“Julie is fantastic with dogs. She takes great care of Harlie, as if she were her own. Her sweet Pug Daisy is such a lovely companion for my dog. Such a great dog sitter!”

“Five very waggy stars for Meghan (and her sweet pup, Ralphie)! Meghan is absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that she is a true dog lover with tons of experience, and she knew exactly how to make our dog feel safe, happy, and completely at home. Our dog was treated like a member of her family and had the time of his life playing with Ralphie and the other dogs. The adorable photos and videos gave us so much peace of mind while we were away...and honestly, I think he was a little sad to come home, which is probably the highest compliment a dog can give. We will absolutely book again. Weekend at Ralphie’s is officially dog-approved!”

“i would give 10 stars if i could! Thao took great care of our puppy and we’ve never seen our dog so happy while away from us. We got so many updates and even with the severe weather that occurred during our dogs stay, Thao ensured our dogs safety and comfort! We are extremely grateful for Thao’s expertise and support and would 100% trust her for another stay in the future!”

“Amy & Lamar took amazing care of our dog! We will continue to book with them. They send us photos/videos daily which is so nice to see. Our pup was excited to be back with them!”

“Hannah's care to my dog was wonderful, the photo she sent to me daily really assured me that Ling-Ling was at a sweet home away from home, that gave me a great relieve to be able to enjoy my vacation as I knew Ling-Ling was enjoying her great vacation with Hannah and her 7 years old daughter. I will book with Hannah whenever I need to if no conflict with her schedule. It's a great feeling that I will not feel anxious to plan vacation at the future anymore because I found Hannah.”

“Jessica is fantastic! She took our pup to the park and on her errands which made him very happy. Very communicative too the entire time with photos and videos. And she takes excellent photos to boot!”

“Luciana is an absolutely amazing sitter! My pup stayed with her for three weeks, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She and her whole family treated my dog like one of their own, giving her so much love, care, and attention every single day. I truly appreciated the regular updates and the peace of mind knowing my pup was happy and well cared for while I was away. I would trust Luciana with my dog again without hesitation. I highly, highly recommend Luciana to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy sitter. She is simply the best!”

Poppy seemed so happy and cared for with them when I came To pick her up she didn’t want to leave right away. Really appreciate all of Noor’s Communication.l Plus all the love her family members have to apply. We’re thrilled to have a found a caring sitter.”

I’m so blessed and thankful to have such a wonderful environment and sitter for Olive!”

“Ella took on our 3 month old puppy who at the time was a handful. She kept us updated always and was very confident with him. She dealt with all the puppy challenges with no problem. Our pup Ozzie loved his stay with her. She frequently took him for walks and ensured he was happy and loved. Ella was excellent, and would trust her again!”

“Yailyn did a fantastic job of taking care of my shy kitty! She gave her a pill daily too and was warm and kind which helped my cat warm up to her quickly! Will absolutely be reaching out to Yailyn in the future!!”

“My rover experience with Denis was excellent and I would definitely book with him again. While I did not meet Nikki, it was very nice to know they work as a team and that my pets would have an extra person to care for them! Denis was kind enough to do a meet and greet despite my cats being shy, he asked pertinent questions to their care, which I greatly appreciated, and made me feel extra comfortable knowing he was prepared and experienced. His updates throughout the booking put me at ease, and I came back to happy cats, which is all I could ask for.”

About: I have a 20 pound black cat and I'm literally in love ( the vet calls him Lebron James ) . I have been a cat lover since the day I was born. I have also watched my female cat Stacey give birth to kittens and can take full care of cats of all ages. Cats are cute adorable and the best little creatures ever.

“Jason was great, as usual! My cats are always excited to see him and clearly feel comfortable in his presence based on the photos and videos he takes. My husband and I are very happy with the care he provides and appreciate his detailed reports and responsiveness. Will definitely hire again!”
“Beth did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, Winnie, while we were on vacation. She was reliable, attentive, and great with communication, which gave us total peace of mind. Winnie was happy and well cared for when we returned home. We truly appreciate Beth and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Diana was wonderful with our two playful kitties over the holidays! She was always on time, was very communicative, and had great attention to detail. Most of all, I can tell she really cares for animals. I highly recommend her and would love to have her watch our kitties anytime!”

