While living there I volunteered at a shelter for 5 years called “4luvofdog.” I would host dogs and puppies needing a temporary place to stay while awaiting their “furever” home. Along with that I grew up with big and small dogs as well as cats, and watch my siblings/friends dogs regularly. Watching and caring for animals is a passion and self care hobby of mine as my job is very demanding. I leave my place around 7:15am and back by 5:15pm. •For check ins I’m available Monday-Friday 5:15pm-9pm and anytime on weekends. •For overnights; drop off and pick up before 7am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends I am available anytime. •I’m very accommodating and easy going! As long as the communication is open and honest, I won’t have a problem accommodating needs :) I live in a very cute neighborhood in downtown Benson and love to go on long walks looking at the real estate! No kids, roommates, or pets! My home does not have a fenced in yard and has stairs leading up to the unit. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives, I grew up helping my family run a boarding kennel from our home. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and making every dog feel safe and loved while they're away from home. Caring for dogs is truly a team effort in our household. My husband has been around dogs since he was a child and has years of hands-on experience with all types of animals including exotic animals like snakes and lizards. Our roommate worked professionally at a boarding facility and has experience with managing routines, exercise, medication, and caring for multiple dogs in a safe environment. Our 9 year old also helps with feeding routines with our animals and is excited to help with yours, She loves playing fetch and hide and seek with the dogs in the backyard, and our 8 month old will lovingly giggle at them and attempt to feed them his crackers. If your pet is able to hold their potty from 8:00am-5:00pm then please still message me. Ihave my own little fury friend which I walk, take to the restroom, handle her food and water daily needs for the past 6 years. I have house/pet sat for over 18 owners, and sat more than 25 dogs, and 10 cats. I like to leave things as I found them, or better if I can. Also, great with cats, fish, and used to own 2 turtles as well and wouldn’t mind watching your turtles or any additional pets, just shoot me a message and see! I work from 8am-5pm, M-F, I have a few hobbies but other than that I’m sitting! If your pet is able to be let out every 5 hours then our schedules should align perfectly. PLEASE NOTE: If your pet needs to be let out before 6:00am I will not be able to provide services for you. I am currently only available to house/ dog sit at your location because I stay with my mom, and although we do have our own dog, that’s all she can handle at a time 🤗
