“Nina had a great time! This was her first time with Ann so I was a little bit nervous, but Ann and her husband were awesome! I got lots of videos seeing what Nina was up to and she got to do lots of enrichment activities while she was with them. It felt like they were clearly very passionate about dogs and now that Nina’s home, she’s super tired so I can tell she had a great time. Felt like we had plenty of communication throughout the visit.”

“Angela took great care of Milo and provided pictures and videos while we were out. We felt very comfortable with her care the entire time. Milo bonded with Jazzy instantly and never had any issues. About: Hi, I'm Anna! I am a passionate, highly trained animal lover dedicated to giving your pet the safest and most fun experience possible. Since March, I have been an active volunteer with the Sacramento SPCA, where I have completed intensive online courses and hands-on, in-person training in canine behavior, body language, and socialization. I am fully certified to handle and walk the shelter's Green and Orange color-coded dogs. Because of my training and reliability, the SPCA also trusts me with their Foster Furlough program for their highest-need Pink color-coded dogs. This means I regularly take these advanced-level dogs out of the shelter environment for day trips and overnight stays in my home to give them a break. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk, structured socialization, or just an attentive and loving overnight companion, I know exactly how to read their body language and keep them safe in real-world situations. I have a very flexible part-time schedule, my own reliable vehicle for check-ins, and a deep commitment to following your exact house rules and routines. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I don’t work so I’m home pretty much all time unless I’m running errands. I’m available Tuesday-sat to come and help out with your babies!! I have a fenced yard but always prefer to watch them while there going potty or playing! I’d also be able to crate them if needed:)

For example, she took the trash out on the last check in visit so that we would come home to a clean-smelling house. She wrote us amazing summaries of her visits with our kitty - reading them filled me with joy and made me feel better about being away from our pet. She made toys for our cat out of paper, which helped us discover Zelda’s love of paper balls! We will reach out to Jessica for all of our future pet needs.”

About: I currently own two cats, one of which I had to bottle feed and care for around the clock because I rescued her at 4 weeks old. I have done a lot of anxious research to make sure I take care of her correctly. I have cat sat for a friend before and had a great experience.

She was so considerate, asked me how much I would like to be updated per day, shared how Oreo was doing physically and emotionally (Oreo was so comfortable and happy there). All of the items I dropped off with Oreo were cleaned and returned perfectly. Gladys even asked if Oreo could have some of her Churu treats. So kind! Thank you Gladys!”

About: Having been through some pretty big life changes recently, I’m reminded to slow down and focus on things that make me happy. One thing that makes me happy is dogs. I’ve also wanted to get out and take more walks, so what better way to enjoy both than dog walking. I’ve had pets of all types all my life, but dogs are hands down my favorite. I currently have two of my own and occasionally watch my friends’ dogs. A friend of mine uses Rover, and I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a teen, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have taken a few training classes when my dog was a puppy and I have some experience with special needs (seniors, blindness, low mobility, and seizures). I work full time, but telework three days a week. For midday visits and dog walks, someone close to home would be best to ensure availability. We can always discuss evening visits or walks as well. For boarding, unless discussed and scheduled prior, weekends would best to ensure I can be home with your fur babe. I treat visiting pups like my own. They’re allowed on my furniture and in my bed. I have multiple crates of various sizes if a crate is needed. My yard is fenced, but dogs aren’t typically left unattended in the yard. I have seven free range chickens in my yard, so their safety is also a concern for me. I’m also open to discussion if your dogs’ needs don’t align with my typical routine; I don’t mind changing things up if it’s something I can accommodate.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 13 years, including cats, dogs, bearded dragons, a chameleon, and a turtle. I understand that every cat has its own personality. Whether they’re playful, shy, independent, or affectionate. I take the time to earn their trust while respecting their routine. I’ve cared for my own cats and friends and family’s. Whether your cat needs feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, medication, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your cat is in good hands.