About: I'm an experienced caretaker, especially with large dogs and fish! I also have much experience with rodents and other small animals. Above all, I love critters, and I'm always happy to build on my experiences or learn a new caretaking skill. I'm a college student home for the summer, with access to a bike-and sometimes a car-so I can get anywhere at any time. It's important to me that pets receive quality care, so no matter what, they'll always be my priority. I don't board, but in clients' homes I make sure to follow guidelines given to me! I love to walk dogs, and will take them for a stroll as many times as needed, but I'm also happy to stay in-home and play with a pet there. Whatever makes them the happiest!
“Both cats are very shy. I was surprised that the one cat that was the shyest came out. Paige was able to take pictures and interact with her while I was away those 4 days. She sent me pictures and reports which assured me everything was going well. I highly recommend her.”

“Tara instantly accepted my booking request and was really easy to communicate with leading up to the booking. She gave great reports and photos while doing the drop ins. Thanks Tara!”

“When booking for a boarding weekend, neither Lauren and I were sure whether our cats would be a good fit for a weekend boarding stay. She was more than willing to be flexible and try a one night boarding stay to test out if a longer weekend stay would work. Lauren was friendly, attentive, caring to my cat. Her home was welcoming for my pet. She provided photos. Thank you Lauren for trying a one night trial run!”

About: I have had dogs all my life. I enjoy helping walk, groom and play with them so they can relax and nap by the fireplace. I have trained puppies and also have had senior dogs too as well as meds admin also. I work from home so dogs are vital to me and they make me feel so happy. I love them and they love me so it is a win win. It is nice to be popular too with my K9s as they enjoy my big fenced in yard too which we love to run around in and play all day. I follow directions given to me and listen to the owners as they know their baby best. Other than that I give the dogs all my love and attention.

