“Wow, I’m glad we found Mike! First, he was extremely responsive. When we messaged looking for boarding for our dog in about a weeks time, he replied quickly and set up a meet and greet for the next day. He replied quickly to all our messages bout logistics. Second, he has a great combination of attentiveness and no-stress. He asked all the usual questions about our dog, and wanted to get to know her needs. When meeting Bowie for the first time, he read he body language as other dogs went by and even guessed “she isn’t been to this park before, right?” Which was true. Our dog isn’t used to socializing much with other dogs, so we were a little nervous about leaving her with another dog in the house. But Mike was very relaxed and confident about it, without being minimizing. We could tell that he reads dogs carefully and knows his dog well which made us feel comfortable that he could manage the two dogs interactions well. Finally, Bowie clearly had fun! We got some great pictures of her on hikes, lounging in the yard, and napping on the couch - her kind of vacation! My only hesitation in leaving a positive review is that other people might snag the future dates we want for boarding 😁”

“My 11-year-old male boxer stayed with Jeff and Beth and their kiddos May 17-20, 2025. It was his second time with them (would have been the third, but they were unavailable the second time I tried). This family will always be my go-to host for my beloved old dude. Their property is dog heaven--a hill to climb on and a patio to sun on. Jeff and Beth allow him on the furniture and in the kitchen, where he enjoys helping with meal preparation. He gets plenty of socializing with other dogs, and he loves children, and gets cuddles, walks and human attention too. Beth and Jeff are wonderful about sending photos and text updates throughout the day. They are also proficient at administering meds. I commend them to you with great pleasure.”

After a precious sitter canceled on me 5 hours before my flight for the holidays, I reached out to Suzanne frantic and hopeful with her great reviews that she would be open to watching my pup over the holiday! She was very responsive and too the time to speak with me before agreeing to meet me and Nelo to determine compatibility. During the intake she walked me through where Nelo would be playing and staying. She asked all the right questions to ensure she understood any needs he may have. After meeting and Nelo instantly becoming comfortable she agreed to watch him and we were able to catch our flight out. During the stay I received daily video updates. Nelo arrived home well taken care of and sad to leave all the fun friends he had made. I’m so happy to have met Suzanne and I look forward to having her sit Nelo again. I would 100% recommend!”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid. Unfortunately, my pet (who was the love of my life) passed away. She was a high-needs dog with extreme separation anxiety and leash aggression, so I have skills to handle that type of pet. From then until now, I have focused on raising my children. I miss the company of animals, and I am wanting to be around them! My kids love animals, so your pet would get lots of cuddles while you’re away! I’m a stay-at-home mom of three. Two of my kids are in school, and the other stays home with me. We have lots of time on our hands to attend to the needs of your pet! If boarding at my home: I have two yards that are completely fenced in. I also have three animal-loving children. We let animals on the furniture. Our home is their home ☺️ If dropping in while you’re away or doing walk: My days are fully open starting at 9am. With kids at home, things get busy again at 5pm. Drop-ins would need to be between those hours. I can also visit again after my kids go down for bed which is usually 7:30pm. My child loves stroller walks, so hopefully your pet does too! Having a pet myself, I know how important it is to make your baby feel as calm and regulated as possible while you’re away. Putting them with a loving and responsible caretaker while you’re away is not a decision taken lightly. I hope I can be that for you and your family.

We needed someone to watch him for a few hours over three consecutive days while we had construction happening at our house and my husband and I had unusual work schedules, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the whole thing. Poe clearly had the best time staying with them: playing in their backyard, going on walks, and spending time with their family and kids. We have a baby on the way, so it was especially nice knowing he was getting some positive time around younger kids, and Lisa and Cameron said he did great with them. They also sent us adorable photos and videos every day, which we loved. Poe came home happy, tired, and ready for a very good sleep after getting so much attention and exercise! This was our first time having Lisa and Cameron watch Poe, but we would absolutely book with them again. They are such warm, friendly people and clearly great with dogs. I grew up with cousins who had many cats and dogs over the years, so I love spending time with animals! I am never discouraged when it comes to caring for an animal. I make time and I will always move my schedule around so that the animals can be happy. I have a fenced yard that is split, boarders have been placed along the fence. This is to prevent fence fighting or becoming territorial. I have large water bowls I keep 2 outside. I refill the water ever 2-3 hours a day. I clean the yard with a pooper scooper three times a day. I spray the yard with cleaner and fly spray. I do this everyday 7 days a week. My dogs are usually outside from morning till night. I give them walks in between the day and I train my malinois a lot due to their high drive( trainer for 9yrs) . Always entertaining them and giving them something to do is crucial.

