About: While my last 10 years of employment have been in the schools and therapy centers, I have been caring for animals since I was about 10 years old. I grew up volunteering at dog training facilities and learning “tricks of the trade”. As a former cat owner and current dog owner, I am a firm believer that pets are a vital family member and deserve all the love and care that humans do (sometimes more). I have currently taken time off from being a full time school administrator to focus on my family. While my children are in school and activities, I am looking to spend time with animals and help others keep their pets well-taken care of while they may be away or working. I treat each pet as if they were my own, and perhaps even better than because I know the peace of mind it brings knowing they are cared for and loved. My family has 3 dogs, and for 3 years we fostered special needs dogs from the animal shelter: litters of puppies, sick dogs, pregnant dogs, and dogs with special medical needs.
