“Nina had a great time! This was her first time with Ann so I was a little bit nervous, but Ann and her husband were awesome! I got lots of videos seeing what Nina was up to and she got to do lots of enrichment activities while she was with them. It felt like they were clearly very passionate about dogs and now that Nina’s home, she’s super tired so I can tell she had a great time. Felt like we had plenty of communication throughout the visit.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to a Husky, Rottweiler, and Pit Bull mix. 🐶❤️ Living with three very different dogs has given me plenty of hands-on experience with energetic, strong, playful, and sometimes stubborn personalities! I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I treat every pup with the same patience, care, and attention I give my own. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, some exercise and playtime, or simply a little companionship while you’re away, I’m here to help. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and exercise while they’re in my care. 🐾 Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I have three dogs of my own, so I’m used to keeping up with regular walks, feeding, exercise, playtime, and giving them plenty of attention. I enjoy staying active with my dogs and making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for. I’m comfortable fitting pet care into my daily schedule and giving each pet the individual attention they need. I care for pets with patience, consistency, and plenty of attention. In my own home, I’m used to providing daily exercise, feeding, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love and supervision. When caring for a client’s pet, I follow their specific instructions and routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any special needs. I also make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and getting the individual attention they need. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and leave everything clean and tidy.

“This is the second time Jessica has taken care of our pet. She is everything wonderful! Communicative, caring, easy to work with, we felt so relieved knowing our pet was in her care!! We can’t thank her enough for her help:)”

“Audrey is the sweetest sitter I have hired! Thank you so much for taking care of my beloved cat. Also for the sweet little Independence Day treat you left in our fridge, how thoughtful! Will definitely work with again!”

“Alexandrea dropped in on our 2 big black labs for 3 days while we were traveling. She was always on time and very responsive. I had to add another drop in at the last minute and she was able to help us! I'm very grateful for her hard work and would be happy to use her again.”

About: I didn’t know it then, but my 8th birthday was the day I became a cat person. My first cat was with me from kittenhood until she passed around 16-17, so I’ve been through every stage with a cat — the chaotic kitten phase, the settled adult years, and the slower, more careful senior years. That last part taught me a lot, honestly, including how to give medications without turning it into a wrestling match. I’m comfortable with cats that need extra help or special attention, whether that’s meds, mobility issues, or just extra patience. I currently have two cats of my own, so litter boxes get scooped and kept fresh as part of my daily routine, not an afterthought.

About: I currently own two cats, one of which I had to bottle feed and care for around the clock because I rescued her at 4 weeks old. I have done a lot of anxious research to make sure I take care of her correctly. I have cat sat for a friend before and had a great experience.

“Luke has been great with my little baby girl! She got excited seeing Luke in the first visit so I knew she’d love him! Thank you so much for making my weekend away a fun and safe one for my puppy! I hope to book with you again soon!”

About: Having been through some pretty big life changes recently, I’m reminded to slow down and focus on things that make me happy. One thing that makes me happy is dogs. I’ve also wanted to get out and take more walks, so what better way to enjoy both than dog walking. I’ve had pets of all types all my life, but dogs are hands down my favorite. I currently have two of my own and occasionally watch my friends’ dogs. A friend of mine uses Rover, and I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a teen, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have taken a few training classes when my dog was a puppy and I have some experience with special needs (seniors, blindness, low mobility, and seizures). I work full time, but telework three days a week. For midday visits and dog walks, someone close to home would be best to ensure availability. We can always discuss evening visits or walks as well. For boarding, unless discussed and scheduled prior, weekends would best to ensure I can be home with your fur babe. I treat visiting pups like my own. They’re allowed on my furniture and in my bed. I have multiple crates of various sizes if a crate is needed. My yard is fenced, but dogs aren’t typically left unattended in the yard. I have seven free range chickens in my yard, so their safety is also a concern for me. I’m also open to discussion if your dogs’ needs don’t align with my typical routine; I don’t mind changing things up if it’s something I can accommodate.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 13 years, including cats, dogs, bearded dragons, a chameleon, and a turtle. I understand that every cat has its own personality. Whether they’re playful, shy, independent, or affectionate. I take the time to earn their trust while respecting their routine. I’ve cared for my own cats and friends and family’s. Whether your cat needs feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, medication, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your cat is in good hands.

