I've always been an animal lover and have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including my own pets and helping care for family and friends' pets. I'm comfortable with different personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine, preferences, and quirks. I'm naturally very patient and attentive with animals, and I genuinely enjoy to know their personalities. My schedule is very flexible right now, so I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, or boarding — mornings, afternoons, and evenings. About: Having been through some pretty big life changes recently, I’m reminded to slow down and focus on things that make me happy. One thing that makes me happy is dogs. I’ve also wanted to get out and take more walks, so what better way to enjoy both than dog walking. I’ve had pets of all types all my life, but dogs are hands down my favorite. I currently have two of my own and occasionally watch my friends’ dogs. A friend of mine uses Rover, and I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a teen, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have taken a few training classes when my dog was a puppy and I have some experience with special needs (seniors, blindness, low mobility, and seizures). I work full time, but telework three days a week. For midday visits and dog walks, someone close to home would be best to ensure availability. We can always discuss evening visits or walks as well. For boarding, unless discussed and scheduled prior, weekends would best to ensure I can be home with your fur babe. I treat visiting pups like my own. They’re allowed on my furniture and in my bed. I have multiple crates of various sizes if a crate is needed. My yard is fenced, but dogs aren’t typically left unattended in the yard. I have seven free range chickens in my yard, so their safety is also a concern for me. I’m also open to discussion if your dogs’ needs don’t align with my typical routine; I don’t mind changing things up if it’s something I can accommodate.

About: Have volunteered at a cat shelter for six years with young and senior kitties, and have had puppies all my life! Very comfortable with the grouchiest or shyest of the bunch. I focus on socializing and enriching activities so that your kiddos can go straight to a nap after I leave. Happy to do some cleaning during my visit to keep things tidy. Laid off right now and apart from studying for a certification, I'm home and available for visits! My radius is set small so I should be a max ~10 min drive away, easy :-) When doing home visits it's important to me to show respect for you and your home while you're gone. “Jenna took amazing care of our dog Whiskey while my partner and I were on vacation for two weeks. Whiskey was staying with my parents but we needed someone to give her some exercise. Beyond giving Whiskey her regular walks, Jenna was a great communicator, and also went above and beyond. On her second walk, Jenna noticed that Whiskey seemed a bit off. (She had just had a foxtail removed a few days prior). Jenna went out of her way to communicate what was going on and even called Whiskey's vet to make sure there was no medication she had been given that might be causing tiredness or confusion. All ended up being fine, but I really appreciated that Jenna was so attentive, and it made my partner and I feel very reassured that Whiskey was being taken great care of while we were out of town. About: I’m generally great with animals and I’ve been a cat mom for 3 years now so I’m quite good at making sure a pet is taken care of. I go the extra mile. And follow directions pretty well. Just finished pet CPR training. I’m relatively flexible but prefer to work in the morning because my other job is at night. Totally free Sundays. I have class Thursday evenings right now and I’m usually at the gun range Saturdays but all other days of the week, I’m flexible. I do a bit of traveling but I will block off those days or I’ll let you know if I’m not available on your requested days. Just let me know ahead of time and I’ll let you know of if I can accommodate your request. I prefer texting via the app as much as possible. I make sure to respect your cat’s space and that their needs are met. I feed pets as instructed. Give treats as necessary. Make sure they have adequate water.

About: Bare minimum care for animals is not accepted in my house. I only offer the absolute best I can give for every furry friend. I've owned and cared for almost every category of critter you can come up with (Birds, reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, cats, dogs, etc.!) Almost all my passions revolve around animals and always have, I spend most of my time helping people with their own pets when I'm not caring for mine. I also am starting out in dog training and have two years experience with a few types of canine training. My own dog is an exceptionally trained GSD that's helped this journey. About: Ever since childhood, I have always been surrounded by pets, from big animals, to cats and dogs. I can do everything from walks in the park to giving them baths. proper pet care is something important for your pets well being Currently I am enrolled in college at Sacramento State, my summer classes are online so there is time to check on your animals between my classes. How I care for my dog Is that she gets feed once in the morning and once at night. when I have time before class, excluding Monday and Wednesday this semester, I take my pup on at least a 20 min walk. She spends most her time outside, but sleeps inside at night.
About: My older brother and I live together while I am in graduate school. I have a dog, Zoey, and with her being my only baby, we love bringing dogs in to play with her and join us on hikes and beach days! Darius and I are huge dog lovers with 4 years of experience taking care of fur babies! We both work mostly from home and am home all day on weekends. I am in graduate school, but those are evening classes, so I am able to give the dogs a full day of love and play and dinner before popping into class. My pictures show one of Zoey’s repeat besties who goes with me hiking, on trails, and to the beaches often! I am a mama bear for my dog and her safety and We make it our mission to do the same for yours! I have a fenced yard and on walks use a gentle lead so that she can’t get too far or choke. About: Our three rescues recently traveled to the rainbow bridge after 13 years in our home. We are not ready to fill our home permanently, but are emotionally available to love on your babies while you’re gone. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I have many years of pet sitting and house sitting including dogs, cats, fish, and bunnies.