About: My wife, Jana, and I have been dog lovers our entire lives. Currently, we're proud parents to our wonderful pup, Lula. Lula is a 75lb Komondor-mix. Recently, we said goodbye to our other beloved senior dog, so we understand the unique needs and joys of older dogs. We'd love to open our home to another dog, if only temporarily, to bring some companionship to Lula and fill our hearts with double joy once again. Rest assured, your furry friend will be treated like family while you're away. We can't wait to welcome them into our home with open arms! Jana and I both work from home, ensuring that there's always someone around during the day to provide company and care for your pet. Occasionally, we may step out for a meal or activity in the evenings or on weekends, but your pet will never be left unattended for more than a few hours at a time. Our cozy home boasts a fenced backyard, providing a safe haven for your pet. We enjoy daily walks in our scenic and relaxing neighborhood, ensuring your dog gets plenty of fresh air and exercise if desired. Our dog Lula is e-collar trained, and is playful with other dogs & humans
About: Hi, I’m Yailyn! I have a genuine love for animals and hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, as well as other small pets. I’ve done everything from dog sitting, cat care, and walks to feeding and bath time—always making sure each pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. I also offer dedicated cat care, whether your kitty loves playtime, cuddles, or just having someone around to keep them company. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to work with you to make sure your furry friend gets the best care possible. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them all the love and attention they deserve! 🐾✨ Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I currently work from home. This allows me to be flexible with my schedule, giving me plenty of time for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and quality care throughout the day. 🐾✨ When caring for pets, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each owner’s routine closely to keep things familiar for their pet. This includes regular feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. Whether in my home or yours, I create a calm and caring environment. I make sure pets have everything they need—from fresh water and a cozy space to plenty of love and care. 🐾✨
About: Hi! I'm Livia, and animals have been my whole world for as long as I can remember. Over the years my husband and I have had our own four dogs, two bunnies, and two ducks (yes, really!), so "a little bit of everything" is genuinely our specialty. We don't have any pets of our own right now, which is actually one of the best things about your furry friend staying with us. Your pet gets the run of the house with no resident animals to negotiate with, which is a huge relief for shy, anxious, or reactive dogs/cats who just need room to decompress. And there's a LOT of room. Our entire downstairs is 2,000 square feet and completely open to our guests, with dog beds tucked into every room so they can pick their favorite spot. Outside is a full fenced-in acre yard: space to run, sniff, and roll around in the grass without ever needing a trip to the park. Best of all, at least one of us is home all day, every day. Your pet is never left alone and never crated (unless you'd prefer them to be crated). We're happy handling puppies still learning the rules, seniors who need a gentler pace, medications on a schedule, and nervous pets who need someone patient. And if anything ever were to come up, we're literally a two-minute drive from three different emergency vet clinics. We're looking forward to welcoming your pet! My husband and I both work from home, which is the whole reason we're able to do this so well. There's no window where the house is empty - someone is always here, in the same room (usually being used as a pillow by one of our guests!). That means your pet's routine gets to stay your pet's routine. Whatever their feeding schedule is, we'll keep it. Meds at 7am and 7pm? Done. A dog who needs a mid-afternoon nap in a quiet room, or one who wants to be outside every hour on the hour? Also fine. We're not working around a commute, so we can build the day around them instead of the other way around. You'll get a few photos and updates a day, so you can see exactly how they're settling in. And we always do a meet-and-greet before booking, so everyone (including your pet) knows who they're staying with before the first night. Our yard is a full fenced acre behind a 6-foot privacy fence, so there's serious room to run with no gaps to squeeze through. Inside, our whole downstairs (about 2,000 square feet) is open to our guests, with dog beds in every room so they can pick their preferred spot. Cats stay upstairs in their own quiet, private bedrooms with the doors closed, completely separate from any dogs. We don't have pets of our own, so nobody's defending their territory when your pet walks in. Every booking starts with a meet-and-greet, and if we're hosting more than one family at a time, new dogs meet slowly and on leash in the yard before they're ever loose together. If any pair isn't a match, they get separated. Someone is home 24/7, so your pet is never left alone. We're comfortable with medications, senior pets who need a gentler pace, and nervous ones who need time. And we're literally a two-minute drive from three emergency vet clinics if anything ever were to come up.

“As a first-time dog daycare user, I was filled with worry, but Thea went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. I'm confident that it was a wonderful experience for my dog, Chester, as well. It's hard to put into words how touching the experience was. I am so grateful to Thea, and I have no doubt about her love for dogs. As long as she's available, I will continue to entrust her with Chester.”

“This house is the definition of love. My dog loves to be around this family and is such a humble experience to know that Uma is so happy to go and spend time with them. Space is super clean, yard is so big and they simply love animals. I came across angels and I’m very very grateful for them!”

I’m very comfortable giving medications to pets as I’ve had a lot of practice with this with my own pets and while sitting! We’ve left Nysa with him more than three times now, and Balaji is always our first preference. He keeps us updated throughout the day with pictures, which gives us so much peace of mind. While we’re at work, we feel completely stress-free knowing Nysa is in such good hands. It’s also been great to see how well his dog has adapted to Nysa—they have so much fun together. “Pat took great care of my dog. She has a lot of experience and really cares about animals. This was my dog's first time with Pat and he seemed to have enjoyed himself (even though he was a little uneasy with an unfamiliar environment). I definitely recommend Pat to care for your fur babies.”