About: Your pet’s new favorite person! I’m a reliable, gentle, and patient sitter who treats every fur baby like family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or overnight care, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I communicate clearly, send updates, and keep your home just the way you left it. You can relax knowing your pet is in caring, responsible hands. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my daily life. I’m available 7 days a week and make sure each pet gets individualized attention, play, exercise, and affection. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keep their routine consistent, environment clean and stress-free.

“Cheyenne was an amazing cat sitter!! She committed to helping us out super last minute and had great communication while we were out of town. She sent beautiful photos and updates on each kitty which made me feel confident they were in loving, caring hands. We highly recommend Cheyenne for all of your pet sitting needs! We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: I've personally had cats as fur babies my entire life. I understand that every cat has a unique personality and routine. I'm comfortable feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, administering oral medications if needed, and spending quality time playing or simply keeping shy cats company.I currently have a flame-point Siamese who keeps life entertaining with her playful personality and endless curiosity so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care and want to give the peace of mind that comes from knowing your cat is in caring, dependable hands.

About: Hello there! My name is Brenda and I am new to the Greater Sacramento area. Before moving to Rancho Cordova I volunteered at the Inland Valley Humane Society and SPCA. I've always been an animal lover and have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including my own pets and helping care for family and friends' pets. I'm comfortable with different personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine, preferences, and quirks. I'm naturally very patient and attentive with animals, and I genuinely enjoy to know their personalities. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers to relax and cuddle, I'm happy to meet them where they're at and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. My schedule is very flexible right now, so I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, or boarding — mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I may eventually pick up part-time work, but even then I’d still have consistent time set aside for pet care. There’s also a park right across the street from my apartment, so daily walks and playtime are easy to build into the routine. I enjoy having a reason to get outside, stay active, and spend time with animals, so walks and drop-in visits fit really naturally into my day. I am also able to plan my schedule around your pet's routine and make sure they get the attention and care they need rather than feeling like they're just being checked off my list. Your pets safety and comfort are my biggest priorities. I always want pets to feel secure and comfortable in their environment. I live in an apartment with two cats of my own so I don’t currently have dogs at home — just a calm, clean space I keep consistent for any pet staying with me. My cats are used to visitors and generally easygoing, but I’m happy to talk through introductions ahead of time if that matters for your pet. There’s a park directly across the street, which makes it easy to get dogs outside for exercise multiple times a day. I'm respectful of your home, your pet's normal routine. I'll make sure doors and gates are secure, follow feeding and medication instructions when needed, and pay attention to anything that seems unusual with your pet. Most importantly, I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, so I'll treat them with the same patience and care I could want for my own.
“I booked Megan on short notice for doggy daycare was glad that I did. Her location was perfect for the event I was attending. She was easy to communicate with and I felt good about leaving my fur baby with her. My dog enjoyed playing with hers in a nice fenced yard. She sent a photo part way through the day. At pick up he had eaten and was ready to go. A great experience all around.”
“Ann and Steve are great!! Nina is always so happy and also tired out when she comes home. Ann gives a lot of updates and I trust that Nina is in good hands when I leave her with them. She played a lot and ate lots of treats.”

About: I grew up around all types of animals and currently have two goldendoodles, so caring for pets is something I’m very used to. I’m comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and routines like feeding, walks, playtime. I’m a biology major in college and plan on becoming a veterinarian, so animal care is something I take seriously. Friends and family trust me with their pets because I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely care about their well-being. I’m currently a student at a local community college but I’m now on summer break. I’m usually flexible and available, including evenings and weekends. I will make sure your pet gets all the attention, love, and care they deserve while you’re away. “Marianne was amazing! She welcomed my two little Shih Tzus into her home and treated them like they were part of the family. I got a few pictures during the day and could see how relaxed my pups were with her. Highly recommend!”

“Divya was such a great sitter and took amazing care of my dog! She was super accommodating with my work schedule and even with my delayed pickup. She kept me updated with regular messages and photos. Bodhi had such a great time with her dog, and it was clear he was happy and well taken care of. I’ll definitely be dropping him off with her again soon! 🐾❤️”

“Johnna took such great care of Luna. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. We received pictures and updates that kept us feeling confident in her care. Thank you Johnna!”

“I’m really glad I booked with Coryn! She was able to take care of my pup on very short notice . She sent me pictures , took him on a walk and had a play buddy for my baby. 10/10 would recommend her ! :)”

“We have used Susan multiple times for daycare and she is wonderful!! She is a warm and kind person and truly loves dogs. I feel very comfortable leaving Maya with her, knowing Maya will be safe and well taken care of.”

