About: I have grown up with many dogs and I volunteer at my local shelter walking dogs now so I really love being with all dogs! I work full time but I have some flexibility during the days here and there and I am free all evenings throughout the week and all weekends I provide individualized care and attention for each pet. If I can tell a pet wants to be alone, I will let them do their thing. If they want to play, I will play with them. I will read the dog and cater to what they want to do!

“Megan was fantastic! She checked in on my 2 kitties while I was gone for a week. She was super responsive and went above and beyond (putting their cardboard house back together, vacuuming around the litter box, etc). I highly recommend!”

“I was so happy to find Katherine! I could tell immediately that she would be great with all three of my cats - even the moody one! She took excellent care of them and was a great communicator. I’d hire her again in a heartbeat.”

About: Hello! My name is Riley and I, like many others on this platform, am a lover of dogs of all shapes and sizes! I grew up with dogs in my home for my entire life and as an adult have taken care of dogs for my neighbors, family, and friends. I have a dog of my own, Snowy (5 y/o Husky mix) who I love running and playing with every day. I am a long distance runner and can run and play with more active dogs or take nice, leisurely strolls with more relaxed pups. I really love larger breed dogs but feel comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I currently work from home full time, so I can take your pup in for day care or boarding if you’re comfortable with them hanging out with my dog, or can pop by your place for a walk or run during my lunch breaks! I'm also happy to stay at your place if you are comfortable with my pup coming along with me and staying in your home. Let me know what works best for you and your furry friend, and let’s set up a meet and greet! I have one very friendly and active pup, Snowy, who will love to play with your fur baby! If I’m caring for your pet during the day or boarding your pup, I will not being having any other pets aside from my own in the home unless discussed with you beforehand. I do have a small fenced in back yard. I’m also happy to bring your pup to our local dog park if that is something you’re comfortable with!

About: Hello! I work from home so, the dogs are under constant supervision. I will only be watching one dog at a time. I have a cat who likes to keep to herself. I presently work from home so I will be able to provide your puppers constant care. I love taking dogs on long walks around Lawrenceville! Fenced in backyard. pups will get plenty of exercise playing with me and going for walks. I understand the trust that owners are placing in me to care for their most loved pets and take that responsibility very seriously. I love and treat the dogs I watch as if they are my own🧡

“Amy is prompt and communicative. A real pleasure. She was very caring with my special needs dog. Would definitely book again!”

About: I became a full-time professional pet- and house-sitter in July 2021. Since the majority of my time is spent sitting in the homes of others, I gave up my own residence a couple of years ago and became a nomad of sorts. I split my time sitting mostly between Wayne County, OH, and Pittsburgh, PA, but I also regularly get referrals in Philadelphia, Maryland, and North Carolina. The great thing about this for pet parents is that I'm never worried about stopping back to my home to check on anything, collect mail, deal with maintenance of any kind, etc - your home will actually 100% be my home for the duration of my stay! Prior to beginning pet care professionally, I had both cats and dogs growing up. I also pet-sit for friends regularly. I quickly make friends with most animals and I am especially known for winning over choosy pets who don't like strangers. Many of my clients actually schedule their time away from home around my availability because of how bonded their pets become to me! I will do everything I can to make sure your furry friend is happy and comfortable on a little staycation of its own while you're away, so you can travel worry-free. A few notes about my rates: -The prices quoted here reflect standard care, e.g., staying overnight, offering 2-3 feedings, doing a morning/midday/night walk or potty break, scooping litter once per day, regular snuggles and some playtime. Before I confirm these rates for bookings, though, I will need to learn more about the needs of your pet(s). E.g., Are they on medications; if so, how are they administered and how often? How many potty breaks or walks will they need per day? How long can they be left alone? Do they sleep through the night? Is it common for them to have accidents in the home that need cleaned up? Is any grooming care needed? -In addition to the above, I will also aim to have a clear sense of what level of home care is desired. E.g., Collecting mail and keeping an eye for packages? Washing used linens? Sanitizing kitchen and bathroom before departure? Vacuuming, sweeping, or mopping? Trash or recycling days? Plant care? Any outdoor tasks (e.g., water plants or grass, snow removal)? -I welcome sitting opportunities of any length. If you're scheduling a trip of 10+ days, we can discuss a discounted daily rate. Pet care is my primary work, so it's the crux of my routine! I also do some freelance work remotely so pet care always fits well into my schedule any day of the week. It's easy and enjoyable for me to take breaks to ensure that furry friends receive regular walks and/or snuggles, plus they can hang with me if I'm working. For dogs who like going on adventures, I am always happy to take them on longer walk/hikes, as I'm an active and outdoorsy person. But I'm also quite a homebody in general, so I will definitely be a couch potato with pets that don't go out exploring too. I will do my best to keep their eating and bathroom break schedule on their normal routine while you are away. I will gladly snuggle them at night in bed if your pets are permitted on the furniture and can ensure observing any rules of the house in relation to where the pet can/can't access. I'm a tidy person who is known by my clients for high-quality care of both the pets and the home. In my college days, I worked as a hotel housekeeper and it taught me to be a neat freak. In general you can expect to find your place the way you left it if I sit for you! I send at least one check-in per day that includes photos to make sure you get a daily dose of cuteness and know that all is well! I can arrange for this check-in to occur at whatever time works best for you. I'm typically a speedy responder to other messages, too, though I do silence my phone while I sleep and occasionally during brief parts of the day, e.g., for meditation, yoga, or virtual meetings. Some clients are comfortable with their sitters having visitors, but I never expect nor assume that's the case and would certainly not bring anyone into your home without discussing the possibility in advance. It's completely fine if clients have a no-guest policy. Even when permitted, guests are uncommon for me, but may include my teen mentee of 5 years from Big Brothers Big Sisters or an occasional gal pal for a movie night. Some clients welcome sitters to eat perishables that will spoil while they're away, others encourage sitters to help themselves to any food in the house. I will never assume either, however, and there's no pressure. Unless I'm explicitly told otherwise, rest assured that the only consumable goods I may use are essentials like cooking oils, spices, and occasionally milk/creamer for my tea.

“Riley has dog sat for me dozens of times. Work requires me to travel quite a bit and it’s always so reassuring to have my dog stay with someone I can trust while knowing my dog will have a great time. I’m very cautious and weary with who watches my dog, and she absolutely loves Riley. I always appreciate the peace of mind while I’m traveling for work or on vacation (and feel less guilty that I’m away). Riley would send regular photos, take her on walks and runs, and all sorts of fun things.”

Jess & Anthony L.Star Sitter
“I asked Jess to watch my 6 month old puppy, Chloe, for 3 days while I was out of town and it was the perfect experience! I'm very over protective of Chloe but Jess assured me that she would care for like she was her own. Jess let me bring Chloe over the day before I left for a little introduction so that she and Chloe could meet and that Chloe could sniff around her place and get familiar with the new surroundings. Jess was available anytime I texted her for an update, which was a lot since this was my first time being away from Chloe and I was a nervous wreck. Jess texted me picture updates frequently and took Chloe on walks around the neighborhood and to the local park, Chloe clearly looked happy in every picture she sent me, which helped calm my nerves. Overall, Jess was the perfect choice to watch my fur baby while I was out of town!! She is the only dog sitter I trust with Chloe and has watched her several times now, Chloe now loves going over her house!! She creates a safe and fun environment for dogs and truly does spoil them with love like they are her own. If you are in any doubt, don't be, Jess is the go to for your fur baby!”
