“Meli took such great care of my fur baby! From the moment I was in touch with Meli, I felt safe and excited about the opportunity to have Ollie spend the day with her and her pup Nina. She was warm and assuring, and very quick to respond to messages! When I met Meli in person to drop Ollie off, I was happy to find such a friendly and kind person in real life, too! She sent me photos and updates throughout the 6 hours that Ollie was with her for “day care” (without me even needing to ask!) and I could tell he was having fun and being taken care of so well! I would absolutely recommend Meli and would love to have Ollie stay with her again if we need a sitter in Bloomington. Thanks Meli! ?”

About: With over a decade of hands-on experience as a dedicated pet owner and caregiver, I bring a wealth of knowledge in pet care, particularly in the nurturing of dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as cats. Currently, I share my home with a lively Chihuahua and two feline companions, while also extending my care to several clients' beloved canines. Additionally, I have undergone training in positive-reinforcement techniques and clicker training methods. Before commencing services, I typically offer a complimentary "Meet and Greet" session. This serves as an invaluable opportunity for us to meet face-to-face, allowing me to familiarize myself with your pets and home environment. Moreover, it's an ideal time to exchange pertinent information such as door codes, keys, and entry instructions. Please note, for services requiring travel to your location, such as dog walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, that rates may vary depending on the distance from my residence in Marlborough. My schedule is structured to accommodate pet care seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. With several regular pet clients whom I walk during the week, I may be away for 4-6 hours at a time, ensuring each pet receives the attention and exercise they require. In all services I provide, whether it's house sitting, walks, drop-ins, boarding, or daycare, I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for your beloved pets. Depending on the specific service offered, I tailor my care methods to suit the unique needs of each pet, ensuring they feel secure and well-cared for in both my home and yours.
“Normally, when we pick Yoda from a day care or boarding he will express his unhappiness by barking at us trying to tell us he didn’t like it there. But when we picked him up from your place he was all happy and no barks very calm, it tells us he had a good time with you. Thank you for taking good care of him.”

About: Hello! My husband and I are relatively new to being on the care taker end of Rover. But better late than never! A little about us: We live in a spacious house with a yard with 2 cats and 1 dog (and no kids). We also work from home so we are able to pay lots of attention to our pets and yours! I, myself, am an animal lover with years of volunteer work experience in shelters and zoos. I have grown up in a household with many types of pets from dogs and cats to turtles and chickens and peacocks! We fall in love with every animal we meet, and would love to host your pet when they need us! Both me and my husband work from home and always spend tons of time with our pets including pets and walks and play time and cuddles! We have a large tard with a 6-foot fence. We have two cats and a dog but we can dedicate an entire floor to your pets and spend time with them if separation is necessary from other animals. In the case that the animals don’t get along, we also tend to put our pets in different rooms and spend time with your pet in the main living area. But our pets are very friendly!

We like our dogs to feel comfortable always, so they are allowed on couches, etc and we have a lot of comfy areas for them to hang.

“We originally asked Caroline if she could walk and feed our two dogs as we were planning to a long day trip. However, we woke up to find our oldest dog not doing very well. It turned out that he had cancer and that we would have to put him down. It was a long agonizing day trying of running tests and considering options before finally deciding that the most humane treatment would be to euthanize. Through all this, we are thankful to Caroline who took care of our remaining fur children--a dog and a cat. It was a great relief to not have to think or worry about them so we could focus on our oldest dog in his time of need.”
“Charles is great! She accepted our last minute request and did an amazing job with our three pups! She gained new loyal clients for sure. Thank you Chelsea! You will be highly recommended to our friends and family.”

I’m skilled at administering oral medications, giving insulin injections, and monitoring pets for any changes in their health or behavior. I also have plenty of experience walking dogs of all sizes—from tiny lap pups to large, energetic breeds—always focusing on their safety, comfort, and happiness. I currently work part-time as a Veterinary Assistant, which gives me hands-on experience with animal care and handling in a clinical setting. I’m also a student enrolled in an online Veterinary Technology program, so I’m always learning and expanding my knowledge about animal health and behavior. Because of my flexible schedule, I have availability on some weekdays and weekends for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. This allows me to combine my passion for animals with my professional training while giving pets the love and attention they deserve when their families can’t be there. Whenever I’m in a home with pets, I make it a priority to tune into their needs, read their body language, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. About: My husband and I live with our 7 and 4 yr old girls in a sidewalk lined Westborough neighborhood. In your reservation, please mention any behavioral patterns or phobias. (Does your dog take a while to do business outside? Does he or she squat several times? How long can he or she go without potty breaks? Do we have a runner?) Bring your pup, I'll bring the love and care! P.S. Please bring a crate for your dog if in the past, your dog has gotten into things and chewed. Many dog owners find themselves surprised that their dogs may exhibit destructive behavior at a sitter's house that they do not exhibit at home, like chewing and tearing things up. Your dog, in this case, will only be crated while we are out of the house. My husband works full-time, while I am home intermittently. But your baby will get lots of attention. During the weekdays, the house sits empty anywhere 3-5hrs. Your pet must be OK with that. I grew up with dogs: Scottish Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Rottweiler, Dachshunds, Chinese Crested, and Silky Terriers are the dogs my family members have owned and loved in my lifetime. I have no dogs of my own (anymore), but two little girls who just love and crave a dog in the house. If your dog is a no-no on little kids, this will not be a good fit for you.

We feel lucky to have found them and Luna loves them and their pup Tatum. I’d give more stars if I could!”

“Sarah was absolutely fantastic with our older aged GSD. Her retriever got along great with our dog and we were very pleased with the level of care provided for our pup when it came to food accommodations (our pup gets anxious when we leave and struggles to eat sometimes). Needless to say, Sarah went above and beyond and we couldn’t be more appreciative of the extraordinary care for our dog as well as all of the communication and photos she provided during the stay. Lastly, Sarah was quite flexible and accommodating with meet and greets, drop off times and pickup times. 10/10 and highly recommend! Thank you Sarah!”