“Martha did an excellent job caring for our two cats. This was the longest we had been away but the photos and daily updates definitely put our minds at ease. Our cats clearly felt comfortable with Martha and she even got our shy cat Jefferson to come out of hiding!”

About: Hello, I love dogs. I have had them my whole life growing up, (Boxer's mostly). We recently rescued a Alaskan husky from the animal shelter and a brand new puppy (bull mastiff and pit bull mix). I am very responsible and love to have your doggy come hang out with our duo while you are away. I have two boys (ages 16 and 13) at home as well that love to love on some doggies. We are an active family that plays soccer and if possible would take your dog with us to the parks for some park time, of course if this is okay with you. I want you to to have peace of mind and that you can count and rely on me when you are away.

About: Growing up I have always had a cat in the house. I truly adore these tiny balls of chaos and joy. Weather you need me to do a simple check in, feed, clean the litter box, or just engage in so much needed fun, I am the one for the job!

“Cheyenne was an amazing cat sitter!! She committed to helping us out super last minute and had great communication while we were out of town. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

“I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with Ann! I had hired her to do a couple walks first so my dog was super comfortable with her. Ann had lots of toys for Rio and also took her on two walks during her day. She also got to chase squirrels in the Anns backyard. It’s so great to have a trustworthy person to watch my dog when I need it. Thanks Ann!”

They are spoiled… Some would say too spoiled 😆 While I’m not home with them, my husband holds down the fort. If you choose me, I’m confident your pets will feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. I treat them like my babies. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d love to see if we would be a good fit!

About: I’m generally great with animals and I’ve been a cat mom for 3 years now so I’m quite good at making sure a pet is taken care of. I go the extra mile. And follow directions pretty well. Just finished pet CPR training. I’m relatively flexible but prefer to work in the morning because my other job is at night. Totally free Sundays. I have class Thursday evenings right now and I’m usually at the gun range Saturdays but all other days of the week, I’m flexible. I do a bit of traveling but I will block off those days or I’ll let you know if I’m not available on your requested days. Just let me know ahead of time and I’ll let you know of if I can accommodate your request. I prefer texting via the app as much as possible. I make sure to respect your cat’s space and that their needs are met. I feed pets as instructed. Give treats as necessary. Make sure they have adequate water.

“Jill is phenomenal! I have a very rambunctious 2 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix and she has been fantastic with her. Jill is conscious to reinforce our training with heeling and making sure my dog doesn't go crazy over squirrels. I would hire Jill over and over again.”
About: My older brother and I live together while I am in graduate school. I have a dog, Zoey, and with her being my only baby, we love bringing dogs in to play with her and join us on hikes and beach days! Darius and I are huge dog lovers with 4 years of experience taking care of fur babies! We both work mostly from home and am home all day on weekends. I am in graduate school, but those are evening classes, so I am able to give the dogs a full day of love and play and dinner before popping into class. My brother is home when I am not, but we are often home together with the dogs. Darius is more athletic than I am so he’ll run with the pups and I’m more here for fetch and cuddles 🥰 In the warmer months, I hike and go to the beach on weekends about once a month, but I always bring Zoey! I go with my friends (one has a senior dog and one wishes she had a dog) so I always have a helper if you are okay with your dog joining! My pictures show one of Zoey’s repeat besties who goes with me hiking, on trails, and to the beaches often! I am a mama bear for my dog and her safety and We make it our mission to do the same for yours! I have a fenced yard and on walks use a gentle lead so that she can’t get too far or choke. I monitor feedings and keep any ingestion-prone toys and objects away from all pets.
“Oreo and I so appreciate Amanda and Hector’s help during these beginning weeks of the new school year! I know Oreo looks forward to going on his lunch potty breaks with Hector where he can sniff to his heart’s content. 🐕 💜 🥰 We truly appreciate Hector’s flexibility when he comes a bit earlier some days due to the hotter weather or Oreo’s needs. We will definitely be requesting Amanda & Hector again!”

