“I had a last minute request (day before) for someone to watch my dog for a day because he recently injured his pads on all 4 feet and I needed to go to work but was not comfortable leaving him alone. At the time when Kathleen watched him, he was in a cone and on medication. When we talked beforehand, Kathleen was very kind and thoughtful, asking great questions and anticipating potential needs to make sure he would be safe and comfy in her care. While watching him, he ended up feeling a bit better than he had been in previous days and not as groggy from his medications, so was not as calm as I thought he would be for her, but she still did a great job of making sure he stayed safe and did not re-injure his feet. She provided updates at reasonable intervals without me having to ask and was very kind the entire time, even with me not knowing exactly what time I would be able to pick him up. Thanks so much to Kathleen, I would definitely trust her to watch my boy again.”

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8 years old. Growing up we always had at least 4 dogs in our household, and when I left college I knew I wanted a dog in my home. I found my dog, Herald, on the streets of Montana, and gave him his forever home. I have cared for him and friends, family and neighbors pets when I am able to and know the love and care a dog needs to be safe and secure. I am currently working part-time, and when I get a full-time job, I am looking for something remote. I can make sure my schedule meets my client's needs and can guarantee all pups will be played with, taken out for bathroom breaks, and given walks and treats! Currently, I will not offer dogs in my home unless absolutely necessary. I don't have a fenced-in yard yet, so I don't want to take the chance.