“Katy came highly recommended to me and I’m thrilled with her care and training of our five month old puppy, Gidget. She took her for the day as a trial run for a trip we will be taking soon. Soon after we dropped her off Katy sent us a short video of walking Gidget and teaching her to heel, and throughout the day sent a few more explaining and showing us how and how well Gidget was doing. Katy’s dogs are great pups and good teachers, too! She is positive, kind and knows dogs. We are looking forward to trusting Gidget with her again. Thanks Katy!”

About: Hi, I'm Anna! I am a passionate, highly trained animal lover dedicated to giving your pet the safest and most fun experience possible. Since March, I have been an active volunteer with the Sacramento SPCA, where I have completed intensive online courses and hands-on, in-person training in canine behavior, body language, and socialization. I am fully certified to handle and walk the shelter's Green and Orange color-coded dogs. Because of my training and reliability, the SPCA also trusts me with their Foster Furlough program for their highest-need Pink color-coded dogs. This means I regularly take these advanced-level dogs out of the shelter environment for day trips and overnight stays in my home to give them a break. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk, structured socialization, or just an attentive and loving overnight companion, I know exactly how to read their body language and keep them safe in real-world situations. I have a very flexible part-time schedule, my own reliable vehicle for check-ins, and a deep commitment to following your exact house rules and routines. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I don’t work so I’m home pretty much all time unless I’m running errands. I’m available Tuesday-sat to come and help out with your babies!! I have a fenced yard but always prefer to watch them while there going potty or playing! I’d also be able to crate them if needed:)

About: I have a wide range of experience with pet care having taken care of dogs, cats, horses and bunnies. I absolutely love adapting to each of their unique personalities. I am particularly good with scared/sensitive animals and have done a lot of work with desensitization to improve their confidence while in my presence. I have training in grooming as well. I am currently not in grooming due to some carpal tunnel issues and am looking to stay involved in the pet field and would love to get the chance to work with you and your pets! I currently have 4 bunnies and a dog who absolutely enjoy getting spoiled in their structured environments! I am currently really flexible in schedule and able to adapt to the care that you would need. I would love for this to be a venture that becomes full time for me but at the moment I do work night shift at a warehouse. So I am not always able to do overnight care but am used to being available at any needed hour. Hours and availability will become more open as my experience with this app grows. So if you are interested in working with me but it doesn’t look like I am available with the times you need please still feel free to reach out as that might have changed. My life is built around my pets and I throughly enjoy our routines. The bunnies love coming out to play and my dog really enjoys her walks and gets to sleep in the bed and of course morning belly rubs are a must.

About: I’m generally great with animals and I’ve been a cat mom for 3 years now so I’m quite good at making sure a pet is taken care of. I go the extra mile. And follow directions pretty well. Just finished pet CPR training. I’m relatively flexible but prefer to work in the morning because my other job is at night. Totally free Sundays. I have class Thursday evenings right now and I’m usually at the gun range Saturdays but all other days of the week, I’m flexible. I do a bit of traveling but I will block off those days or I’ll let you know if I’m not available on your requested days. Just let me know ahead of time and I’ll let you know of if I can accommodate your request. I prefer texting via the app as much as possible. I make sure to respect your cat’s space and that their needs are met. I feed pets as instructed. Give treats as necessary. Make sure they have adequate water.
“Amanda was fantastic! She treated my fur babies like they were her own. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful and professional. I felt completely at ease knowing she would be caring for my pets. She even went above and beyond by allowing me to borrow her doggie stroller for my elderly and blind doggie to use so he wouldn’t feel left out when they went for a walk with my younger dog. I highly recommend her services and I will definitely ask for her services again in the future.”

“Jennifer is AMAZING!! She was so accommodating to the last minute request. She exceeded my expectations by being so so so patient with my boy Bear (he was abused when he was a puppy and gave him the time he needed to acclimate. I will definitely be asking for her services again, if she’s willing! Thank you Jennifer!!”