About: We know what it feels like to try to find a good pet sitter and leave a fur baby in someone else's care. We live with two teens, we have experience with senior dogs and cats (as well as chickens and rabbits) and with medicine administration to ill dogs. We will only ever book one household at a time (unless you have a special request). Mike grew up with dogs, Nicola grew up with cats, and we have had a family rabbit, chickens, and dog in recent years. We have just welcomed a trained service dog into our household as of August 2026. About: I found my kitten when he was two days old next to a tire in a parking lot - brought him home and had to bottle feed him every 2 hours. He’s now thriving over 4 months old! I also used to have a senior dog a couple of years ago (he passed at 17) who was in diapers, blind, and couldn’t really hear. I have experience with big dogs too (such as german shepherds). I’m a student and I’m currently taking online classes, so I have a good amount of free time, and would be more than happy to take care of your pets :) I don’t offer services in my own home, however, when pet sitting in yours, they will be watched closely and with much care! Your pet is the #1 priority.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In your home, I always respect your space and stick closely to your pet’s routine — from feeding schedules and walk times to their favorite toys and nap spots. I create a calm, familiar environment so they feel secure while you’re away. I also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I offer a cozy, clean, and peaceful space where they can relax, play, and enjoy lots of one-on-one attention. I carefully introduce them to the space and tailor everything to their individual needs — whether that means quiet corners, slow-paced walks, or plenty of playtime. No matter the setting, your pet’s well-being is always my top priority.
About: We adore animals of all kinds. We have hardwood floors for accidents, and filtered water. We have a fenced yard for running around with our kids and potty, always allow indoor access, and we don’t leave your pet alone. James has volunteered at the Dog Shelter for years, has CPR/Rescue training(for humans) and an understanding of CPR and first aid for dogs. After many years of dog sitting, we've welcomed a variety of different dogs (around 50+ at last count) into our home. We have administered eye creams, injections, and many other medicines. We don't clip nails. We are happy to send pictures and videos and even facetime or video chat by request. James works from home, and we typically go for two walks a day so we are always happy to have a guest pet with us. We have thoughtfully organized our home to avoid dangerous substances, escape issues, and to ensure maximum joy and safety! We would love to give you a tour during a meet and greet.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life, including my sweet lab/German shepherd mix, Layla, who we lost to cancer 3 years ago. Right now, we have a rescued cat and a 1-year-old pup staying with family back in Las Vegas. We recently relocated to Moraga and are staying with my sister until we get on our feet and can bring our loves along with us. We're missing our pets and would love to love on yours! I'm absolutely obsessed with dogs, and my kids love all animals (they'd bring home every stray *anything* if it were up to them!). We found our cat wandering a park and took her in, so I get where they get it from! I know how important it is to feel safe leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I treat every animal like they’re family. Whether it’s senior care, playful pups, or cuddly cats, I’ve got the experience, the patience, and the heart for it. I work in mental health remotely and my husband is at home with the kids full time while I focus on building my practice so we have a healthy amount of flexibility. We would be honored to be entrusted with the care of your little loves. We were previously homeowners who rented often and managed multiple properties, so we know how important it is to treat others' home like (if not better!) than your own. We will care for your pets in your home as you prefer, and are comfortable with crates, walks, light training, etc.

“Wow, I’m glad we found Mike! First, he was extremely responsive. When we messaged looking for boarding for our dog in about a weeks time, he replied quickly and set up a meet and greet for the next day. He replied quickly to all our messages bout logistics. Second, he has a great combination of attentiveness and no-stress. He asked all the usual questions about our dog, and wanted to get to know her needs. When meeting Bowie for the first time, he read he body language as other dogs went by and even guessed “she isn’t been to this park before, right?” Which was true. Our dog isn’t used to socializing much with other dogs, so we were a little nervous about leaving her with another dog in the house. But Mike was very relaxed and confident about it, without being minimizing. We could tell that he reads dogs carefully and knows his dog well which made us feel comfortable that he could manage the two dogs interactions well. Finally, Bowie clearly had fun! We got some great pictures of her on hikes, lounging in the yard, and napping on the couch - her kind of vacation! My only hesitation in leaving a positive review is that other people might snag the future dates we want for boarding 😁”

“My 11-year-old male boxer stayed with Jeff and Beth and their kiddos May 17-20, 2025. It was his second time with them (would have been the third, but they were unavailable the second time I tried). This family will always be my go-to host for my beloved old dude. Their property is dog heaven--a hill to climb on and a patio to sun on. Jeff and Beth allow him on the furniture and in the kitchen, where he enjoys helping with meal preparation. He gets plenty of socializing with other dogs, and he loves children, and gets cuddles, walks and human attention too. Beth and Jeff are wonderful about sending photos and text updates throughout the day. They are also proficient at administering meds. I commend them to you with great pleasure.”
About: We have spent years loving our own dogs, and honestly, we treat them better than we treat humans. :-) When your pup stays with us, they aren’t just being watched, they are joining a household, dedicated entirely to belly, rubs, naps, and maximum comfort. About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid. Unfortunately, my pet (who was the love of my life) passed away. She was a high-needs dog with extreme separation anxiety and leash aggression, so I have skills to handle that type of pet. From then until now, I have focused on raising my children. I miss the company of animals, and I am wanting to be around them! My kids love animals, so your pet would get lots of cuddles while you’re away! I’m a stay-at-home mom of three. Two of my kids are in school, and the other stays home with me. We have lots of time on our hands to attend to the needs of your pet! If boarding at my home: I have two yards that are completely fenced in. I also have three animal-loving children. We let animals on the furniture. Our home is their home ☺️ If dropping in while you’re away or doing walk: My days are fully open starting at 9am. With kids at home, things get busy again at 5pm. Drop-ins would need to be between those hours. I can also visit again after my kids go down for bed which is usually 7:30pm. My child loves stroller walks, so hopefully your pet does too! Having a pet myself, I know how important it is to make your baby feel as calm and regulated as possible while you’re away. Putting them with a loving and responsible caretaker while you’re away is not a decision taken lightly. I hope I can be that for you and your family.

“Sunday has been through a lot of difficult changes recently—a move, the loss of her doggy best friend and just normal growing up. Sunday is a sweet girl but can be high energy, anxious and a little mischievous. Megan and Jenny handled Sunday like absolute pros. Sunday was entertained with walks and lots of play time in their sweet house/yard. Jenny + Megan are responsible, reliant, and absolutely in love with their dog friends, not to mention flexible and easy-going—they treated Sunday like their own and I feel so thankful to have found such loving people to look after my girl. From the very first interaction they have been so responsive and accommodating! I hope to rebook them again soon, just so Sunday can get her fix!”