Training skills I have acquired are potty training, crate training, various commands, and leash training. Excited to meet your fur babies!! I am a full time grad student, so I have the flexibility of being available during my break from classes! I am mainly available Monday-Thursdays after 1pm & Fridays-Sundays all day! I will meet your pets’ physical and mental stimulation through walks and play time. I will make sure they are well fed, have plenty of water, take them outside for potty breaks, and give them lots of snuggles!!

I treat every home as if it were my own and every pet as if they were family.. My children and I started watching dogs in 2013 as a way for them to have the experience of having a furry friend and the responsibility it teaches. Over the years we have had the pleasure of bonding with regulars (the dogs, cats and sometimes the people too!) learning about breed specific tendencies and characteristics and have and continue to enjoy having the furry guests stay with us. My kids have since grown up and moved out on their own. Restless in my empty nest I have moved on. As such my house is no longer available for boarding. However, I am continuing to house sit which I started doing about a year or so prior to having doggy guests. I am also available for drop in visits and walking services. Feel free to contact me with any questions! Cheers! My schedule is flexible and allows me to adapt to your pet’s existing routine so their day stays as normal and predictable as possible. I prioritize consistency with feeding times, walks, medications, and companionship. Because I focus on house sitting and drop-in visits, I’m able to give pets unrushed attention and maintain the rhythm they’re used to with their owners. I provide care in your home so pets can remain in their familiar environment, which helps reduce stress and anxiety. I follow all care instructions closely and keep a clean, respectful presence in your home. I’m very reliable for overnight stays, extended trips, and daily check-ins. I treat every home with care and every pet as if they were my own, prioritizing safety, calm handling, and clear communication with you while you’re away.

About: I'm a lifelong dog and cat lover, and I’ve cared for pets from their youngest, most rambunctious years to wise seniors needing slower days. One of my own dogs started out extremely anxious, so I’m also experienced with shy or nervous pets who need calm, gentle care, and maybe a few treats to help the process along ;) I'm also up to raise my heartrate a little jogging, going on long walks, or playing tug-of-war with younger bubs who want a bit more excitement. What I Can Do for Your Pets: - Handle larger/stronger pups (my own are both pitties with lots of energy that I walk on a dual-lead leash) - Administer meds & monitor health - Long walks, playtime, and enrichment fun - Puppy, kitten, and senior care - Multi-pet household management - Work through reactivity & behavior support - Build trust and confidence in nervous pets I’d love to give your pets the same patient, loving care I give my own! Hope to hear from you soon :) I work remotely with flex-time, so my schedule is quite adaptable. I can make most times work to bring the best care to your babies! I focus on keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable in their own home. In past experiences watching friends' animals, following each pet’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications has helped them feel secure and well cared for. I give shy or anxious pets plenty of space and patience, avoiding overwhelm and encouraging a calm and confidence in their space. Despite how well we try to prepare ourselves, I know leaving your furry friends in the care of relative strangers can be an emotionally taxing experience. That's why I really enjoy keeping pet parents updated with notes and pictures about walks, play, meals, and behavior, so they can relax knowing their pets are happy and loved. I also enjoy taking dogs on long walks around neighborhoods, local parks, or even along the river, fitting into whatever their routine is or you as the owner would like it to be, of course. My own dogs and I have been working through their reactivity training with a clicker and training treats. I'm no expert, but they have come a long way since we started! If you have a reactive dog, rest easy knowing this isn't new to me and that I'm willing to work with them and follow your lead on whatever it is they need in those moments. Regardless of their background, every pet in my care gets patience, love, and a reassuring presence <3

“Jessica is amazing! She has walked our 2 dogs for us when we’ve been away on a couple of occasions now and she’s done a great job every time. Our dogs can be a bit difficult to handle (one is very reactive and the other can be nervous, both can be unsure about strangers) and she handled them with ease and they’re very happy to see her now. She went above and beyond, and even spent some extra time hanging out with them. I would highly recommend her!”
About: I have had dogs (and cats) my entire life. Trained, love and traveled across the US with my animals in tow with me. We currently have two dogs, Ozzy & Bear. I am retired and love to garden, travel and play with our dogs! We moved back to the Sacramento Area recently and would like to do something fun and thought pet sitting would fit perfect. No pet sitting at our house. Animals need to be in their own environment where it is safe and they are comfortable with their own toys & bed.