About: Hi, I’m Kaeli, your pet’s new best friend. Thank you for visiting my page! A bit about my experience with pets… I’ve grown up with small pets and dogs and have 5 years of professional animal care experience. I’ve also fostered puppies, kittens, senior dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits… you name it! I am comfortable with pretty much anything with or without legs! 🙂 I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate your family’s schedule and pet routines. Whatever you need, just ask! We can figure it out. My own household is a brat pack of rescues—2 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 rabbits. They are spoiled… Some would say too spoiled 😆 While I’m not home with them, my husband holds down the fort. If you choose me, I’m confident your pets will feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. I treat them like my babies. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d love to see if we would be a good fit!
About: My older brother and I live together while I am in graduate school. I have a dog, Zoey, and with her being my only baby, we love bringing dogs in to play with her and join us on hikes and beach days! Darius and I are huge dog lovers with 4 years of experience taking care of fur babies! We both work mostly from home and am home all day on weekends. I am in graduate school, but those are evening classes, so I am able to give the dogs a full day of love and play and dinner before popping into class. My brother is home when I am not, but we are often home together with the dogs. Darius is more athletic than I am so he’ll run with the pups and I’m more here for fetch and cuddles 🥰 In the warmer months, I hike and go to the beach on weekends about once a month, but I always bring Zoey! I go with my friends (one has a senior dog and one wishes she had a dog) so I always have a helper if you are okay with your dog joining! My pictures show one of Zoey’s repeat besties who goes with me hiking, on trails, and to the beaches often! I am a mama bear for my dog and her safety and We make it our mission to do the same for yours! I have a fenced yard and on walks use a gentle lead so that she can’t get too far or choke. I monitor feedings and keep any ingestion-prone toys and objects away from all pets.

“JILL IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! We have a very distrusting and behaviorally challenging dog, and Jill is beyond patient and kind with him. He loves her! We are so lucky to have found such a compassionate and trustworthy person to watch our whole pack! She takes her time and really got to know us and our animal’s needs. She goes above and beyond - your fur-babes couldn’t be in better hands.”

About: Ever since childhood, I have always been surrounded by pets, from big animals, to cats and dogs. I can do everything from walks in the park to giving them baths. proper pet care is something important for your pets well being Currently I am enrolled in college at Sacramento State, my summer classes are online so there is time to check on your animals between my classes. How I care for my dog Is that she gets feed once in the morning and once at night. when I have time before class, excluding Monday and Wednesday this semester, I take my pup on at least a 20 min walk. She spends most her time outside, but sleeps inside at night.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life & cannot imagine life without one. My current fur baby is a 4 year old black lab & I’ve learned a lot about dog training over the last 4 years. Dogs need physical and mental stimulation every day & they rely on their humans for everything. Please allow me to love, entertain, & care for your fur babies whenever you are not available. I’m happy to be their second best friend. I’m currently a stay at home mom to 2 humans & 1 Labrador Retriever. I am available weekdays before 3pm with some flexibility 3-5pm. Available for meet & greet Saturday or Sunday. I will take notes on any special instructions or requests you have. Every pet has a different play style & individual needs so I aim to treat each one in a way that makes them (& you) happy.
“Have had Isabella dog walking service for a few months now, and I am still thrilled with her service! She's super attentive for my pup and I've seen such a growth in independence and potty training since having her. Thanks a million again, Isabella!”

About: I have been dog & house sitting for over 10 years and absolutely love pets (including cats!). I do small business accounting and work for myself, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and be around for morning and afternoon walks, as well as spend more time at home with the furry buddies. I'm all about working with pet parents on their commands and making sure I use commands the dogs understand and try to encourage good behavior. For (overnight) house sitting, I'm available a couple times per month. For dog walking and pet sitting drop-ins, I'm available three to five times per week (2x/day). I don't currently have any pets of my own, so I really enjoy spending time with animals and being a pet Auntie!
About: I’m an experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of hands-on care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I specialize in in-home pet sitting and house sitting, which means your pets get to stay comfortable in their own space while you’re away. I’m especially good with pets who are sensitive, older, shy, or used to a calm routine. I pay close attention to instructions, schedules, and small details—feeding, medications, walks, and home care are all handled carefully and respectfully. While I’m not able to board pets in my own home, I’m very reliable for overnight stays, extended trips, and daily check-ins. I treat every home as if it were my own and every pet as if they were family.. My children and I started watching dogs in 2013 as a way for them to have the experience of having a furry friend and the responsibility it teaches. Over the years we have had the pleasure of bonding with regulars (the dogs, cats and sometimes the people too!) learning about breed specific tendencies and characteristics and have and continue to enjoy having the furry guests stay with us. My kids have since grown up and moved out on their own. Restless in my empty nest I have moved on. As such my house is no longer available for boarding. However, I am continuing to house sit which I started doing about a year or so prior to having doggy guests. I am also available for drop in visits and walking services. Feel free to contact me with any questions! Cheers! My schedule is flexible and allows me to adapt to your pet’s existing routine so their day stays as normal and predictable as possible. I prioritize consistency with feeding times, walks, medications, and companionship. Because I focus on house sitting and drop-in visits, I’m able to give pets unrushed attention and maintain the rhythm they’re used to with their owners. I provide care in your home so pets can remain in their familiar environment, which helps reduce stress and anxiety. I follow all care instructions closely and keep a clean, respectful presence in your home. I’m very reliable for overnight stays, extended trips, and daily check-ins. I treat every home with care and every pet as if they were my own, prioritizing safety, calm handling, and clear communication with you while you’re away.
“Jenna rocks! She was on time, super friendly and great with our dog. She's knowledgable and experienced and we will definitely be seeing Jenna again for walks and overnights in the future.”

