Ocean has a handful of special monitoring needs due to a chronic GI condition and his playful interest in exploring, if not trying to consume, anything. Perry is extremely conscienscious and is very alert to Ocean's behaviors. Perry is also wonderful at making sure my dog is properly back in his kennel area when he drops off and leaves. Ocean is also over the top happy and excited the moment he realizes Perry is coming to walk and play with him. We were SO nervous leaving Rocco with new people after we just got him, but at the meet and greet Rocco warmed up to Gordon and Allison quickly. Our pup gets very anxious/scared of certain breeds, to ensure the safety of all dogs, I will no longer be able to board French Bulldogs, Pit Bulls, American Bullies, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Cane Corsos, Viszlas, Large Doodles and German Shepards** Apologies for any inconvenience this may bring. I have raised animals all my life- ranging from cats, dogs, fish, hamsters and even lizards! I own a 2 year old small mixed pup who makes a great playmate! I have volunteered for my local SPCA for several years and helped foster and trap feral kitties for a healthy future. I currently walk dogs and work part time at a dog hotel so I have a lot of experience with dogs of all sizes, ages and needs. DROP OFF/PICK UP: Due to landlord's request, dogs must be dropped off no earlier than 7am and picked up no later than 10pm. I am very flexible if plans change and would be more than happy to accommodate to new changes in pickup/drop off times as long as they are in this time frame. If anything changes, please let me know at least a day before. I currently freelance and walk dogs part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pup! My dog, Rose, makes a great playmate/buddy if your dog has a lot of energy or can get anxious! I take the dogs out every 2-3 hours to ensure they have plenty of potty breaks, playtime and time to sniff! I have a large fenced in yard (photos provided) to ensure your dog has a lot of space to run around and explore. If your dog needs a morning and/or evening walk please let me know! COMPLEMENTARY BATH: Having taken my past dogs to boardings and working at a dog hotel, I understand how smelly/dirty some pups can get when they are having fun. Due to this, I happily offer complimentary baths for those stays that are 7 days or longer! If you dog has anxiety around baths, let me know, I would be happy to try for a wipe down and brushing as a substitution. SENIOR/DISABLED PUPS: I have a soft spot for my senior pups! Unfortunately due to past incidents, I can no longer take on dogs that are older than 12 years of age. I apologize for any inconvenience! If your dog is a senior or has mobility issues, please let me know prior to booking. The living part of my home is on the second floor so there are stairs. I am more than happy to carry and assist your pet if needed, just let me know! If your dog wears diapers or has trouble with their bladder, I am more than happy to have them wear diapers or put pee pads on the floor- please bring them. I do have some disposable ones just in case! I also have a pet stroller if your little guy likes to get fresh air and wants to go on walks with Rose! Currently, I work part time Friday-Sunday in the morning, so I have plenty of time to play with your pup! We will start our day by going in the backyard to get some exercise/ bathroom breaks. As soon as your pup gets back inside, I will prep their breakfast and separate them during feeding time. If you dog takes a morning walk, we will do so after around the quiet neighborhood. I take the dogs out every two/three hours or more if needed to ensure they get plenty of time outdoors! We love the beach! Your furry friend may be seen there on multiple occasions throughout their stay :) I have a large, double fenced backyard and monitor the dogs at all times when they are outside. Because some dogs can be food aggressive, I ALWAYS separate dogs during meal time.

I’ve also volunteered at the Palo Alto animal shelter, ran a breed specific meet-up/rescue and participated in a pet assisted therapy group at the Stanford children hospital for many years. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I’m excited to be able to meet new dogs and cats and give them the upmost care, comfort and safety in my home. Auntie Drew will take care of your fur baby as good as you would! Every guest goes home with a new toy. 💕 I take guests out for potty breaks at least 5 times a day (more if I have a thirsty customer or senior dog). I also have an enclosed private dog park to use that is very clean. I’ll always be there 100% for your pet giving them attention and will love them like my own! The goal is to have my guest dog happy, comfortable, exercised, well feed and watered and returned safely to their family members. For safety reasons and to give my full attention, I will only have one dog at a time and up to three pets (cats included) from the same family. So if you have three dogs or two dogs and a cat that’s fine. They will be the only ones I take care of. My home is minimal and I have open rooms with no doors so I’m always in the same room with the pet. I do not let my guest dogs come in contact with any other dogs during walks or at the private dog park. Safety is of the upmost importance to me. I won’t be taking my doggie guest for car rides, non-private dog parks or Fort Funston for safety reasons. I know when I boarded my own pets I just wanted them returned to me safely after having a comfortable stay so that is my goal for pet guests.
“My dog and I have been so happy we found Perry. Perry does an amazing job walking, playing and monitoring Ocean. Ocean has. a chronic GI condition and also wants to eat anything he can get to in the house or on walks. I've had a hard time finding someone who can really care for my dog. Perry Is extremely talented at looking out for things Ocean can get at. He also does an excellent job of redirecting If my dog starts having episodes of leash reactivity. It is evident Perry has strong training taking care of dogs. I appreciate that he listens carefully to what the plan is when he drops in and the thorough report and pictures. Best of all, my dog is really happy whenever he sees Perry. I am extremely comfortable knowing Perry can take great care of my mischievous and often sick dog.”

About: I am an animal lover with two cats of my own. Currently, I work at a vet hospital and have experience with both cats and dogs. Additionally, I’m a pre-veterinary student so I’ll take any chance to hang out with animals as I can! I work at a vet hospital from Wed - Sat but I am free for bookings Sunday - Tues all day! Drop-ins before 11am could be made possible for Wed-Sat I do not offer pet care in my own home but I am able to do drop-ins or walks wherever the animal is located! I have my drivers license as well.

About: I have independently taken care of my dogs as young as 9 years old. I have personally raised my own dogs since they were puppies. I have made home-cooked meals, groomed, and love to stay active by bringing them to the beach, parks, and easy hikes! I am currently working a part-time job and college student, but would love to transition into a much flexible & fulfilling job, such as dog sitting. “Henri had a great weekend at Paulina’s! She came out to greet us and then took the leash and introduced Henri to her home-he was so comfortable with her from the start. Our dog has hardly been away from us in his 7 years and I was a little nervous about leaving him with someone new, but I soon realized I had nothing to worry about. Paulina is a very relaxed person and sent updates and adorable photos each day. It made me happy to see him look so at home with her. Don’t let her lack of a backyard discourage you-Henri was happy and tired when we picked him up. We will call on her whenever we need a dog sitter for when we visit our daughter in SF. Paulina was an absolute lifesaver and we are so happy to have found her!”

About: I’ve been around dogs pretty much my whole life, whether it was my standard poodle as a young kid, my mini poodle as a teenager or, more recently, the senior dogs I’ve fostered or adopted from Muttville. Dogs have always been in good hands with me. Right now my wife and I have two dachshund chihuahua mixes we adopted at five and six. Our home is a dog home. They’re on the couch, on the bed and even under the covers (if they want to burrow). They’re in the mix and they’re loved. If your dog has medications, I’ve got it. If they have special needs or they’re older and need a slower pace, I have ample experience with that. I’m currently dedicating my time to taking care of pups, so your pup will have my undivided attention throughout the days and evenings. The max amount of time I’d leave your dog alone would be for four hours. I have two dogs of my own that I would keep separate from your dog to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I have a fully fenced backyard with a couple of stairs. I also have pet stairs inside to help senior dogs get up on to the couch and bed
