at a pet. That should go without saying, but I like to be very clear. I can assert leadership for pets that need it. I can handle any size pet and I get that each pet has their own needs, so don't worry if your dog has a long list of things they cannot do or a list of needs. I get it! I am currently working part time from home and my breaks and hours are flexible, so I am always available. Very occasionally I work outside the home for no more than 5 hours at a time. I care for pets in my home and at their home as well. I have a big back yard that is fenced in on all sides. I go outside with the pets most of the time and engage and play with them. I don't just let them out. There are 2 people parks near my home (one well shaded and great for hot summer days) that are great for walking to. I find dogs like to people watching too. I think giving pups time to sniffy snoop around is important. I even have a backpack with a mesh screen "window" for a cat as some cats love walks. In your home, I follow their routine to give them a sense of security, play, train, and introduce new toys and tricks if your pup is up for that. With cats I can read their cute little faces pretty well and give them what they want: play, pets, scratches, and/or, for example, introduce them to new smells to engage their minds.

“Drew was great with our kitties! They were happy and well cared for. Drew was always excellent with communication, and he even went above and beyond in care by making sure everything was very clean in the process (without needing to even be asked). We are very happy with the service he provided and we will definitely book again in the future!”

“Ashley did an amazing job caring for our cat. She provided detailed daily updates and pictures of our cat during her visits. We appreciated the consistent communication and felt she was very reliable. Ashley was also flexible with scheduling - we had to shorten our trip at the beginning and she was accommodating and came instead an extra time throughout the time we were gone. We can tell she had a gentle and caring approach with our cat, and understood what the cat needed. We’re grateful for it all!”

“Rebecca did great with our cats! She was so patient and kind with our shy kitty who also needs medicine, and was able to troubleshoot administration when things didn't go exactly to plan. Our girls will be excited to see her again in the future ❤️”

“Anton was so wonderful. Easy communication, reliable, did exactly what I hoped a cat sitter would do, and even formed a friendship with my very skittish cat. High marks all around. We would love to hire him again.”

“Samuel was a wonderful sitter! He was very attentive and responsible, he sent great summaries and pictures, and was flexible when fitting me in last minute. My rambunctious kitty had a great with him!”

“I had to leave town last minute and I was able to book Jason to drop in for our cat. Dependable, followed directions exactly, very easy and pleasant experience- highly recommend.”

“We as Valerie's owners added a complicated wrinkle -- I am traveling and have the Rover.com account, and my daughters were on the ground doing the drop off and pick up. Ana did not blink an eye over our logisitcal wrinkle. She was so easy to work with. My daughter said Ana was extremely welcoming and clearly a dog person, so Valerie was so excited to be at her place. We would definitely book with Ana again.”

About: 🐶 Dog Care Looking for a relaxing and stress-free home for your furbaby while you're away? Your dog will be well cared for by me and my partner and have a playmate, Channing, a friendly and mellow rescue dog. As a regular Rover user, we believe in providing high-quality and individual care for our dog guests. We adjust the level of care and activities depending on the dog’s health and owner’s preferences. Having my own senior dog who’s also blind, I have personal experience caring for fragile and older pups. 🏡 Home and Neighborhood Currently, I work full-time from home most of the week and I’m home most weekends. Our dog guests are allowed on the couch and bed, unless the owner prefers otherwise. We live in a walkable neighborhood with many tree-lined walking paths, bushes, parks and other friendly dogs and people. 📸 📱Daily Pictures and Updates We are very communicative and make sure owners get at least 3 updates with pictures and/or videos each day. 🦮 🐾 Walks Your dog will enjoy at least three 15-20 minute walks (usually at a casual pace and sniffing around the neighborhood) and ALWAYS leashed on our walks, usually using my own durable leash (the same rope material that rock climbers use). Their safety is my highest priority. 🧍🏽🐕 Meet and Greets Highly recommended for first-time guests. This allows the dogs to meet and I can get a good sense of your dog’s needs and how to best care for them. The meeting place is at a small park/playground in our neighborhood. 🗓️ 🚘 Drop Off and Pick Up Times *Weekdays: flexible, I’ll just need to know in advance to plan my schedule. *Weekends: Flexibility between 8am-7pm with advance notice. I work from home most of the week and am home most weekends, so your dog won’t be home alone too long but s/he should be comfortable to stay at home with Channing for a few hours. We go outside for 3 (sometimes more) walks each day usually at 7am, 12pm, 5pm and around 10pm. Your pup will have a great stay with us and Channing! Feel free to send us any questions! 💊 Medical Care We have experience administering medication to dogs, including oral and eyedrops (our dog is on several medications). For older and/or blind dogs, I carry them and use a baby gate as needed.
“Rene and Steph took such great care of my dog. They have two dogs who are friendly and were good companions for my pup. I will continue to rebook and highly recommend Rene and Step!”

“Cal was incredible with Henry, especially because of Henry’s apprehensions with men. I received great updates and communication was excellent. I am confident in my choice to book repeat visits and trust Cal & Kelly will continue to help nurture our rescue pup! Henry was happily exhausted when he got home, and I highly recommend them.”

“Another successful day with Galen! Solar came home, promptly went to rest, and now he’s out like a light. Thank you Galen! And thank you for all the beautifulpictures and the video. I have saved them all to my phone!”

It was clear he felt comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. In fact, Leo enjoyed his stay so much that he didn’t even want to come back home!