“Jessica is amazing! She has walked our 2 dogs for us when we’ve been away on a couple of occasions now and she’s done a great job every time. Our dogs can be a bit difficult to handle (one is very reactive and the other can be nervous, both can be unsure about strangers) and she handled them with ease and they’re very happy to see her now. She went above and beyond, and even spent some extra time hanging out with them. I would highly recommend her!”
About: I have had dogs (and cats) my entire life. Trained, love and traveled across the US with my animals in tow with me. We currently have two dogs, Ozzy & Bear. I am retired and love to garden, travel and play with our dogs! We moved back to the Sacramento Area recently and would like to do something fun and thought pet sitting would fit perfect. No pet sitting at our house. Animals need to be in their own environment where it is safe and they are comfortable with their own toys & bed.

About: I am just getting back to rover and would love to discuss how I can help your pets and family. I currently work part time with a flexible schedule. Previously I have helped many families through rover. I am available to help with many things from house sitting, to daily care and walks. I love dogs and have experience with many breeds, and all different kinds of animals. Currently I can not work with agressive dogs. I can work on basic obedience, and training as well. Hyper puppies I know well and can help get energy out and work on basic manners. For care here in my home I do have dogs and cats. The cats keep their distance. Your dogs dont have to spend time with the other dogs but I would like no aggresion in passing. My dogs are both females very freindly and socialized. They are indoor outdoor very loved and cared for. Just moved and working on setting up the new property. We have a secure yard and a mostly secure backyard fences only 3 ft as well as a larger partially fences. I do have kennels beds as needed I have alot of experience, from rescue dogs to raising puppies. I have had many different breeds over the years. All dogs will love me and I will take great care of them. However I realize my home is one that may not suite all dogs. We have a busy home out in the country with many different animals. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to meet. I am home almost 24/7 so I can make sure they will get plenty of attention as well as coming in and out of the home to keep cool and safe. When I am outside dogs may go in fenced yard. I have 1 fenced play yard and a few smaller x pens I use for small dogs. Otherwise dogs are walked often or inside hanging on the couch, or in a room whichever is most comfortable for them.

“It was a great pleasure to have Rachel and Jason taking care of our pup ‘Hugo’. They took wonderful care of him and we would definitely recommend reaching out to them if you need a good place to house your pet.”

“Drop off and pick up was a really easy transition for the dogs. We loved all the pictures and videos we got of the dogs having a great time. We really liked being informed on them. Serena did a really good job making the pups feel loved and comfortable for the stay.”

“Doh is excellent with the pups. She’s patient and kind and provided many pics and updates throughout my vacation. My dog seemed to really like her and my family did as well! Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely fantastic care for our rescue Great dane 9 month old puppy we’ve only had for a month , from the continued updates and photos it was clear she had tons of fun got ample playtime and was treated incredibly well!”

“Melissa cared for our 2 dogs for a week. She was so kind and really wanted to continue doing what the dogs were used to. Thankfully she agreed to put salve on Mavis’s hot spots from allergies. Dupey went to Melissa to get some petting when we returned to pick up the dogs, so I know they were well loved. I was happy to find a pet sitter without other pets so I didn’t have to worry about any potential interactions. Thanks for all your hard work, Melissa!”

“This was our second time dropping off our pup with Wyne, this time for an overnight stay. This was the first overnight stay we’ve done for our pup so I was a little nervous, however, all of my worries disappeared when I saw how excited she was to see Wyne again! Our puppy literally peed in excitement and ran right over like she was right at home. Wyne was great at keeping me updated and sending photos. Thank you!!”

“Johnna was amazing! She was super communicative throughout Milo’s stay, sending me regular updates and photos that gave me total peace of mind. Milo instantly felt comfortable with her, and it was clear how much care and attention she gave him. I would recommend Johnna to anyone!”