Over the years, we’ve provided pet care through Rover and have also regularly helped out neighbors with their dogs—feeding, walking, playing, and giving lots of love. About: Hello! We love furry friends. We will spend time with your pets and take best care of them. We will let your pets feel like they are always surrounded with love. We need to go to office three days a week. We will get home around 5pm and both me and my husband can take care daily. We have a very friendly 6 years old yellow lab, Coco, at home. “This is the first time we’ve had someone (who is not our family) watch our dog. I was very nervous especially be in Poppy is young - she’s just a year old. Noor watched Poppy for a day. Noor was so patient with her - poppy was initially apprehensive to go in their house, but Noor took her time to ensure Poppy was comfortable. Noor asked questions about feeding, walks, general behavior & preferences. this put me at ease knowing she was thinking these. We did this trial daycare in preparation for a longer stay for Poppy later this year. Noor was also very communicative with texts and also a video! We were happy with the care poppy received and plan to book with Noor again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was ~10 years old. I grew up with many dogs in the house - mostly big labs. From a young age my parents expected me to walk, feed, play, and care for my dogs. 5 years ago I adopted my own 14 week old pup Boz from a rescue. I was his primary care giver, trained him, socialized him, and love him dearly. When I moved to SF he stayed home with my family since he hyper attached to my family’s dog. Also 5 years ago I began working at a shelter. Over the course of a few years I worked with hundreds of dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also fostered about 5-10 dogs during this time. Since then I have also walked dogs at the SF SPCA (SF shelter). Additionally during high school I traveled and built a dog shelter in Costa Rica and aided in a vet clinic, helping prep and care for dogs pre and post surgery. I love all dogs and would love to spend time with your dog! I am currently working from home in Highland Park. I have some control over my schedule and day so I can spend time with pets in the mornings, afternoons, or between my calls! I have no fur babies right now at home so am flexible. I have done house sitting before and will be very respectful of any space I am in!
“Amy has walked our greyhound Benny for a few months now and it's going great. She also gives him his mid day meds. Now that the weather is nice, Benny loves laying in the yard for a stretch and she accommodates him. He's a very happy dog when she comes to walk him. I Highly recommend Amy!”

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was young, starting with my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog. Today, I'm the go-to sitter my sister relies on to care for her little fluffball, whether it's for an evening away or extended vacations. I'm comfortable providing consistent, attentive care for every pet -- and following your every instruction to make sure your pet stays happy and healthy while you're away. I currently work a flexible, non-traditional schedule that includes fantasy illustration projects and teaching art classes. This gives me built-in gaps during the day that I'd love to fill with dog care, whether that means walks, playtime, or multi-day companionship. Your dog's routine and well-being are my top priorities. I make sure that your dog gets the best care possible and will follow all instructions to the letter: setting phone alarms to ensure potty breaks and meals happen right on time, monitoring treats so your dog is neither over- nor under-indulged, and sticking closely to established sleep schedules. I'm equally respectful of your home, taking care to leave it as clean and orderly (or better) than when I arrived.

About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. Whether it's walking dogs, checking in on cats, staying overnight, or helping out with last-minute requests, I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Several people encouraged me to join Rover because of how often I already care for their furry family members. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to earn their trust while providing patient, dependable care.
“Chloe was so great for our big boy. Pictures tell the story… showing his belly, ball in mouth and tongue hanging out. He looked very happy. Great communication and we met before the first walk. Thank you! I wish you were staying around.”

About: I had 2 dogs growing up, and helped my parents take care of them. My parents were busy most days, so I was the one who would take them for walks. My dog recently got his teeth removed, so I also learned how to take care of him and how to feed him properly with that in mind. I’ve also had to take care of both dogs when my parents are out of town, taking them outside, administering medication, and feeding and providing water for them. I have done the same for my grandparents. I love animals a lot, and I volunteered at animal shelters in high school and can properly care for and clean up after many pets.. I’m currently taking all of my classes online, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I can be available at any needed times, both weekdays and weekends. I will provide food and water according to instructions. I will keep a clean, safe, and loving environment, and ensure that they get time to play and exercise regularly. I’m great at following instructions, and I am very attentive to any special requests that are given by the owner.
“Stephen is great with our silly, high energy dog Roxy (doberman). We always feel comfortable she is in good hands under their care and she is always happy (based on the fun photo update we get). I would highly recommend their services”

“Diana was prompt, responsive and reliable! She was great to work with and I felt so much relief leaving my pets in good hands while I was away. Thank you Diana! Will absolutely rebook soon”

“Denis is our favorite dog walker in the area. He's responsible and trustworthy. We always feel at ease when he stops by for drop-in visits. He takes very good care of our boy Bentley and provides pics that make us smile. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone good to care for their pets.”