“Absolutely the best! My dog probably loves being at Alexis's more than his own home :/. She was amazing with last minute changes and I can't say enough positive things. A+!”

“Coryn is literally the best! Chiku gets so excited to see her and he gets so much playtime. I always feel safe and happy leaving Chiku with Coryn. She is also very flexible and communicative. Couldn’t have asked for anyone better to watch Chiku!”

“Gabriela was a great sitter for our dog! She was communicative and sent us little updates each day. She asks all the right questions and paid attention to all the details and preferences of to make our dudes stay with as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much!”

“Doh was great with boarding my dog who occasionally has issues with other dogs. She was able to play in her own separated yard. Doh was also willing to accept her last minute for a holiday. We will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Thank you so much, Serena & Wes! We loved knowing our sweeties were safe and cared for while we were away. We received lots of photos & videos of them playing, eating, and walking, and they came back to us happy and stress-free. Thank you!!🤗”

“After having many many people watch my dog I have finally found someone in Derek and Leslie that I have 100% trust in! They treat Molly like family therefore they are family to me! Very kind, respectful, and nurturing to my girl - I take comfort in knowing where she is going to be for the day or the week! I recommend giving them a try if you are in the Sacramento area. “Tracy was amazing with Holly, and Holly came back home so happy after her visit there. Tracy gave Holly her meds as needed, lots of attention and pets. I would definitely leave Holly with her again.”

“Melissa was a great sitter for my dog over the holidays. She sent pictures to update me on how my dog was doing and went above and beyond to make sure his stay would be comfortable. Melissa was also very flexible and communicative when my flights were delayed and I wasn’t sure about a pickup time. Would absolutely consider booking Melissa again in the future.”

“Michele was a wonderful sitter for our pup Wiley. She was very gentle and accommodating and took Wiley on many walks and play dates. She sent great photos and her communication was great! We loved meeting her lovely family and they all pitched in in sitting Wiley. Thank you!”

“Had a very pleasant experience with boarding two dogs with Jataveya. The drop off and pickup were smooth, she was responsive to messages, and had nice updates and things to say about our little ones when we feel like they can be a bit of a pain sometimes lol. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“As a sitter myself, I really value someone who’s communicative, kind, and understanding, and Johnna is all of that and more. My dog is a little eccentric, and she was incredibly patient and attentive in learning her quirks, making sure her needs were met, and keeping us updated along the way. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again and truly appreciate her so much.”

“Pranavi was wonderfully accommodating! We had several unexpected issues (on our end) that she was able to gracefully deal with, and we are very grateful to her for doing so. Our dog appeared to have had a wonderful time staying with her. This was our first time with Pranavi and we will gladly book again. Cheers!”

“Erin and Devin took such amazing care of our dog, Kody, while we were away. Kody is usually pretty anxious, so we’re always a bit nervous leaving him—but he absolutely loved being with them. It was clear from the updates that he felt comfortable, happy, and right at home. Knowing he was in such good hands allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation stress-free, which means everything. We’re so grateful to have found Erin and Devin and wouldn’t hesitate to trust them with Kody again. Highly recommend!”

“Sarah was AMAZING with my pups. She was extremely accommodating and made sure they were well taken care of! She ensured safety is her number one priority which was extremely important to me! They loved it so much, when I came to pick them up, they didn’t want to leave! She also made sure to update me everyday with cute pictures and messages! My pups can’t wait to see Sarah again! THANK YOU!”

“Regina’s did a great job taking care of Kobe. She sent me pictures and videos almost every day, and she even dropped him off at another dog sitter for me when I wasn't able to since I was out of town for two weeks.”
