I was a little nervous to book someone the day before I left but Katherine made it easy and smooth sailing for me. She came for a meet and greet to see what was needed and took meticulous notes. She thought to ask important questions that I hadn't thought of to make sure everything went well while I was gone. Late that night, right before I left for the airport, I discovered a problem with one of my new feeders (Katherine was doing one feeding of frozen raw food per day and my new automatic feeder was doing the second). I had no time to fix it before I left. I alerted Katherine to the problem, unsure how that would affect things. She had already done research on the feeder and reassured me she could take care of the problem. She was able to fix the feeder for me and get it set up for the rest of the trip. How's that for service?! She put my mind at ease and was a lifesaver! Katherine is very experienced with cats and excels at professionalism and communication. She sent me pictures and updates daily and made friends with my two cats, even my super shy female. She’s very organized and kept track of who was who and who needed what meds and who liked what food. She also did a great job cleaning up the messes my cats made in the middle of the night including the limoncello they broke. What a mess but she cleaned it up and put everything in bags so as to not make any further stinky messes. I will definitely hire Maci again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, and have been around dogs since I was 6. I am able to provide senior pet care, tend to anxious animals, and I care about the animal’s comfort, safety, and peace of mind. I currently work a part-time job, with an unfixed schedule, so I am willing to do pet work outside of work hours as best I can, whenever I have time outside of work. In client’s homes, I am able to work with any schedule your dog needs, (medication, outside time, walks, etc.) I make sure pets feel comfortable and I am not a stranger to them. They are supervised and given all of the outside access they need for potty breaks, and they are being fed on time and well handled with care.

About: I've had dogs my entire life so I have experience with dogs of all ages. I currently have a dog and two cats, and I'm also trusted in my neighborhood and amongst family and friends as someone to watch their animals when they're gone. Im a full time college student but I usually always have my own animals in my bedroom with me, sitting under (or on top of) my desk while I work. I have a friendly dog who absolutely loves play dates, so your dog would never get bored. My backyard is quite large so the dogs have tons of room to run around and play. The fences are regularly checked for holes under them to ensure our dog can't get out. I also have two large cat cages in my home where each of my cats sleep, but if needed, they can sleep in the same cage and the other one can be used to provide your pet some privacy, with their own food and water dishes. I have many many many interactive cat toys so even while i'm working, they can play with the toys that are attached to my desk and walls, along with scratching posts.

When I got Nermal spayed that was my first time administering medication to an animal but she did great and so did I. Unfortunately now she has asthma so she gets daily medication!

About: Hi, I’ve been dog sitting for awhile. Usually for friends. I have 2 small dogs, 5lb yorkie/maltese 10yr, and 8lb Pomeranian mix 12yr. They’re walked regularly, and on weekends, I usually take my dogs hiking. If I make other plans, such as a beach bonfire or camping trip, my dogs come along with me. Your dogs are more than welcome to join. I also have a fenced backyard and beds available for them indoor and outdoors. They’re fully vaccinated. I also have a well behaved cat that wants no part of anything. Not even me! She does her own thing and is the sweetest when she wants attention. I have experienced with special needs dogs with seizures and those that need meds, even freshly neutered and spayed. I’m doing weekends for now. F-Sun. Unless you’re ok with them staying at my house while I’m at work. I’ll be hybrid soon. I’m willing to stay at your place or bring them over to mine. They have free range of the house except the rooms and the fenced backyard. My dogs have free range of their food, they eat when they’re hungry. But if your dogs are a set schedule, I can accommodate that. My dogs know they’ll be on a set schedule as well.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was very little. I’ve always had dogs in my household. I currently have 3 right now and although it’s a lot of work, I want a 4th! I worked with pup walks for a while and also volunteer at the Dublin animal shelter so I am very experienced with all sizes of dogs. A few of my friends have cats and they are absolutely amazing and very easy to handle. I am comfortable walking, bathing, feeding, and sitting your fur baby! I currently work part time in Livermore so I’m looking for something else to just keep be a little bit more busy during the week/weekends. I’ll play with your fur baby in the yard or home, take them for a walk- whichever you prefer. Feed them and give them water, let them relax or crate them - whichever you prefer.

I'm reliable, attentive, and make sure every pet feels safe and understood. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work part-time and am off during the summers and holidays, which allows me to spend a lot of quality time at home. I am typically out of the house for only 3–4 hours at a time, so pets are not left alone for long periods. I truly love animals and am actively involved with a nonprofit rescue organization, so caring for pets is something I am very passionate about. Their well-being, enrichment, and daily needs would always be a priority in my home. If your dog is not used to being around cats, I do have an in law unit (where my mother in law lives) that I can put the cats in during your dogs stay. This is also the case if I happen to be fostering a cat during the time of your dogs stay. I provide attentive, structured care tailored to each pet’s needs. In my home, we have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, as well as a walking trail close to our house for regular walks and enrichment. Pets receive supervised outdoor time, exercise, play, and plenty of affection throughout the day. Because I am only out of the house for short periods (3–4 hours at most), pets are not left alone for long stretches. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medication (if needed), crate routines, and preferred sleeping arrangements. I provide mental stimulation through toys, basic training reinforcement, and interactive play. I try to maintain their established routines to reduce stress and ensure consistency. Clean water, a tidy feeding area, and lots of love and attention are always part of my standard care.