“Jason was awesome with our dog! He is super responsive, easy-going, and you could tell he cares about making sure he follows all the owners requests. He came out of his way to meet us beforehand which helped me feel more comfortable with a new dog walker, especially since beagles have some quirks ;) Douglas had a great time with Jason and we will be sure to book with him again in the future!”

I am retired and have time and love enough to care for your small dog or cat. We travel a bit but am available when in town. I’m available for drop in visits or overnights. I am experienced keeping an active dog entertained. I can take small dogs for walks in your neighborhood
About: I’ve taken care of and loved dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. From puppies/kittens to seniors and in between. And all sizes! I also have experience with special needs dogs, including my own collie who had lower jaw removal surgery. I’ve had 2 cats in this time from when they were young to seniors. I recently adopted 2 young cats who love people. For dogs, I’ve adopted dogs of all different ages with various health needs. I only occasionally go into the office and work from home Mon - Fri. I’m used to having multiple animals so I’m comfortable with whatever their schedule may need. I want to follow the routine you have created and anything else to make sure they feel comfortable in my home or yours. They will get lots of love and attention from me during our time together!

“My dog felt like he was at home with Lauren! Awesome experience throughout. I was given updates and pictures. Felt at ease during my vacation knowing my dog was well taken care of. Would definitely book again with Lauren!”

“We love Lori and Mark. Our dog stayed with them two times now and was loved on the entire time. No worries on our end. We received updates while we were away and nothing but tail wags when we picked him up! We will definitely be a repeat customer and recommend them for your pups. 5 stars all the way!”

“Once again, Regina George had a great stay with Akemi and Kazu, this time for a long weekend. She quickly settled in and they kept us updated with lots of adorable videos and photos. We always appreciate the care they show her and look forward to Regina staying with them again soon.”

“Yamile is super nice and you can tell she likes pets. She took good care of my dog and cat. I also appreciated that her dog was very chill, even around my cat (they barely acknowledged each other!). Would book with her again.”

“We are very happy with the service provided by Yailyn. Hank stayed with her for 8 days and came home a very happy dog. She kept us updated throughout the trip, and sent us photos of Hank having a great time. We will definitely is Yailyn again. Thank you, Yailyn!”

“Byron and Martha are the best. They took really good care of our dog Noki. They followed up each day with photos and followed all instructions for care. Will be reaching out again for his service thru Rover. For sure a 5 star sitter. Thanks again!”

“Ron and Jeff were very accommodating for our last minute booking. We really appreciate them giving our pup, Kona, extra attention and love while we welcomed a baby into our family. Our dog needed the getaway and he came home very happy. They are great about sending us updates and pictures! Kona loves seeing them.”

“Thea is the best dog sitter I have ever encountered. She is loving, caring, patient, flexible and with lots of experiences with dogs. She provided us plenty of updates, photos, and suggestions to improve my handling with dog. She is truly appreciated and we will definitely book her again.”

“One word for Melissa….Amazing. Now a few more words why. Melissa took such perfect care of our cat Toewz. He was so happy and she kept us in the loop while out of the country with so many adorable pics. Melissa is a sweetheart, caring, smart and professional. She knows how and without a doubt love your pet the way they deserve. She also has a wonderful and large home which is always a bonus. Thanks Melissa. Toewz or our dog Ozzy will see you again soon enough Dave”

“Mo had some great quality dog time with the pack at Jeremy's this past weekend! It was really nice not having to worry if he was getting enough outside time while we were gone or having to race home to let him out. We will definitely be using Jeremy's boarding services again!”
